GIRL IN RED
CHAPTER 326. ARRIVE AT THE VILLAGE

The car Amanda was driving began to enter the countryside. The vast expanse of rice fields and hills began to appear on the side of the road. Fresh and cool air began to feel, Amanda lowered her car window and breathed fresh air of the mountains. This was the first time he had come to the village where his biological family lived.

Amanda didn't know if the air here turned out to be cool during the day and it must have been cold at night. He only brought two jackets because he did not know what kind of village his parents lived in.

On the left side of the road was a small clear river and children swimming full of jokes and laughter. A sight he had never seen since childhood.

‘So this is where my parents live? Is Arimbi raised all this time? The air is cool and away from the urban hustle and bustle! But this place is not for me! I won't stay in a place like this! How do these people live their lives in a place like this?’

Amanda's mind was filled with doubts for a moment, whether life and days like what he would live during his stay here. He also did not know how long he would stay in this place.

He kept driving his car, not knowing exactly where his mother's house was. He pulled out his cell phone and called his mother.

“Halo mom. I have arrived! Now I'm in a fork. Where's mom's house?”

“Oh Amanda? Have you arrived son? I'll have Adrian follow you there. Wait a minute yes, do not go anywhere.” said Pratiwi who sounded happy.

Amanda stopped her car right in front of the stall, intending to buy mineral water.

Some residents who saw Amanda's luxury car stop were immediately crowded. They thought there might be a lost guest. “Nona, looking for who in this village?” ask a citizen.

“Ah, I just want to stop by for a while to buy mineral water sir.” said Amanda.

“Oh so, wait a minute I get.” said the owner of the shop.

“Where is this phone from?” ask a woman of full stature.

“I'm from the city. Want to go to Pratiwi's mother.” Amanda replied without a smile.

“Ah, is this lady her daughter the exchanged Pratiwi bu yes?” sahut another citizen.

Amanda didn't respond just smiling thinly. He does not like to interact with people from the lower classes because during this time his social environment is only limited among the top.

“This mineral water is non.” said the owner of the stall handed a bottle of mineral water to Amanda.

“This is the money sir.” Amanda gave me twenty thousand dollars.

“Oh no need non!”  said at the shop owner again.

“Why sir? Less money?” ask Amanda again and take fifty thousand money and then give it to the father of the shop owner.

The citizens looked at Amanda in wonder, in the countryside it is commonplace that they give something to someone sincerely but it seems that Amanda does not understand the ethics of the people in the village and feels that the shop owner wants more money because of her than he city and certainly a lot of money.

“Take this sir!” Amanda put fifty grand into the hands of the stall owner's father.

“I sincerely non! The mineral water does not need to be paid.” he said again want to return Amanda money back.

“Receive it! I don't like the free ones!” said Amanda snorted and went and got in her car. At the same time Adrian arrives there and sees Amanda's haughty attitude towards the villagers.

“Amanda!” call Adrian to Amanda's car.

“Hmm! Why so long? Ck!” then he started the car engine. “Points way! I followed him from behind.” he said gruntingly staring at Adrian.

“Ya already! His house is not far from here. After the turn on the right, there was a large house. It's our home.” Adrian explained.

Amanda didn't respond. He looked very upset and just a few minutes into the village, he was already feeling uneasy. Amanda drives her car from behind while Adrian is riding a motorcycle.

Indeed the house was not far from the intersection, after turning right about fifty meters Adrian entered the yard of the house is quite spacious.

The house looks simple and quite spacious. The courtyard was filled with plants and flowers arranged neatly. In the middle of the building looks a house made of half concrete and half wood for the size of the countryside is quite good. Amanda parked her fancy car in the yard.

“Amanda!” it appeared that Pratiwi was running small from inside the house while calling out the name of the woman. Happiness appeared on the faces of Pratiwi and Mardin. Both of Amanda's biological parents greeted her enthusiastically.

After a long time since they found out Amanda was his biological daughter who switched with Arimbi, not once did Amanda return to her biological parents.

Pratiwi hugged Amanda affectionately. He missed his daughter so much, while Mardin Darmawan just smiled looking at his wife and son hugging each other.

Adrian snorted at the sight in front of his eyes, he could see how his feet looked like Amanda was forced to return the embrace of her birth mother.

“Mother is so happy you finally got home. Come greet your father! Your father came straight home from the garden after mom told him you wanted to come.” Pratiwi took Amanda by the hand to approach her husband.

“Amanda!” mardin looked at her beautiful daughter. Reluctantly Amanda approached her biological father and hugged him. The smile on his face was very forced, he glanced at the appearance of his two parents who were very simple. In contrast to the appearance of Yadid and Mosha who wear expensive clothes.

“Come in. I've cooked you good food! You'll love it, all from our own garden, Amanda!” pratiwi said with a smile that never escaped his face.

“You will occupy the room that once belonged to Arimbi. Mom has cleaned it up even though since Arimbi doesn't live here anymore we always clean that room!”

Pratiwi took Amanda to the room she was referring to. Adrian and Panca brought suitcases and other items and put them in the room.

“Amanda, this is Panca. She's your second sister!” mardin introduced Amanda to her other sister. All this time he only knew Adrian and had never met anyone else.

Arimbi's former room was quite spacious and neatly arranged. Single bed and simple wooden cabinets and dressers are in the room, although they are not all fancy furniture like in the Rafaldi family home, but the furniture in this house is also not cheap. The Darmawan family always gives their best to Arimbi.

Arimbi used to be the only daughter in the Darmawan family, so both parents always provide Arimbi's needs the best according to their financial capabilities.

‘Ck! So this is the room that Arimbi has been living in all this time? Aisss! Tomorrow I'll ask Adrian to buy me a new mattress.’

Not even ten minutes there, Amanda has protested a lot. The room has no bathroom. There was only one bathroom in the house at the back of the house. There was no water heater, Amanda snorted as she looked at the simple bathroom without that water heater.
