“Mrs Kanchana. You---”
“My dear message, let's continue our conversation inside,” suddenly Yessi cut off Mosha's speech as she hooked her arm on Mosha's arm and she did not forget to order the workers she was carrying to bring the dowry inside. After that he smiled and took Mosha into the house, as if she was the owner of the house.
The handle was so strong that Mosha could not break away even though she had tried several times and it made her even more annoyed at Yessi. They were already inside the house, Yessi brought Mosha to sit on the sofa as if she was the owner of the house and did not care about Mosha's dark facial expression.
“Oh besanku darling. Look at the dowry they brought, try to check the dowry first whether you are satisfied or not. You can tell if you are not satisfied and I will add more until you are satisfied to receive it.”
“As I have said before, don't mention marriage anymore! I want my daughter to stay by my side for a few more years.”
How could Arimbi have married Reza while he was already married to the Emir? Mosha felt her anger mounting with this situation, she started to complain to herself about how her daughter did not even bother to tell her about such an important matter.
At this time Yessi did not care and did not want to listen to what Mosha said to her. Yessi continued to harass her workers to arrange the dowry in the mansion's luxurious hall.
Yessi carries some very striking jewelry that is almost painful to look at.
“This is the key of a new car. This is the key to the villa that will be occupied by my son and your daughter after marriage later.” said Yessi excited.
“We will do the renovation in the villa and they can move immediately after the wedding. By the way my dear, let's go shopping if you have free time. We have to give them new furniture for their new home later so they don't have to worry about it anymore.” Yessi kept talking as if she was a machine gun firing bullets incessantly.
Not giving the other party a chance to talk, this made Mosha even more hateful and disgusted. Mosha has tried to talk many times but Yessi always talks without giving Mosha a chance.
“My message dear, this jewelry is like my own baby. Some of these jewels are new and I'm sure your daughter will love them! Look how good all this jewelry is under the light. These are all real gold and silver.”
Mosha feels that Yessi is showing off the wealth of the Kanchana family to her.
“Mrs Kanchana!” mosha's countenance was pale as paper and she didn't even care if she was being disrespectful as she said out loud, “I told you-my daughter won't marry Reza! Please bring back all these items and never talk about marriage again. Arimbi has a reputation that he must take good care of, I can't let your son ruin it.”
“Gosh! What are you talking about Mrs Rafaldi? What does Reza have to do with Arimbi's reputation? I didn't even come here to ask Arimbi to marry Reza.”
Mosha was even more confused by Yessi's words. “Who would you meet if not Arimbi? What's Amanda?” Mosha has only two daughters and Yessi would be here for Amanda if Arimbi wasn't her choice.
“I'm very sure that you would like to see him have a happy life. Isn't that my darling? The Kanchana family is a pretty good family. Take it easy, we will treat Amanda like our own daughter if she marries Reza.”
Mosha's expression became even darker. He felt that Yessi had purposely poked him with to hurt his heart. Arimbi used to love Reza so much that he took care of her and obeyed her as if the man was a god. To the point of making Mosha feel jealous because her own daughter treats others better than Arimbi treats her.
Mosha still remembers how Yessi looked down on Arimbi but she must have come to propose to Arimbi because she was their real daughter. But now Arimbi has decided to marry the Emir and not Reza. Mosha had made sure to reject this proposal but Yessi had brought a dowry and this time the items were brought in to propose to Amanda instead. This is a slap in the face of the Rafaldi Family.
Mosha tried to remain calm and provoked by Yessi, “Is this your wish or Reza? Why doesn't Reza come here with you?”
“What's the difference? Anyway we propose to one of your daughters!” yessi replied a little bit of a sense of coo implied from her words. She has taken her own steps to propose without the knowledge of her husband or son.
Even Yessi was still upset about the village girl like Arimbi who had dared to reject her son so she felt that by proposing Amanda to Reza it would be a hard slap on the girl. She can't hold a grudge about how Arimbi said how Reza fell in love with her. Did Yessi deliberately bring an abundant dowry and propose to Amanda after Mosha rejected the previous proposal?
All of this was indeed Yessi's own actions and initiative to anger Mosha.
“Mrs Kanchana! I don't care if it's your idea or your son's. Please go and bring back all these gifts. All this made my house filled with stuff and so narrow!”
Mosha won't let Amanda and Reza be together once she finds out that they love each other.
Because Amanda has a desire to deceive Arimbi, Mosha will not let go of her and she will stop Amanda from being with the man she loves! Of course, Mosha won't mind if Amanda ends up being Reza's lover. Whatever happens, Mosha swears she won't let Amanda marry Reza!
“My message darling! Why don't you tell your husband and daughter and ask Amanda for her opinion on this? Who knows, he'll accept this proposal. You can't break off a relationship you're destined to have together. You'll be struck by lightning as punishment, you know?”
“I made the decision in this family! Amanda won't marry Reza if I don't give her permission!” mosha said coldly.
Unless Amanda wants to completely ruin her relationship with Mosha then she can marry Reza. Meanwhile the smile on Yessi's face faded after Mosha said that but she kept trying to be calm and friendly, “Mistress Rafaldi! Our families are equal to each other. Marriage between our families will only benefit both families.”
“You don't have to persuade me anymore Mrs Kanchana. Please go and bring all this.”
With a disappointed face Yessi sighed and said, “I really want us to be Mrs Rafaldi! I'll leave all these dowries here. Please think carefully, there are not many youths in this city who are better than Reza. Can your daughter marry someone better if she rejects Reza's proposal? Look at the sons of the Serkan Family, Lavani and Harimurti perhaps a little more brilliant than my son. But they are at a higher level.”
