EPILOGUE[FINAL]

EPILOGUES

We have heard the term that life is like a spinning wheel. Sometimes above, sometimes below. Sometimes we are happy, sometimes we feel difficult. Sometimes we feel difficulties, but other times we also get ease.

It indirectly becomes a message, that things always go side by side. We can't separate the fun and the sad. Because the two are related and influence. Because the two bond and complement each other. Because that is real life.

"My boyfriend is far away in the country how is he not worried?"

Panji chuckled softly hearing Alena's grumbling voice. He who was busy drying his hair turned to his laptop screen that displayed Alena's face.

It has been a year since Panji moved in with his family. And it has been one year that he also re-established a relationship with the former Vice Chairman of the Student Council. They decided to reconnect because of one thing or another. And after being lived, it was not bad even though the distance of thousands of kilometers separated the two.

"Next week I'm there, satisfied?"

Alena shook her head, "Son, not satisfied. Can't you come to be so secretive? Let suprise."

"Not most hope. Let's go for real."

"Loh, Den Panji, we're dating virtual loh."

Panji chuckled softly, he threw the towel carelessly and then put his focus entirely on Alena.

"Yai. Where are you again?"

"Where, huh? Hm.... Me where? Guess what!"

"Skip, deh."

"Not fun, not fun!"

"You're so old."

"Den Panji!! You don't fight, do you?!!"

"Bahahahahah!"

That's their relationship. Although it had a few times got obstacles, but so far everything has gone well. Problems are not to be feared anymore, because they have learned to deal with them. It is true that experience is the best teacher. Wounds in the past make them learn to become stronger and stronger.

The conversation with Alena ended a few minutes later because of Alena who was already sleepy. It's also natural, because Alena's place now must be late while it's still morning.

Panji opened the balcony door, he stood near the perimeter of the barrier staring down. Seen Panca who is being scolded by Mother for damaging her ornamental plants. Then there is another woman there, if Panji is not mistakenly named Renata. She's the woman Panca likes, and also the one who helped care for Panji's cats a year ago.

Ah, speaking of cats, anyone remember those three Panji foster kids? They didn't bring Panji here unless he gave it to his classmates. He thought they could take better care of the cats.

Panji laughs amusedly seeing Panca's suffering down there. Once satisfied, he intended to go back to his room. But, the canvas on the corner of the balcony caught his attention. An empty canvas that I don't know how long it's been there.

Since the last incident when Panji threw away all his paintings, he has never done that again until now. Once several times he sat in front of the canvas, holding a brush preparing to draw. However, even a speck of color can not be incised. As a result, the canvas is still clean today.

And now Panji is repeating that routine again. He pulled the chair from his room and took it to the balcony and sat in front of the canvas. The banner already holds the brush and palette. But now he still has to think. From where he had to pull the first sweep for this time.

Busy thinking, Panji until not aware of anyone who climbed from the balcony stairs approached him secretly. Until a pair of arms hugged his neck from behind, Panji stopped from thinking.

"Well, Den Panji is a Script Artist now, huh?"

Although unable to cover up his shock, Panji did not feel the need to turn his head to look at that person. He left it alone, and acted as if nothing had happened.

"Change titles, change names too, huh?"

"Oh yes dong!"

"So, Chef Tanuwarman again what's here? Shouldn't you be sleeping?"

Alena laughed hearing Panji calling her Chef. He leaned over his chin on the left shoulder of the Panji.

"My girlfriend's kangen, so just teleported here."

Panji glanced over to see Alena's face. Then he refocused on his canvas, still thinking what he wanted to paint.

"Kok you used to be here anyway? Shocked dong. It's me the story again thanks to surprise, you know."

Alena is still resting on Panji's back. He pricks the cheek of Panji with his finger hoping that the human gives out a little expression of surprise or just moved is also okay. But, what can Alena expect from Panji.

"Your banner is restless, yes."

"Oh, huh?"

"Look at you!"

Alena distanced herself and turned to sit on the floor right next to the Panji. He looked at the blank canvas in front of him as Panji did. Then before long he looked up at Panji who looked very serious but did nothing from earlier.

"What are you doing, anyway?"

Panji sighed for a moment and then put down his brush and palette, "Maybe his Aksara Artists canvas be empty first, deh."

Now Panji moved to sit cross-legged in front of Alena. He focused his elbows on his knees and propped up his chin, "So, can you tell me why you're here?"

"Hoo, you're curious too."

Without mercy Panji pinched Alena's cheek, "Jawab Alena!"

"Yes-yes!" Alena rubbed her cheeks and looked at Panji full of hostility. "Are we dating or not, anyway?"

