CHAPTER 89. RETALIATION BEGINS
“Dear arimbi! It was just a dream and not reality. Just because of the dream you had, you actually forced Mr. Emir to marry you. Then get into a fight with Amanda and also stay away from Reza? Don't you think it's all a little silly?”
“Mother, I'm afraid my dream has come true. I'm afraid mom and dad would really-I'd rather take it as a dream omen. I want to make sure everyone is safe rather than assuming it is just a dream.”
Hearing that Mosha asked, “But, have you ever considered that Amanda did exactly what she did in your dream because you let the dream itself destroy you both?”
Arimbi could not just tell his mother that the dream was something that had happened in his previous life. All he could say was to use the words spoken by the Emir earlier, “Mother! Amanda and I won't get along in the end as long as I'm your real daughter and dad. He would still come to behead me even if it wasn't me trying to behead him.”
Mosha was silent to her daughter's words. He and Yadid have trained Amanda to become the heir to the Rafaldi Group. Maybe Amanda looks gentle and polite on the outside but she is actually a very ambitious woman.
Thinking that everything belonging to the Rafaldi Family will fall into her hands, Amanda has worked hard to improve her quality. He has always been driven by the motivation to develop the Rafaldi Group and make it one of the richest companies in the city.
But his plans have failed when it is revealed that he is the son of a couple from a village and he has no blood relation with the Rafaldi family. Plus Amanda and Reza are actually lovers. Arimbi said that the two of them had established a relationship behind him in his dream. They even have children out of their love. Not only that they caused the death of Jadid and Mosha as the sons of Arimbi.
Mosha's face immediately turned pale after she listened to her daughter's explanation. No one can dream where every detail is connected. Instead of a dream, the shadow was more like a playable memory where each scene made Mosha start to feel frightened. No wonder Arimbi would make such a decision after he had a dream.
“Mother, don't worry yes. I promise I'll work hard to become stronger so I can protect you and dad. I will not let that dream come true. After all, the Emir has promised to help me.”
Mosha replied in a stern tone, “You are right Arimbi! It is better to think of the dream as a sign rather than just ignore it. You don't have to worry I'll always be by your side no matter what.”
“Thanks mom.”
Unbeknownst to them a mess has occurred at PT. Kanchana as they speak from heart to heart. It turned out that the Emir had already started his retaliation on behalf of Arimbi.
Company director Harry Kanchana who is his father Reza is walking out of his office with Reza when he reminds his own secretary, “Bring all the documents do not let Director Radhika wait too long.”
Harry has gone to great lengths to make a lunch appointment with Director Radhika to discuss a new project they should be working on. This event was a very important lunch appointment for Harry Kanchana. The secretary had checked all the documents that needed to be brought in repeatedly and was sure no one was left behind.
Hearing that the middle-aged man hummed a little while entering the elevator with his son and his secretary who were following them behind. Triigggg. He looked at his phone and told Harry Kanchana.
“I got a call from Mr. Radhika's secretary.”
“Quick lift!” press Harry with excitement.
The secretary immediately picked up her phone, but in just a few seconds her facial expression immediately changed when she listened to what the person who called her said.
After the call ended, he turned to Harry and said, “Director Kanchana, t Director Radhika just told me that we don't need to go see Director Radhika anymore. He has discussed and signed a cooperation contract with Mr. Emir.”
“What?” Harry roared with wide eyes. He even thought he heard wrong. While Reza's face immediately turned grim.
“Did Director Radhika's secretary really say that? But he seems to be looking forward to a cooperation agreement with us? He even reacted positively to our collaboration but why did he suddenly switch to Mr Emir and sign a contract with him?” ask Reza.
“Deputy Director Kanchana, that's all that Director Radhika's secretary told me earlier. He didn't say any reason. He just told me that we don't need to go see him anymore, after which he hung up.”
People who take business opportunities that have been anticipated by Pt. Kanchana is the Emir of Serkan, the god of business in Metro City. Therefore there was nothing the Kanchana family could do even if they were angry.
PT. Kanchana has no chance and no power to fight against the Serkan Global Group. What Harry and Reza cannot understand is that although their company does not have a history of close partnership with Emir-owned companies but so far PT. Kanchana has always been careful around the Serkan Family. Even if they are not friends but they are not enemies. And all this time the Kanchana family has been careful not to offend the Serkan Family.
For the Emir to rob a cooperation project that should be theirs, could it be a sign that the Emir is hostile towards them?
“Reza! Come with me to my room now!” Harry snorted with a sour face as he turned to re-enter his study.
Then he told his secretary to immediately find out if Mr. Emir did that on purpose or not. Hearing the orders of his superior, the secretary nodded and carried out his orders. It was at that moment that Reza turned around and rushed after her father. After the two of them were in the director's room, Harry looked at Reza and asked, “Honest! Tell me Reza, did you do anything to offend Mr Emir?”
“Dad, I would never dare to do that! I always showed my respect to him like he was a king every time I saw him. So why would I offend him? Even if I was bored and fed up with my life, I would never do something that would trouble our family's good name.” protests Reza who does not like if he accused his father like that.
