CONTINUING THE OLD SHEET

[CONTINUE OLD SHEET]

It seems, in this life the issue of romance is the only thing that has a minus value for Jordan. How long the journey of his life, as well as how many romance stories he had felt. None of it worked. Even last time, he lost the person he loved before his eyes. It seemed that such things were impossible for him to enjoy.

But, Jordan also did not regret all his time in the past. All that has been missed, various stories, various memories. Jordan never regretted it all though. Usually it is. Yeah, usually. Because this time it was not unusual. He felt, this time it would be difficult for him to escape the support of that feeling. A sense of dependence and attachment to someone who is now gone.

"Why else?" Tegur Moreo when he saw Jordan who daydreamed earlier.

Arka who was playing chess on the floor with Yogi said, "Biasalah, nagging. Sadboys."

"Got productive of his life, menuh-uhin earth is a man like that," Yogi follow along while running his horse. "Sister!"

Jordan said, "Yes because I'm a consumer not a producer. So it's usually just consumptive, not productive."

"Ngejaaawaab is normal," Yogi looks like a parent who scolds his child.

"Where are your practicum duties?"

The four of them compactly turned to the person who had just spoken. He is the head of this class. Typical kid who looks geeky but mentally thugs. The class leader is always firm in matters of duty. Anyway, it is up to the class members to riot anyhow while they study well and collect assignments on time. He did not want to bother diomeli teacher because there are members of his class whose value is problematic.

After finishing with the four people, the class president turned to the other child. Then he dropped out of the classroom to gather the duties of his friends into the teacher's room. However, his steps were delayed because of someone who was just standing still in front of the class.

"Oh.... Siena's sister, huh?"

Hearing Siena's name was vaguely called Jordan so he turned his head out. There he saw Panji standing awkwardly in front of the Class Leader. The boy gave up a paperbag and slightly lowered his head and left.

"Where are you going?"

Jordan only said with a wave and then came out to the Class Leader who was staring at the departure of Panji.

"What, bye? What does she speak the language of the heart? It's for me, is it?"

"What's that?" Jordan asked and took a peek as the Class Leader looked at the contents.

"Book?"

"Well, this is my missing exercise book!" Jordan Seru. It's been a while since he lost the book. But he still remembered because because this book did not exist so he could not collect the task at that time and got the rampage of the Class Chair.

The Classmaster finally gave the paperbag to Jordan. He continued his duties while Jordan chose to follow Panji. It wasn't hard to find the boy because Panji went straight back to his class. Jordan manages to catch up with him as Panji is about to leave the IV level building.

"Aksa!"

Jordan aligns his steps and stops when Panji stops. Panji turned his head calmly looking at Jordan, but somehow Jordan felt uneasy about this.

"Pennants."

"Eh?" Jordan's confused.

"Call the banner."

Whatever it is, but Jordan thinks he made a mistake. He thought Panji was commonly called that, he just went along with Siena just called the boy by his middle name. But it seems that the call is only reserved for certain people.

Jordan rubbed his nape awkwardly, "Ekhm, okay Panji. I'm Jorda—"

"Yes, you know."

Jordan was annoyed when his words were cut off. But fine if the boy already knows, he'll just go straight.

"Why can my book be the same, huh?"

The banner glanced at the paperbag in Jordan's hand. He accidentally found it while emptying Siena's apartment yesterday with Panca. It seems to have been prepared from far away. There's even a letter.

"Read the letter."

"Letter?" Jordan checked the paperbag again. He took out his book but there was nothing else but that.

"In the book."

After saying that Panji left just like that leaving the confused Jordan.

Jordan looked at the back that was getting further away in front of him. It's been a few months since Jordan saw the broken Panji on Siena's funeral day. The kid hasn't even been in school since the new semester started. Jordan saw her again today. It seemed, Panji had gone through tough days. He seemed to have fought an all-out battle against grief before appearing today. And Jordan was relieved to see it was okay. Because Siena's only anxiety is Panji. When Panji is fine...

"... you can calm down now, Na."

Jordan looked up at the sky, looking at the set of cotton-like clouds moving slowly through space. After feeling satisfied, he turned again towards his class. While recalling Panji's instructions, Jordan checked the sheets in his book. And he actually found a letter there. You can't say letters either. It was just a piece of original torn paper with a few sentences in it. Typical of Siena.