Panji's hand stretched out again wanting to pinch Alena's cheek next to it again. But Alena hurriedly held him back, "Yes, I'll tell you. I want to see Regan's concert. Satisfied you?!"

Panji lightly shook his head, "Absolutely not. Didn't you say you didn't want to go?"

"He's Papa you're Alena" Panji said. "So that's when your vidcall was here? Who's here?"

"I brought it for you."

This time Panji clasped both cheeks of Alena, "I don't want that."

The check continued with Panji who kept asking and Alena who answered no questions. Before long Mother called them to come down and eat together. Alena is already familiar with the Panji family. Several times he came here for various reasons, such as vacation or service with Adimas.

"Regan didn't know I was coming, you know!"

Now they sit by the pool. Actually it's just Alena because the Panji has gone into the water. The banner of global warming is getting worse, the world today is very hot.

"Why not?"

Alena kept chattering at the Panji that swam back and forth earlier. Then the man approached the edge where Alena was sitting. He rested his hands on the edge of the pool staring at Alena.

"Because you want to see Regan's boyfriend?"

"Not a girlfriend, but a 'prospective' boyfriend."

"You've been repeating it ten times since, Alena," Panji lashed out lazily and dived again into the water.

"Because of you jug—Panji!"

Byurs!

The pennant pulled Alena's leg dangled in the water so she fell into the pool. Afterwards Panji swam away. Alena was in the fog in surprise. He rubbed his wet face and swam to the edge. And don't forget the swearing he made to Panji.

Panji just laughed. He held Alena who was about to come out of the pool by hugging him from behind.

"You're already—Ah! Watch out! Don't hug!"

"Ahaha. Sorry."

"If you're sorry don't laugh!"

Panji tried to assuage his laughter, "Yes-yes. I'm not laughing."

Then they shut up. The banner that hugged Alena and Alena who let Panji embrace her. They had no intention of getting out of the pool.

"How now?" Alena asked quietly with a downcast face. "I don't have a change of clothes" he said, covering his face with both palms.

"Hm?" Panji even tightened his embrace and focused his chin on Alena's shoulder, "Let's borrow it with Mommy."

Alena turned to Panji, "Regan's Concert?"

Panji thought for a moment, "Don't come. You're the same as me."

"Oh-ooh, look at my sister's behavior!"

Panca came around ruining the atmosphere. So Panji melengos lazy and pull himself away from Alena.

"Her towel is my sister-in-law" said Panca while thrusting a towel located in the gazebo on Alena who had come out of the pool. While Panji is still swimming in the water.

"Where's mom, bang?" alena asked while draping a towel over her shoulders. "I want a minjam of clothes."

"There's another garden with the same flowers as Reta."

Reta means Renata, the woman he said 'would' be Panca's girlfriend.

Alena went to see Mommy as she said. Soon Panji also came out of the pool. The boy picked up the towel in the gazebo and just left. Totally ignoring Panca.

Panca who was left just shook her head to see her sister getting away into the house. Panji is still the same as before, he is still a child with a minimal expression that is irritable to talk. However, for Panca there has been a big change in her sister. The present banner was much more open and willing to voice his feelings clearly.

There was a noise from inside the house when Panca was busy contemplating. He finally got up and saw the source of the commotion. Seen in the middle room there is a Father and Mother. Then Renata and Alena who had changed clothes were also there. And plus other attendance.

"Nanny?"

The old woman stood up to see her eldest granddaughter coming. Instead of hugging like Panca's imagination, Grandma actually pulled the ears of her grandson. Panca had already spread her hand.

"My old bachelor's grandson when did you get married, huh?"

"Forgiveness Nanny. I'll get married, find money first for dowry."

"Your alesan! Is that money from your company lacking?"

Ah, company. Don't think Panca is just an unemployed bachelor who is a burden on the family. Although he often wandered here and there, but he also developed his own business. With the help of his friends, Panca founded an IT company. A few months ago he even launched an application that received good reception from various groups.

The banner came down from the 2nd floor after changing clothes. He saw the commotion that was happening there. People who talk. Throw jokes at each other and laugh. Panca's grunts, Nanny's Nagging, the advice of Father and Mother who became mediators.

This house really feels alive to them. Plus there's Alena and Renata there who's been like part of this exit themselves. Panji can finally feel the happiness that people often mention. He finally knows the happy feelings that people often crave.

Everything that happens can make him feel better. The banner learned many things from loss to loss that befell him. And from there he knew to appreciate the people around him more. Panji was taught to take care of what he had, so that when it was inevitable to lose it, at least there was no regret whatsoever he found.

Panji stepped closer, when Grandma realized his whereabouts and called him closer.

Ah, this is what people call a rainbow after rain. A happy one that comes after a prolonged sadness.
