Meanwhile, Layla Serkan had just finished her morning breakfast with her granddaughter. Then he grabbed the tissue and wiped his mouth gracefully. Then he asked Yaya who was standing next to him,”When did Arimbi come home last night? I asked him to wait for me but why didn't he do it?”
Layla Serkan felt that Arimbi did not respect him as an elder in the Serkan family.
“Grandma Serkan, Miss Arimbi came home at eleven o'clock last night. He had been waiting until Madam woke up but Mr. Emir wanted to eat and Mr. Beni came to pick her up.” Yaya replied explaining as briefly as possible without saying the furore that happened last night.
Layla laughs at Yaya's explanation, “Emir is very protective of her! I only asked him to stand up all night but the Emir told him to go home with ridiculous excuses. It's okay as long as he likes it.” Layla shook her head, she felt the Emir's attitude was indeed very different to treating Arimbi.
No matter how much hatred Layla Serkan had for Arimbi, as long as Arimbi could satisfy her grandson and help him through rehabilitation, Layla found him still useful. He would not bother Arimbi too often and allow her to enjoy the quiet and peaceful days in the Serkan family.
Layla will wait until the Emir is fully healed and then kick Arimbi out of the Serkan Family. In the past he had asked the Rafaldi Family to marry Arimbi to the Emir because his grandson was paralyzed. No matter how many wealthy upper-class women in the Metro admired the Emir, they all refused to marry the Emir. Having run out of sense, Layla meets the Rafaldi family at that time.
If the Emir has fully recovered then Arimbi will not be allowed even if only touching his shoes. Of course Layla did not want to keep Arimbi by the Emir's side, her grandson deserved a wealthy upper-class woman as the guide of her life.
“I think Miss Arimbi is taking very good care of Mr. Emir. I heard from Mr. Beni that Miss Arimbi is not afraid of Mr. Emir's temperament his skin is quite thick.”
Layla smiled, “He really is thick-faced? If he doesn't attract Emir's attention, he can't possibly survive there as thick as any face he's got.”
Yaya agreed. After the accident, the Emir's temperament became so bad that no one could deal with it.
But Arimbi continued to live there because he assumed that the Emir might want to work on him and as Layla said, Arimbi matched the Emir's taste of women, so he could stay longer there. Suddenly Layla changed the subject, she turned to Elisha her granddaughter and said, “Elisha, accompany me for a walk.”
Elisha agrees and stands to walk with Layla out of the main house. After walking around the home page, Layla said, “Elisha, why don't we visit your sister?”
“Are we not interrupting his rest time?” ask Elisha.
“We just want to see it. If he refuses our arrival, we can come back here.”
“Alright, granny.” Elisha nodded his head.
They both walked to the Emir's house. As they walked to his residence, they saw the courtyard of the house filled with flowers of various kinds. They thought it was the wrong house and turned around to leave. But just as she stepped Layla stopped her footwork and turned around and looked at the surrounding area closely and she realized something.
“Elisha! I want this is your brother's residence. I don't think we got into the wrong place, do we?”
Elisha also spread his gaze around and hesitantly said, “Grandmother, I remember this place is indeed the home of the Emir. I don't think we're in the wrong place.”
“Then, what about the flowers? I thought we were in our own park.”
“Grandmother, yesterday there was a commotion at the Emir's house. I saw that Beni had bought a lot of flower pots at the Emir's behest. Not only the flowers they carry but also many other plants.”
Layla and Elisha looked at each other. If this is not Emir's nature, maybe this is Arimbi. The Emir actually turned his courtyard into a flower garden for the sake of Arimbi!
“Grandma, will we still visit?” elisha asked, watching his grandmother's face.
Right now Layla was feeling annoyed, but she had nowhere to vent her anger. His grandson is handicapped. And Arimbi takes care of the Emir and his grandson's happiness is what matters most to Layla. He could not interfere about the Emir's treatment of Arimbi.
But, what if the Emir has fully recovered? Layla let out a long sigh and said, :We have arrived here. All right, let's go see your sister.”
Both of them entered the Emir's residence and at that time along with Agha who came out of the Emir's villa while pushing his wheelchair. Arimbi had gone to the hospital to deliver chicken soup to his foster mother. He even took leave from the Emir to be with his parents at home later.
Arimbi will go with Amanda later tonight to attend Zivanna's birthday party at Lavani's family residence. So Arimbi is going to the party from his parents' house. Arimbi had even packed the evening gown she was going to wear tonight.
“Grandmother, Elisha!” greet Agha.
Layla's expression was affectionate as she nodded back to her grandson's greeting. She also felt relieved to see Emir and Agha getting along. “Are you going out Emir?” layla asked her granddaughter.
“I just finished breakfast and want to go for a walk. Is there anything you want grandma to talk to me about?” ask the Emir seriously enough. In the face of family problems, the Emir has always been serious, which is why many people find it difficult to get along.
“What do you mean son? Can't grandma visit you?”
The Emir pursed his lips, mute. Ever since her temperament became worse, her servant did not feel at home working at home anymore. Even his family rarely visited him. Although the main reason was the Emir, he still felt bad. The more he gets angry, the more he vents it to others.
“Where's Arimbi?” tanya Layla pretended to be calm.
“He is going out.” replied the Emir in a low voice. “His adoptive mother had an accident, so this weekend she went to the hospital to take care of her.”
Layla nodded, “His adoptive mother raised him for twenty-three years with great difficulty. It's only natural that Arimbi took care of him when he had an accident.”
Elisha agrees, “At least he is still responsible to his adoptive mother. That makes it so much better than Amanda who doesn't acknowledge her birth mother.”
Amanda did not want to go back to her birth mother and never had contact with her. He clearly looked down on his biological mother and only made use of everything he could take from his adoptive parents.
“Emir, you have a lot of flowers in your home page.” Layla said while watching the Emir's facial expression. He wanted to know what was the reason his grandson turned his courtyard into a flower garden.
“Beautiful once.” replied the Emir in a low voice, “Didn't all these flowers bring the atmosphere of the house more to life? My house doesn't look as boring anymore as it used to be. Arimbi likes it and these are all her favorite flowers.” she added.