'Gue didn't want to say anything because I was just writing, anyway. Your book was accidentally put in a bag. I didn't realize it, added another hoard of books. This was accidentally met when I ruffled the room. Want to turn around but not useful as well because the exercise has been made again. I thought about it, he said to me on his birthday. This birthday is okay, right? I'm males thinking.'

Ah, goddamn. The writing is also typical of Siena. Jordan wanted to cry.

"When my birthday was that day, but I didn't love you. Begos."

Yes that day. The last day Jordan could hear Siena freely. The day Jordan thinks there's still tomorrow for them. But the truth is, tomorrow does exist, but there is no Siena name tucked in with her.

"Dam! Where the hell is it, lo? Sports hours are about to start, game over there!"

Moreo cheered from the end of the corridor, Arka and Yogi were also there.

Well, losing one person isn't going to make Jordan lose his whole life, is it? Siena's gone, but Jordan's still here. We have to continue living like any other human.

Because time never knows the word wait, we will be left behind if we do not pursue. For that Jordan continued his steps, diving into the future and leaving the past behind him with light weightless steps.

"Five meters!"

Alena tracked her waist glaring at Adimas to keep her distance. After all, Alena still had a grudge against the man.

"Papa's sorry."

Ah, that again. Alena's been fed up of hearing about it for the past month. Strange as it feels, Adimas who usually acts cold apologizes to him. Alena doesn't know where it all started. Everything just happened, Adimas suddenly came to her and hugged her while muttering an apology.

Remembering again, Alena felt creeps herself with her father who was crying at that time.

"Mending Papa works there, my school fees are expensive know!"

Adimas nodded, "Yes you know, Papa's money is a lot."

Alena did not expect Adimas also had a side like this. Then all of you.

"If it is a lot, I want to move to a more expensive school" Alena said as she sat at the dinner table and ate bread that had been smeared with jam by Grandma.

"Come," Adimas answered lightly.

"I want an apartment too because the school is far from home."

"Can Papa take care of it."

"If so Papa can take care of the letter move from now on."

"okay."

"I want to transfer to a special school of gourmet in the capital."

"okay."

Alena turned to Adimas who was smearing bread with jam. Though Alena only origin talk but it was approved.

"Did you hear me say no, anyway?"

Adimas sighed, "You want to move to a grammar school in the capital and move to an apartment because it's a long way from home."

Alena was silent. It was like hearing the most ridiculous thing in the world. An ambitious person like Adimas, presses his ego to comply with Alena's wishes. Doesn't this look more like a dream? It's impossible if it's real.

But, as soon as Adimas rubbed the top of his head, Alena sobered up. That this is real. This isn't a dream. That it turns out after a long time he finally separated from the shackles that had been binding him. That in the end Alena can make a choice for her own life.

"Eh, why cry?"

Adimas was surprised to see his son's teary eyes. Either the feeling or how it was, but Alena's gaze was full of hostility. Did he make any more mistakes? Anyone, please tell Adimas what's wrong this time?

"Because Papa's ugly!"

Alena rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand then grabbed her backpack and just left. Adimas....

The two old men only sighed heavily and shook their heads slowly. Looked at their son's concern.

Adimas frustrated her, "Not only the face, but the temperament was very similar to his mother. The fruit fell from the tree."

So frustrated Adimas until mispronounced the proverb.

"The way is next week, come yes."

Regan offers tickets for her first concert. He smiled widely, completely unable to cover the happy twinkle that was so big he felt. While the two people who were given the ticket only gave an indifferent response. Well, Regan expected it. What can he expect from them?

"OK, look later" said Alena to receive a ticket from Regan.

Different again with Panji who did not even take a helping hand from Regan. He just looked at her so Regan felt awkward.

Somehow at first but they get to sit at the same table. Today is Aeera's engagement day, Regan's older sister. Their families knew each other, so they were led to gather like this.

The atmosphere between Panji and Alena also seemed not good. Regan had no idea how they would go after Alena ended their relationship at the library. He has tried to melt the atmosphere, but the two humans are almost the same nature. Moreover, Panji, he had not even spoken from earlier.

"Love others" Panji said at last.

Regan felt bad, before the relationship was not too good with Panji. Is this kid still vengeful for him?

"Next week I'm moving out. So can't come."

"Moved?!"

Regan did not respond yet, Alena had reacted first. But then he became misbehaved himself. Finally Alena chooses to greet Aeera and leaves Regan with Panji.

The mood of the table was quiet again. And around them are very crowded because of the voices of other guests.

