CHAPTERS 15. CLOTHES FOR THE EMIR
Arimbi, who was unaware of the Emir's arrival, began to choose clothes in the boutique. While Reza was busy following him, occasionally commenting. When the Emir went inside the boutique he saw Arimbi pick up a dress and he was looking for someone who could help him to try on it. Reza quickly stepped forward offering himself shamelessly. The Emir's face immediately pouted at the sight.
Even though they are married lightning, not based on any feelings for each other, the woman should be loyal and not be with other men and friendly because they are married. Plus, he even wanted to buy the man clothes! That's what the Emir is thinking right now.
Fortunately, Arimbi did not allow Reza to try on the clothes she had chosen.
“Welcome Mr Emir!”
Everyone in the boutique greeted him politely and Reza and Arimbi were the last to greet him.
“Halo Mr Emir!” Reza did not expect to meet the Emir here. Although the man is disabled and sits in a wheelchair, the Emir is still a business god in the Metro. A single shake from the Emir could cause a devastating earthquake in the business world. Just like the others, Reza was respectful and afraid of the Emir. But on the other hand he did not want to waste the opportunity to look for face, so he approached the Emir and dragged Arimbi to come with him.
Arimbi's clothes are still in his hands, he felt guilty when Reza pulled him to the Emir. The man immediately glared at Arimbi like an angry bull. Arimbi felt guilty and wrong. ‘Wait! Why do I feel guilty? Her thought. Arimbi straightened his back and puffed his chest while smiling sweetly at the Emir.
“It just so happens that Mr Emir!” arimbi said with a sweet smile. The sweet smile on Arimbi's face exuded a glint in the Emir's eyes and left Reza agape for a while as he had not expected that Arimbi would have the courage to smile at such an Emir.
‘Didn't Arimbi slash his hand to refuse marriage. And his actions offended Mr Emir but why did he smile at him instead? Shouldn't he be afraid of her? Thought Reza.
“Huh!” Emir grunts, “It just so happened!”
This brave woman also went on a date with her lover, even buying him clothes! Does she think her lawful husband is dead? Emir murmured in his heart to hold back the upset.
“This is his shirt....” said Arimbi who wants the Emir to try his choice of clothes.
The Emir stuck out his hand and said, “Show me!”
Arimbi gave the shirt to the Emir, he saw the attitude of her husband was very haughty when taking the shirt from Arimbi's hand. A moment later the Emir threw the shirt back at Arimbi saying, “This shirt does not look good. But....” he glanced at Reza,”It was suitable for Mr Kanchana!” she said sarcastically in a cold and flat voice.
Emirs do not wear such clothes because all of their clothes are designed especially for them by top designers and they only use the best quality fabrics.
Hearing the Emir's remark made the Shop Manager's face flinch and hurriedly explained, “Tuan Emir, our shop is a franchise store of a famous brand all over the world. All the clothes in our store use the best quality materials.”
The Emir has a big influence in Metro City, if the Emir complains that the quality of the brand is not good then it will have an impact on their store business as well as the sale of that store.
“Emir! I didn't choose this shirt for Mr. Kanchana. He and I have nothing to do so why should I buy him clothes? Actually I was planning to buy this shirt for you but forget it! You don't like it, do you? You think it's a good brand.” said Arimbi.
Everyone in the store was shocked to hear Arimbi's explanation. But, suddenly the Emir took back the shirt from Arimbi's hand with an indifferent expression. He stared at the shirt pretently and it was as if he accepted the shirt by force. “No shame anyway wearing this shirt.”
“So, do I have to buy it, Emir?” ask Arimbi.
The Emir threw the shirt at Arimbi, then moved his wheelchair, “Serah!”
His bodyguards quickly pushed the Emir's wheelchair away from the store. The store manager and other workers escorted the Emir to the shop door. “Thank you for your visit Mr Emir! Careful on the road.”
Arimbi pursed her lips when she saw the Emir, she thought her husband was very haughty and his visit to the shop was similar to that of a noble who was on a trip.
‘Did he really like this shirt or not? He said that this shirt was no shame. Does that mean he can take it? Thought Arimbi who finally decided to buy the shirt. If the Emir doesn't like it, he'll give the shirt to his foster brother Adrian. After the Emir's departure, Reza turned around and looked at Arimbi with a complicated gaze.
Unfortunately Arimbi did not even care about the man. He paid for the shirt and left.
“Arimbi!” Reza called him and tried to stop Arimbi, “Why did you buy that shirt for Mr Emir?” He thought Arimbi bought him that shirt.
“What does this have to do with you?” arimbi said flatly without even a single glance at it.
Reza was silent and stunned, he was not used to Arimbi's attitude now. She was no longer the woman whose eyes would sparkle every time she saw Reza, now Arimbi felt distant and icy cold. At that moment, Sandra called Arimbi. He had just parked his car and entered the area but he had no idea where Arimbi was.
Arimbi answered his telepeon and told Sandra to wait for him at the entrance of M&J Boutique. After hanging up her phone, Arimbi steps towards her sat boutique but she feels Reza is following her. “Why are you still following me?”
“Arimbi! You're acting really weird on me today. Are you mad at me for not visiting you?” reza asked very carefully not to make Arimbi angry.
The woman just laughed cynically in her heart she cursed Reza. At this time Arimbi felt that he was too patient with the man even though he really wanted to strangle Reza to death in that place. ‘Does he think Arimbi will be as kind to him as he did in his previous life? Don't dream!
“Do you think I'm acting strange? Do I look different or what? I'm sorry Mr. Reza Kanchana, I'm very busy right now and I have to go. Stop following me! Or I'll call the police and report you for stalking and harassment.”
Secretly Reza noticed Arimbi's movements. It's true what Amanda told her that Arimbi did change, but why? Amanda said that Arimbi changed after he came home from the Serkan family residence. What really happened to him when he was there?’
