GIRL IN RED
CHAPTER 9. THE AMANDA

“Dad, it is my fault and I must apologize to Mr. Emir. Please let Amanda take me to the Serkan.” family residence in her heart Arimbi has thought of all this. There's no way Amanda can resist if her father agrees and asks Amanda to accompany her there. He knew very well that Amanda never dared to refuse their father's words. But, just as Amanda was about to refuse, Yadid had already interjected.

“Amanda! Go to the Serkan family with your sister and apologize to Mr. Emir. I know you're wiser than your brother so try to say good things in front of Mr. Emir. Although we do not become married to them, at least we do not end up as enemies because it will have a very bad effect on this family.”

Back when the Serkan family proposed, he was stuck in a dilemma. On the one hand he wanted to impress them but on the other hand he felt guilty for his daughter because he was worried that her daughter would not be happy with a life-long marriage. So he followed Amanda's advice and asked Arimbi to decide for himself and make his choice. But it is not unexpected if Arimbi even did chaos of this magnitude.

Just imagining the Emir's flat face alone managed to give the middle-aged man goosebumps, so he had to force his daughter to go there immediately to apologize.

“Alright dad. I will go with Arimbi to the family residence Serkan.” Amanda said even though she was reluctant, Amanda could not refuse because her father asked for it. Hearing the commotion in the guest room, Mosha paled there and at the same time she saw her two daughters.

“They will both go apologize to Mr. Emir.” Yadid said.

“Hah? Apologize?”

With a grim face, Yadid explained, “To annul Arimbi's marriage really-ebnar came to Mr. Emir's place and slashed his hand in front of the man. Who do you think the Emir is? Doing such a thing was akin to slapping his face and trampling on his pride. He's tarnished his name by the behavior of our daughter. Don't you think Arimbi needs to apologize?”

“But---”

“Do not defend Arimbi! He is not the only family member here, you also have to think about the others also dong.” Yadid cut off his wife's sentence, leaving Mosha speechless. The two girls immediately packed up and went to the Serkan family home.

Amanda drives her car to the residence of the Serkan family, she constantly constantly reminds Arimbi to quickly apologize upon arrival there later.

Amanda behaves like a teacher who gives instructions at length to her students, while Arimbi just silently hears Amanda's babbling. He also reminds Arimbi to show sincerity and must succeed in softening Mr. Emir's heart so that the man forgives him and they can both go home. In the back seat, Arimbi just kept quiet because he was secretly thinking about something more important than just apologizing.

Arimbi is trying to recall all the images of his past life, so that he knows what he faces later and how he has to deal with it. Amanda who does not know if Arimbi was reborn also continues to babble.

Arimbi recalled in his previous life, he was taken home by the Serkan family bodyguard after slashing his hand. After that he locked himself in a room and a hunger strike forced his parents to marry him to Reza without apologizing to the Emir in the slightest. With the Emir's personality, he wouldn't let go and his family so easily if he offended him.

Arimbi recalled that even until his death, the Emir did not take revenge and did nothing to his family. Not only that, when she cradled her baby and ran out accidentally stopped the Emir's car on the street. Arimbi recalled that the Emir lowered his windshield and told his driver to let him in when the man realized that it was Arimbi who stopped his car.

In his old life, the Emir had absolutely no grudge against Arimbi after he refused marriage. Is he a good person or is there some other reason? However, Arimbi only feels that his old life is too filled with mystery.

“You understand Arimbi?” Amanda asked involuntarily raising her voice intonation when she saw Arimbi was just silent while her mouth had been foaming at me ever since.

“Do not worry, Mr. Emir will definitely forgive you. Actually, it's their fault for forcing them to marry you despite such conditions. They might trample on you just because you are from the village.”

“Arimbi! I know you fell in love with Reza at first sight. If only Mr. Emir had not been in a car accident, Reza would not have been his match. But now, you know who you chose without needing to ask for my advice. When we get home, I'll help you persuade mom and dad that they'll let you marry Reza. As long as you get married, Serkan family will not chase you again.” Amanda tries to encourage Arimbi to marry Reza as he did in his past life.

Amanda pretends to be worried and that attitude really makes Arimbi sick and wants to immediately tear off the mask on his two-faced face.

“Who said I wanted to marry Reza? I don't want to marry her!” arimbi flat said.

“Ha? You don't want to marry Reza? Wh why? Don't you love her?”

“No! Who said I loved him. I also have no reason why I do not want to marry him.” replied Arimbi still flat.

Arimbi averted his gaze and stared at the scene outside. It's obvious he's reluctant to continue his conversation with the hypocritical Amanda and he doesn't care what Amanda says he doesn't want to respond. He did not say another word to Amanda made Amanda more curious about the change in Arimbi's attitude. Until finally they arrived at the residence Serkan.

At that time, the Emir was reading some important documents while sitting in the pavilion in the garden. A line of delicious snacks lined up on the stone table in front of him and the smell tickled the sensitive smell of Arimbi making him even more hungry.

‘Hem....perfumed once! Looks like I haven't eaten a day last night’ thought he remembered that he had just eaten some pastries with his mother earlier.

“Mr Emir!” a bodyguard stepped into the pavilion respectfully. “Mr Emir, in front of Miss Amanda and Miss Arimbi. They came to apologize.”

The Emir did not hear his guard and continued to read the documents. The bodyguard did not dare to repeat his words he just waited in silence. After a minute of silence, the Emir began to tidy up the papers in his hand and gave the order with a flat face,

“Go to the kitchen and grab the most spicy chili. Mix all the spicy chili sauce in the kitchen and bring it here.”

Although his bodyguards did not understand why the Emir had asked to be brought the most spicy chili, he did not dare to ask anything and directly left the pavilion after receiving the order.

“Bring them here!” emir's orders again.

“Good, Mr.”