"Ah, wait a minute, yeah."

Panji only nodded as Regan got up and walked hurriedly away from the hall where the event took place. He soon returned with a book in his hand.

"It's...." Panji looked at Regan questioningly as the dark blue-covered book was thrust at him.

"This book has a palanquin."

It seems that Panji has not heard that name in a long time. Apparently Pandu also left memories in the people around him. It was good to know that there was someone else still keeping his brother alive in his heart.

"All the songs in it, he created. Awesome, right? He was very small at the time."

Panji reviews a thin smile. It is so thin it is barely visible. Without feeling the need to look at the book further, Panji pushed it to Regan.

"Save it. This book is in the hands of the right people."

After that Panji no longer held back his smile. He looked so calm, there was a relief letter clearly drawn on his face. Now, Panji's chest is completely airy.

"Why? It's important to you, isn't it?" Regan felt she had to ask. He did not understand the Panji who so easily gave such a precious thing to him. Even he did not see the contents at all. All that Pandu wrote in it was about Panji. About a sister he loved. The book is a form of Pandu feeling. And Panji took it off easily.

"Not the book, but the important thing is that it's him."

Regan lost the word. Panji answered correctly and correctly.

"We think we've opened up a new width. But it's wrong. No new sheet. We just continue on with the old while trying to make the next better than before."

Never mind. Regan doesn't want to ask anymore. All the questions were answered just like that. That Panji is trying to move on with his life, accepting what has gone through and preparing for what will happen later.

Soon Alena joined them. Regan made room for the two. Only Alena and Panji remain.

"Alena, you wanna come out for a second?"

Alena did not expect that Panji would take the initiative to talk first. He followed the man. They end up sitting on a park bench enjoying the gurgling water from the fountain in the middle of the park.

"Promise, I'm sorry."

After a long silence, Alena finally made a sound. He said that while looking down did not look at Panji in the slightest. Until then he was surprised by Panji who suddenly lay his head on his shoulder.

"Why apologize?"

Alena's body is stiff. Did Panji used to be this kind of person? But, isn't this reaction of Alena overreacting? They used to be like this too, but he always responded casually. Why does it feel so strange now.

"Alena, I told you, right? Everyone has the right to feel guilty, he also has the right to not be blamed. You don't have to apologize, because it's not your fault."

Alena turned to Panji who seemed to close her eyes, "It's not your fault either."

"Bahahahahah!"

Panji laughed off. He straightened up his body no longer leaning on Alena, "I'm not guilty of myself either, tuh," he said with the remains of his laughter.

Pimply. Alena's the wrong guy. This is not a banner. It does not look like Panji.

"What do you think? Why look at me like that? Is something weird?"

"AIN'T!" Alena spontaneously yelled and hit Panji in the face, "You're not a Panji!"

"Duh," Panji rubbed his face and then looked at Alena. "Why you?"

Instead of answering, Alena actually got up, intending to go from there. But, it seemed like his movements were too slow because Panji first blocked his arm.

"Alena, wait."

"What?!"

"O-oh, b-nothing."

Because Alena looks angry Panji so feel bad. Although he should be the one who is angry here for being hit for no reason.

"I was wrong?" The pennant asked carefully.

Alena remembered, too. The banner is not wrong.

"Y-yeah, no, anyway. Sorry."

Then they chose to take a walk in the park for a while before entering again.

"The next semester I moved."

Panji looked at Alena, "Move?"

Alena presented her smile, "To the Capital, a special school of fine dining."

"You.. can cook?"

Alena's smile just faded away, "Normally people won't respond that way."

"That's because it sounds impossible" Panji answered lightly.

Alena clucking. Why is Panji so annoying now? It's better if he doesn't talk as much as he used to.

"I also want to move, anyway," Panji spoke half muttered. His gaze looked as if he was thinking of something.

Alena was not surprised anymore. He already knew about the Panji's move. But, what makes Panji who is not a thinker to think hard like this?

"What do you think?"

"The place of vacation," Panji immediately replied. He looked at Alena, slightly lowered his head, "The class hike starts tomorrow , maybe that week is the last time we can meet. Want to play together?"

Alena chuckles, "Main? Could too. Take Regan, will you?"

"Are we that familiar?"

The banner goes ahead of Alena. And Alena's following him. They kept talking about their 'vacation' plan. In the end Regan was also invited to the conversation.

Relieved it. Because the burden felt completely gone.
