GPA CHAPTER XXXVII - Wedding Carene -

Darwin's house is filled with many people, ranging from parents to children. They look very happy, celebrating the sacred moment of the marriage of the billionaire's only daughter.

Carene looked very beautiful in her white dress, as well as her future husband. The man looked very handsome wearing his black suit. Both are very happy.

Rachel and Albert came together. They were riding in a sports car that looked very luxurious. Rachel looked so cute in her knee-length dress and so did Albert. Both look very harmonious.

Darwin greeted his guests kindly. In the midst of the crowd, her eyes were fixed on Rachel and Albert. She was a little surprised to find that she was not with her husband Ayud.

Albert approached Darwin, followed by Rachel. Jeny looked at the woman with a fed-up look, but Rachel turned her gaze away. Choose not to care.

"Congratulations, Mr. Darwin, on your daughter's wedding".

Albert greeted Darwin respectfully and threw his sweetest smile.

"Thank you for coming Albert, owner of Mayora Enterprise. It's an honor for me that you can be here".

Albert smiled and waved his hand at Rachel, gesturing for the girl to approach.

"Meet me, sir, this is my girlfriend Rachel".

Darwin looked at the girl with great shock. How could the girl possibly be together with one of the most influential people in the Country, her inner self.

"Well, congratulations Albert. You have found the heart. But by the way isn't this woman married sir?. Sorry if my question bothers you".

Albert smiled, he held the girl's hand affectionately.

"Everything can change sir, it just depends on time. She's nobody's wife now, she's my boyfriend".

Albert said farewell to the couple. At first glance looks of anger that is ready to explode on the faces of both. Rachel squeezed her fingers clumsily. Jeny's gaze really felt like killing him.

"Ra, you're okay, right?".

Albert asked after they sat down.

"Yes Al, I'm fine. But it's sad that both my parents didn't know me on purpose. They consider me a stranger".

Albert clasped the girl's hand and squeezed her gently,

"Prophey Ra, you will definitely find your happiness soon. We're here struggling to make it happen. Don't give up on me".

Rachel nodded. Even though his heart felt very painful, yet he had to remain strong. No one can see her helpless.

Meanwhile, several female guests gathered to greet Ayud, the leader of Liam's Group. The young man looked very dashing in his all-black fashion.

He held a bouquet of flowers in his hand and walked in firmly. His charm is absolutely deadly. The man approached Darwin, and,

"Congratulations on your daughter's wedding".

He gave her a bouquet of flowers that had been held by her. Jeny took the bouquet and placed it next to them. He looked at the man with annoyance,

"How can you be this calm?".

Ayud opened his glasses and looked at Jeny. He smiled a mocking smile, though,

"What should I do?".

Darwin, who realized the bad behavior, finally took action. He reached out to the man and smiled.

"Thank you for coming, please enjoy the food we have prepared".

Ayud put on a mocking look and muttered,

"My b*woman just has a lot of behavior".

Darwin gasped, eager to beat up the brash man. But he immediately restrained himself, unwilling to make a scene in the middle of this festive party.

A few moments later, after all the guests had gathered. Darwin went on stage,

"Good night my honored guests. I am so grateful for all of you coming. I want to announce a few things".

"I am very proud to announce that my daughter has graduated from Tohoku University with excellent grades. I am very proud of the results that Carene has achieved. She's amazing".

Darwin's words were greeted with a very lively applause from his guests. Everyone was proud of the millionaire princess. Carene smiled with excitement.

Darwin continued his words,

"My daughter is married to Natan, a young doctor who is very successful in her field. Hopefully in the future their marriage will have a positive impact on this country".

The guests again gave a very nice applause. The party went on and everyone looked happy. The reporters were busy taking pictures of Carene and her husband.

In a corner far from the people's eyes, Rachel stood sculpting. He sipped his drink in silence. His heart felt very sad, Darwin did not even tell him about his existence.

Albert approached the girl and held her shoulder,

"Ra, if you don't feel comfortable being here, we'll just go home. I don't want you to be sad because of all this".

Rachel let out a sigh and put down the glass she was holding onto,

"I'm fine Al. Just continue the show, later when it's finished we just go home. Just go, I just need to calm myself down for a bit".

Albert nodded and left the girl. Rachel squinted at her head which was a little painful. He immediately went to the back garden in search of a fresh breeze. The smell of alcohol in this room really made her feel dizzy.

When he got there, the girl cried. He wanted to vent the emotions and resentment that plagued his heart. So cruel was his treatment that he had to feel from his adoptive family, Darwin and Jeny.

Meanwhile, inside, Ayud did not seem to enjoy the party atmosphere that night. Many times he glanced at his watch, then decided to go breathe the cool night air. Not far away, he saw Rachel.

"Good night. We'll see you again, my secretary. What brings you here?, you're not enjoying the party?".

Rachel gasped in surprise. Quickly on her caresses were tears that drenched her red cheeks.

"Ah, good night sir. Why did you come here?. You should enjoy the party, right?".

Ayud sighed and threw himself on the chair. He looked at the night sky full of stars. His face is illegible,

"I'm really upset, can I scream now?".

Rachel looked at the man, though,

"What's up, sir?".

"Why are you dating Albert Ra? I think a few days ago, our relationship has improved a little?".

Rachel smiled wryly,

"Sorry sir, I like Mr. Albert. And I just realized that. He told me how he felt, not like you".

Ayud smiled and looked at the girl,

"You're serious about him?".

"Why are you asking something so obvious?".

The man laughed, though,

"Give me a little more time Ra to understand how I really feel. No word no, I don't accept rejection. Remember, Albert's company is still standing, all because of my generosity".

Rachel fell silent, in her heart she confirmed what the man had said. But he can't give up now. He had to stay until the end according to the agreement he had made with Albert.

The man laughed, no matter what the girl thought. A moment later, Ayud sighed again,

"Are you sure that Carene graduated with good grades? It doesn't really make sense. He just went to college and graduated? The rich man's game is really dirty".

The man snorted in annoyance and immediately left the place. Rachel dumbfounded, not knowing how to react. The sky tonight looked very beautiful, filled with very bright stars.
