CHAPTER 90. DEVASTATIONS
“Have you forgotten that you recently went to Serkan's residence because you wanted to see Arimbi? Who else if it wasn't you who would make trouble for our company?”
Reza recalled the moment he met the Emir and said confidently. “Dad believe me, it's not my fault dad. I really didn't upset her or anything. Mr. Emir even told me that he would come to my engagement and Arimbi later.”

The intercom ringing voice stopped the conversation of the two people. Harry Kanchana picked up the phone. Reza simply kept her father speechless trying to listen to what the caller had to say. After that Harry slammed the phone on the table with anger and even pulled the phone cable.
Reza immediately understood that something was not right. “Dad, what's up?”
Harry suddenly turned to look at Reza and glared at him. “Reza Kanchana! You better confess! What kind of behavior have you done while in Serkan's house? Manager Johan who has been taking care of business relations with our company just told me that Mr. Aslan, assistant to Mr. Emir has informed about their desire to sever all business relations with PT. Kanchana Universe!”
Aslan is the general secretary and the right-hand man of the Emir. There are many people who want to collaborate with Serkan Global Group through Aslan. However, Aslan was not an approachable person, no one had ever managed to bribe or lick him. He was an unshakable man in terms of loyalty to the Emir.
Reza had not answered anything when her father's secretary knocked on the door again. “Kanchana Director! I just got word that---”
When Reza thought things must have changed for the better, Reza urged him to say what the secretary wanted to say. “What is it? Quickly say!”
“Director Kanchana, there are rumors circulating that we have offended the Serkan.” Family, the secretary said with caution and a soft voice.
“What? The accusation is not true! Tell the public relations department to clear up the mood immediately and find out who started the damn rumor? I will sue until they have nothing left!”
Rumors quickly circulated that Serkan Global Group cut all business relations with PT. Kanchana Universe right after the Emir signed the cooperation contract. There are only two possibilities of all the chaos that occurred, namely the Serkan Family trying to destroy the Kanchana Family or there is a third party who meddles in their affairs.”
Pt. Kanchana Universe has many partners who are not close to the Serkan Family. But still if there are rumors like that circulating it will only damage the good name of the Kanchana family. His business partners are people who are afraid of getting into trouble and to save themselves, they will stop cooperation with PT. The Kanchana Universe will cause great harm to the Kanchana Family.
Serkan Global Group is so influential in Metro that no other party besides Harimurti Group and Lavani Group can bear the consequences that such rumors have caused.
“Quickly tell manager Johan for him to come with me go to Serkan Global Group right now.” Harry orders his secretary. Harry knew the best way to save himself from the situation.
He wanted to let the public witness how pleasant the conversation was between him and the Emir or Aslan. He did not even need to discuss about the rumors that were circulating in order to eliminate those rumors. As for the Serkan Global Group that cut off all their business relationships, Harry is very confident there is a good reason behind it all and he will find out.
“How about me dad?” asked Reza who was starting to feel anxious.
“Dad! I really didn't do anything that would drag our company's good name into the abyss!” Reza whines feeling accused.
“I'm pretty sure you're the cause! You must have offended the Serkan Family when you and your mother went to propose to Arimbi at the Rafaldi residence! Damnit damnit! Reza Kanchana! Are you desperate just to get a wife? Why should you try to atomize a woman with the Serkan Family?”
It was the only reason Harry thought that might offend the Emir.
“Dad, we applied first. So it's not my fault!” reza is still tight.
The Serkan family only proposed after the Kanchana family did. Isn't the order they went to Arimbi worth counting?
“Arimbi must have threatened to hurt himself in front of Mr. Emir as a rejection of his proposal to marry you, it could be the reason Mr. Emir is angry then. This is why he took revenge on us.” Harry said again.
“But father, Mr. Emir told me that he will prepare a great gift for Arimbi and me when we get engaged. She will even come to the engagement event.” Reza said again. It was because of the Emir's words that Reza became very eager to get engaged and marry Arimbi. The longer they discussed made Harry kanchana even more confused.
“You better stay away from Arimbi! He is a walking curse for you! You can see only from the way that actually refused the marriage proposal, it shows that she will only cause problems for her future husband.” after saying that Harry Kanchana rushed out of his office and went to Serkan Global Group's office with Johan's secretary and manager following him. The only thing he had to know was that the Emir had left since then when the three men arrived at his company. It's lunchtime anyway.
While at the Rafaldi Family home, Arimbi still had a quiet and peaceful lunch with Mosha, they had no idea there was such a big commotion going on in the business world. Arimbi also did not know that her husband had started to do the Future Plan he wrote for Arimbi the other day. The Emir is not a man who likes to wait, he always moves quickly to get things done and that is why he is invincible in the business field.
“You've gone home Miss Amanda? Madam and Miss Arimbi are having lunch together. Have you eaten? Let me get you a plate.” said the waiter heard with the sound of Amanda's hasty footsteps. His appearance immediately disturbed the peace of Arimbi and his mother.
“Amanda!” Mosha is shocked when she sees Amanda rushing into the house. Mosha carefully asked him, “Amanda, have you eaten? Come join us if you haven't eaten.”
Amanda tried her best to hold back her anger as she forced herself to smile and look calm as if nothing had happened. “Bu, I had a meal with my biological mother earlier when I was in the hospital taking care of her earlier.”
Arimbi bribed his mouth food and glanced at Amanda with a scornful look, “What's with your hasty steps and your fake smile? Did something happen to you Amanda?” asked Arimbi casually.
“I'm fine. Lunch with Arimbi. I'll wait for Arimbi in the guest room. There are a few things I want to ask Arimbi later.”
Amanda still held back and did not question Arimbi in front of her mother. After that Amanda turned around and walked out of the dining room, her attitude that made Mosha confused. While Arimbi had no change in expression on his face. Even so, in her heart she was curious as to what Amanda wanted to ask her in such a hurry to go home.
