In a very luxurious office..

Ayud held a glare at the map in his hand. The numbers listed there, successfully make the eyes of the man rounded. He glanced at Manager Huang

"Try checking once again the details of this fund, why can we suffer a loss of this magnitude?. Fire everyone you suspect is involved in this fraud".

"Good sir. But I suspect the loss this time there is interference from the company of Mr. Elijah. It's just my suspicion, I can't prove the truth".

Ayud threw the map he was holding onto the table.

"Alright, check again all the things related to that company. What have they done, so that we could suffer a loss this time. I want a report on that as soon as you're ready".

Manager Huang nodded and passed away leaving his master's room.

Meanwhile..

Anna walked back and forth while occasionally biting her lips. The middle-aged woman looked back at the road many times, like she was waiting for something.

A few minutes earlier..

Ayud is studying his new project. Occasionally, he wet his dry lips with his tongue. This new project, much to his attention. Moreover, with a slightly unfavorable financial condition.

When the man was in focus, his HP rang. He picked it up without seeing first who was calling.

"Ay, are you busy right now?".

Ayud kept the object away from his ear, and saw who contacted him. Then, put the thing back in his ear.

"Yes, more work. What's the matter with Ay?".

The man sighed impatiently, a pile of work waiting to be completed as soon as possible. He wanted to end their conversation. But out of respect for his mother, he did not do it.

"Well, can you go home a little early today?. My mom prepared the food you like the most".

The man frowned, the woman was never good without a specific intent.

"Let's try ma, but can't promise. You see, now the work that Ay has to complete is really a lot".

Anna said her son's words, and immediately hung up. The woman called bi Sri and told her to cook the son's favorite meal. He couldn't possibly dirty his smooth hands for cooking, never would.

Anna smiled in greeting to her son's arrival,

"Ay, sit down here first. Mama wants to talk to you for a second, can you, baby?".

Ayud followed Anna's back, and sat down beside the woman. The guy loosened his tie, man,

"What's the matter?, it looks like you want to talk to me about something serious?".

Anna laughed a little, though,

"Dear, there's something you want to talk to me about. And, this is very important, dear. Especially, for the future of your late grandfather's company".

The man began to catch the direction of the mother's conversation, he felt he would get unpleasant news.

"Yes, then what does that have to do with Ay ma?".

Anna drew her seat closer, she stroked the hand of the only son.

"Mama knows, now the grandfather's company is having fund problems. We also talked about this a month ago. But, you're still procrastinating because of your wife".

The woman was silent for a moment, she was seen several times swallowing her saliva.

"Mom know, this must be hard for you baby. But as you know, we really don't have any other choice. Marry Resti, that way we can save the company of our grandfather and family".

Ayud seemed stunned to hear Anna's strange request. That man even had to digest perfectly all the meaning of his mother's words. After being silent for a long time, Ayud opened his voice.

"Ma, haven't you said no to this marriage many times?. Ay's got a wife Ma, Ay should be able to keep Rachel feeling. How could you possibly give this absurd choice to me?".

Anna sighed, the woman seemed to be thinking of something.

"Well, this isn't for your own sake. But, all things at stake here. The future of the company, the future of our family. Everyone, it's in your hands, baby. Please think carefully about this Ay".

Ayud looked down, the man felt very desperate.

"All right, but then let's talk to Rachel. If he agrees, this marriage will be done. But, mama don't get angry if it happens otherwise".

Anna nodded, there was a huge hatred in her heart every time she heard the name of the girl.

"Dear, my mom will wait for your decision. But I hope you don't disappoint my mom, baby. You know, this mom is old. Anytime can be called a power".

Anna smiled in silence, realizing how sneaky the choice of words she had just spoken was. Soon, the man said goodbye and went into his room. Anna held the man's hand, and,

"Well, let's eat first. Mama has prepared your favorite meal. Mama's gonna be sad if Ay doesn't eat it".

Ayud smiled flatly,

"Yes, I'll have Rachel eat together".

The woman nodded obediently, but in her heart she was busy cursing the son-in-law with harsh words that were too cruel to write.

In the room..

The girl was humming a little while cleaning herself up. Suddenly, he felt nauseous and his body was weak. The girl immediately finished her bath, then checked the calendar.

He muttered softly, stroking his still flat stomach.

"It's been almost 2 weeks baby, keep growing well there. My mom will always take care of you and give you all the best".

Suddenly, the door to his room opened. Suddenly, the girl turned her head and gasped at the arrival of the man. She immediately covered her open clothes to the stomach, and approached her husband.

