CHAPTER 44. ENVY AND JEALOUSY
After suppressing her envy and jealousy, Amanda pretended to be attentive and gently closed the office door. Just as she was about to leave she saw Reza holding a bouquet of flowers in her hand while one hand covered the area of her cheeks that Arimbi was holding. Arimbi's slap was so strong that his cheek was swollen and bruised.
“Reza? Why are you here?” ask Amanda to approach him.
Amanda cried softly as Reza lowered her hand revealing her swollen cheeks.
“What happened? Who slapped you? Did Arimbi do it?” Amanda soon realizes what happened and guesses before Reza can answer.
Reza seemed to be smiling shyly as she replied, ‘Amanda, I'm fine. I was too rash with my actions that Arimbi slapped me!”
They exchanged looks. ‘Bigger! He dared to hurt Reza? Turns out he wasn't as weak as I thought he was all along, had the guts too he slapped Reza?’ amanda whispered in her heart. The more he thought about it the more he did not understand. ‘Didn't Arimbi go crazy about Reza? What happened to Arimbi? Why does everything look weird and she's changing so much now?’
Amanda has been doing a lot to get the attention and trust of her adoptive parents so Amanda is always the best in their eyes but everything has changed since Arimbi went to the Serkan Family. Even her parents' attitude changed and Amanda started to feel that way.
“I have ice in my office. Let's go there and compress your swollen cheeks.” Amanda said.
Reza glanced at the secretary but Amanda was furious and grabbed his hand and pulled him away. Although Reza often visited the Rafaldi Group but only business matters. After all they had known for so long that no one would suspect seeing the two of them.
After all in this city everyone knows that Arimbi is in love with Reza and the two families are considering their marriage. Once they reach Amanda's office, the girl closes the door and pushes Reza to the door. He came closer and cupped his face and kissed Reza passionately.
Initially, Reza wanted to push Amanda away because she was afraid someone would see them and ruin their rotten plans. But eventually she couldn't hold it any longer and held her hands around Amanda's waist as one held a bouquet of flowers she was reluctant to throw away.
After the two were almost out of breath, Amanda took off her link and stroked Reza's swollen cheeks, “What did you do that Arimbi slapped you?”
“Actually I didn't do anything to him. He ignored me so I grabbed his hand. But he turned and slapped me. The movement is very fast so I did not have time to dodge.” said Reza sadly to make Amanda touched.
“Why can I not realize that he is so agile and so strong? When he slapped me it felt like it was on fire and I could immediately feel my cheeks stupefied. Why was he suddenly that strong?”
Hatred appeared in Amand's eyes as he growled, “Your family and I don't even want to touch a strand of your hair! But he dared to slap you. Just wait for my hand to reach her. After this I will help you get justice and make him pay double!”
Amanda looked at Reza with an affectionate gaze, “What is pain? Sit on the couch I'll get you some ice to compress your cheeks.”
The vice-director's workspace was spacious and bright, there was a lounge, a small meeting room and also a small kitchen. Reza quickly pulled Amanda's hand and handed the flower to her.
Amanda took the bouquet and lowered her head and kissed it gently. Her face was adorned with a smile, “I like it! But.I can't take it. I will help you give it to Arimbi later but I keep a list of all the items you have given him. When our plan succeeds, you will have to pay him tenfold or a hundredfold more to me!”
“Do not worry. I will never make you feel unfairly treated because my feelings for you will never change. I love you so much Amanda!”
Reza hugged Amanda and buried the woman's head in her chest, but what Amanda didn't know was that Reza was now imagining Arimbi in her arms.

“Reza, sit down for a while I'll get ice to compress you.” Amanda said. But Reza's hand still held Amanda and kissed her lips. As she did that, she couldn't help but feel her curiosity about how Arimbi's lips felt because she had never kissed him.
Secretly Reza thought that if there was a chance she should taste Arimbi's lips. Maybe after kissing her Arimbi will turn back into the woman who licked her again.

The Emir told Arimbi to go home before 1pm because Michael Hara would arrive at 1.30am to get his hair done. Arimbi was forced to refuse his parents' plan to have lunch at The Palm Bliss Hotel because he had to take his car at the Raffaldi Family home and was taken to the Emir's house to make it easier for him to move when he had to get out of Villa Serkan.
“Why are you in a hurry to leave? Is Mr Emir looking for you? How'd he treat you? Does she treat you like a nanny?” mosha asked her daughter.
Before Arimbi could answer his mother's question, Yadid had interrupted first.

Don't worry yeah, don't act like our daughter is having trouble in the Serkan family. You will cause trouble for him if you behave like that.”
“I'm sure he's having trouble there. If you don't listen to Amanda, none of this will happen to Arimbi,” Mosah complained.
