Then Adrian told Arimbi everything that happened when he met Amanda. Amanda doesn't even want to meet her real mother who was the victim of a traffic accident? “Kejam once.” said Arimbi angrily. Given in his previous life that Arimbi's parents died because of Amanda, he thought this was Amanda's true nature.
He also killed his adoptive parents who never treated him badly. So of course he wouldn't care about his real mother he never met.
“Arimbi, please don't tell mom about this when you visit her. You can tell her Amanda's on a business trip so she's not in town. I don't want mom to be sad and slow down her recovery.”
Arimbi was forced to nod his head sadly. The woman he considers to be his own mother is hated by Amanda. Arimbi's hatred for Amanda deepens, as the two brothers walk back to the ward they see Amanda walking from the other side.
She brought Sandra who was holding a bouquet of flowers and a fruit basket. The fruit basket looked heavy so Sandra seemed to mind carrying it. Even so, Amanda did not help him and asked Sandra to walk faster with a bouquet of fruits and baskets.
Upon seeing the two brothers, Amanda stopped and asked Adrian, “How are things?”
The woman still could not call Pratiwi her mother. He grew up in the Rafaldi family and used to call Mosha his mother. He had only met his real mother once.
“Mommy is inside! You will know after entering.” Adrian said. Because Amanda came, Adrian treated her well.
Arimbi glanced at Amanda, the woman came here even though Adrian said otherwise. So Arimbi felt that Amanda did not visit her mother on her own accord. But anyway, I'd be happy to see it.
“Arimbi, let's go in together.” Amanda held Arimbi's hand affectionately and opened the door. Pratiwi was lying on the bed with his eyes closed and his face pale.
Medical equipment is on the left and right side while the infusion is on the right side.
“Mother!”
Arimbi looked at her foster mother, she cried feeling pain. He broke free from Amanda's grasp and sat down beside the bed. Hearing the familiar crying voice, Pratiwi opened her eyes slowly and looked at Arimbi. He smiled weakly, “Arimbi, is that you? I didn't see wrong, did I?”
“Mother, it's me. I came here to visit mom.” replied Arimbi. Then he turned his head and said to Amanda, “Let's talk to your mother.”
Seeing her biological daughter beside Arimbi, Pratiwi's facial expression immediately turned bright. Amanda eagerly wants to be called mother by Amanda. But Amanda just looked at him quietly and did not show the slightest change. What is visible from the light of his eyes is the disgust of seeing his biological mother.
“Sandra.” Amanda called and looked at Sandra.
“Iya deputy director Rafaldi!” Sandra hurried forward and put down the fruit basket before handing the bouquet to Amanda. After picking up a bouquet of flowers, Amanda put the flowers next to Pratiwi and said, “I hope Madam likes the bouquet of flowers I bought. I also bought a basket of fruit for you. If you're better off eating the fruits!”
After speaking, Amanda opened her bag again and then took out a wad of money from the bag that exceeded the amount she had offered Adrian. Then Amanda put the money on the blanket and looked at Pratiwi's wrinkled face. Amanda's voice sounded soft but emotionless, “There were forty million there. Use the money to eat healthy food. Don't be afraid to use it just say it's over. I'll give you more.”
Pratiwi was so disappointed that Amanda didn't call him mom. But the woman forced a smile on her face. “Amanda, I'm glad you're willing to visit me. But I don't want your money. Just take back the money.” said Pratiwi then looked at Adrian, “Adrian! Take the money and give it back to your sister.”
The driver who hit Pratiwi has paid for the hospital bill and the insurance company has also paid. The driver even promised to give a larger amount of money later. So he doesn't have to worry about his medical expenses. All Pratiwi wants is a daughter who calls her a mother. Adrian quickly took the money from the blanket and handed it back to Amanda.
Amanda refused to take the money back and said calmly, “I'm busy with my work so I can't stay here for too long. All I can give you is my money. If I refuse, I will feel bad. Does the Madam want to see me sad?” Amanda took the money back and put it back on the blanket.
“Arimbi, I will return to the business meeting. Stay with him often.” After that Amanda rushed out with Sandra. Actually, he didn't want to visit his real mother at all. Her adoptive mother reminds her of the accident and Amanda visits Pratiwi because she doesn't want her adoptive mother to think she's cruel.
“Amanda!” Arimbi calls and chases after him to stop him. Amanda turned her body when she heard her name called.
“Amanda! The one lying there is your real mother. I had an accident because I wanted to see you! Since you're here, can't you stay longer for mother's sake? Is your job more important than your own mother?”
Amanda beckoned Sandra to go downstairs and wait for her. After Sandra's departure, Amanda approaches Arimbi and smiles cheerfully which makes Arimbi unhappy. His hands were already itching to slap Amanda who he considered an ungodly and cruel child. ‘How dare he smile happily when his mother was the victim of an accident?’ whispered heart.
“He has you! He was the one who raised you Arimbi! You call her mom and you have deep feelings for each other. You're the one who should be living with her, not me! Because I don't deserve to be their child!” amanda said arrogantly.
“Although she's my mother but she never raised me. I can't call her mom. Seen to me, my mother is only MadamMosha Rafaldi!” for Amanda, Arimbi is a man who is willing to fight for her mother and everything related to her. People like Arimbi should stay together with people like Pratiwi! Amanda reached out her hand and tidied up Arimbi's clothes.
“Arimbi! Stay with your mother. I'll leave now, if you need anything just call me.” After saying so Amanda turned around with her head raised and walked away. Arimbi looked at him away with an expressionless face. For a moment he calmed down then turned around and walked back to the ward.