The man's face looked tense, he sat down while lightly kneeling his forehead. Rachel approached the man, and,

The man did not answer, he continued to massage his head which hurt. Because the question was not responded to, Rachel decided to take HP and play with the tiny object.

Ayud did not say anything, the man threw himself down and slept still wearing his work clothes. Rachel glanced at the man at a glance, then continued playing with her gadget

...Rachel POV's...

We finally stayed home again. I feel grateful, of course. But, it seems like our current relationship is just a formality. There is no more love in it.

I deliberately chose to play with my gadget instead of asking her all sorts of questions. After all for what, now he's completely foreign in my eyes.

Men who do not have a stand, men who are always affected by the circumstances around. A man who is too easy to believe, no matter what others say.

I should be able to return my true position in this house. Someday, I will definitely make those two chatty old fellows leave this house.

Half an hour later, Ayud woke up from his sleep. The man looked at his wife, the woman was still engrossed in her gadgets.

"Why didn't you wake me up, Ra?".

The woman glanced at her husband, glimpsing,

"What do you do, aren't you tired?".

Ayud sighed,

"Your attitude has completely changed Ra. You're not the Rachel I used to know, you're a complete stranger to me".

The man got up and took a towel to take a bath. About 15 minutes later, he was already wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. That guy looks very handsome. Rachel approached her husband,

"are you angry, baby?. Come on, I'm sorry okay?. Now, let's get down. For God's sake, I'm really hungry right now".

The man looked at Rachel meaningfully. The girl who was being noticed looked indifferent, and let her go. Ayud called out his wife's name, and she turned around while playing the end of her hair.

He looked at Ayud while yawning widely.

"What's wrong, come on. I'm starving right now.

Ayud looked at his wife, Sayu,

"There's something I want to talk to you about. Can we postpone dinner for at least 10 minutes?".

Rachel nodded and approached her husband,

"Alright, what?".

Ayud's chest was sore, there was not the slightest softness in the tone of the wife's speech. The girl who used to always look down in front of him, is now a mature woman who does not even need anyone.

"Ra, grandfather's company is in financial trouble. Not much, but quite influential. We need the funds to get everything back in order".

Rachel frowned, she felt that what she would hear this time would not be pleasant. The woman was trying to keep looking indifferent, that was all that could make her still have self-esteem.

"Mama asked me to marry Resti, only in this way can we save grandfather's company".

Ayud spoke softly, and the words successfully made Rachel round her eyes. He could not believe what he had just heard.

"Married?".

Ayud nodded slowly. He knew it would be hard to accept with reason. But what other choice does he have?. And again, that fact made his chest feel tight.

Rachel looked at the man, she hated the weak attitude that her husband had. Always make decisions at Anna's request.

"There is no other way but to get married?. Don't you feel like this is just your mama's scheming to get us separated?".

The girl let out a frustrated sigh, she hoped that this man in front of her could be a bit of a stern person. Not a person who is too easily swayed, swayed by circumstances.

"I've been looking for another way it's Ra, and the reality is nonexistent. You know, I could never be loyal to a woman. And even if I'm loyal, it's purely with you".

Ayud looked in the other direction, he did not want the tears that would soon fall witnessed by his wife.

"Trust me, I don't want this ridiculous wedding at all. I hope you understand Ra, my current position is really difficult. I've never shared with you, it's because I just want to share my happiness with you".

The woman sighed, it seemed like she really had no choice now. Especially with the facts that have just been presented by the man.

"Well, if that's what you have to do. But remember, don't blame me for doing the same. You know, where's the woman who wants honey?".

Ayud shed two tears for the first time in front of his wife. His heart was completely crushed, as if it shattered into a formless mess again.

"Ra, please don't do this to me. I wouldn't be able to if I had to without you".

"That means you're selfish Ay, you can do all that then why can't I?".

Rachel blissfully, she felt really fed up with this man-man attitude in front of her. He feels sad to have to experience something like this, but he is not in a position to determine anything.

"Here you go, I'll just go to bed".

Ayud looked at his wife, wiping her wet eyes.

"Aren't we going to eat Ra?. Let's eat first, it's just rest".

The girl did not speak her husband's words. He lay down and closed his eyes. Tears of pain flowed slowly from his cheeks.

As the saying goes, bad people come from good people who are always persecuted. That's how Rachel, inevitably she had to be evil because circumstances had forced her to do it all.
