GPA CHAPTER XLVI - In Slander - The

"I don't know ma, it's not me who did it".

Rachel kneels while crying. Meanwhile, Anna clucked her waist staring at the girl sharply.

"I'm not accusing you, don't misunderstand me. But, why is this thing in your bag?. Strange as well, is it true that this thing can walk on its own?".

Anna was holding a golden necklace in her hand, while looking intently at the girl. Kim, who was eating was curious. He approached both, though,

"What's the matter ma?. Papa heard from earlier you guys kept noisy".

Anna sighed, she showed the gold necklace to her husband.

"This is pa, Mama was going to go with the office mothers. Uh, mama's necklace is missing. After mama's looking around, I met her in her bag".

Kim looked at the kneeling girl, too,

"Are you the culprit?, though?,

The girl shook her head, then she looked up. Her eyes were swollen from crying.

"Not Pa, I didn't do it. I also don't know why my mama's necklace could be in my bag. I really didn't do it".

Kim clenched his teeth, he,

"The evidence is clear this way, and you're still evasive. All right, we'll decide after Ayud gets home from the office. For now, let's just say it's done".

Kim took his wife's hand to enter the room, the middle-aged woman crying.

"Mama is really dear with this necklace pa. Maybe he wanted to steal it from my mom".

Kim embraces the wife's body, glancing at Rachel. The girl was still down, crying a mouthful.

A few hours later, Ayud came home from his office. He called his wife, but there was no answer. Anna, quickly approached her son.

"Darling, just got home?. Must be tired, here let mama carry your bag. Change clothes first, that's a shower. We eat together".

The young man circulated his gaze, while slightly loosening his tie.

"Rachel where is ma?. From now on, Ay didn't see it".

Anna nodded,

"Ah, most also lazy in the room. Understand, she's the big lady in this house".

Anna turned her eyes to the kitchen, though,

"Bi Sri, quickly prepare dinner for us. Bring here all the side dishes we've cooked".

The old woman nodded, then immediately prepared dinner. He mumbled slowly,

"When did the big madam help me cook huh?".

Meanwhile, Ayud goes into his room looking for the whereabouts of his wife. He called the girl's name, but there was no answer. Moments later, the woman was pulled out of the bathroom. Her body was soaked.

"Why are you, baby?, why is it so wet?".

Ayud stroked the wife's cheek with a worried look. The girl smiled, though,

"So it was told.. I mean, I just finished taking a shower".

Ayud scrunched his forehead,

"Mandi?, why not immediately change clothes dear?. If you get sick, change your clothes first. I'm waiting under ya, mommy and dad are waiting for us for dinner".

The girl nodded then immediately went back into the bathroom. The girl stood for a moment under the shower, not her desire to play water and wet like this.

A moment ago..

Anna approached Rachel who was helping Sri cook in the kitchen. He called the girl, though,

"Rachel", though",

The girl looked up, though,

"Yes ma, what's wrong?".

Anna played her tongue and sighed,

"Please clean the bathroom, can you, baby?. Bi Sri is busy again, what's wrong with you to help mama once".

The girl smiled, she let go of her apron.

"Okay mom, I'll do it".

Anna smiled triumphantly, then immediately lounged in the guest seat. By 7pm, he called the girl and told her to clean up quickly. Because, Ayud will be home soon.

Rachel had not had time to take a bath, the husband had gone home and called her name. And that's what's happening, actually. The girl immediately gave up her daydream, and cleaned herself up.

Half an hour later, he went down to the dining room. Anna muttered softly,

"Just take a shower all day".

The girl leaned over, then sat down next to her husband. His hands are a bit pale, due to being exposed to toilet cleaning fluid for too long. Ayud took his wife's hand,

Rachel smiled, then immediately withdrew her hand slowly. Anna looked at him sharply,

"Ah no, it's nothing. It was because I played water for too long".

Ayud chuckled, he gently stroked the wife's hair.

"So happy to play water?, later I make a private swimming pool for you, baby. For me, if you're happy, I'll be happy too".

The girl smiled, Anna cleared her throat.

"Here you go, let's eat first. Don't get too spoiled by your wife Ay, afraid to visit".

Ayud looked at his mother in wonder,

"What does mama mean?".

Anna smiled, then took the rice and put it on her husband's plate.

"It's nothing, mama just reminded me".

Rachel also scooped the rice onto her husband's plate, then put some side dishes. The man smiled, then whispered softly.

"Thank you darling".

Anna was sick of seeing it, she took the side dish so violently that it made an inviting sound. Kim, look at his wife. Protesting for his wife's attitude, Anna smiled.

After the meal, Rachel peeled the fruit for her husband and father-in-law. They sit in the living room. Anna sipped her tea and looked at Ayud.

"Well, I have something to tell you. Before, I was so sorry that my mom's words made you unhappy".

Ayud looked at the middle-aged woman while bribing pieces of fruit into her mouth,

"What's the matter?",

Anna sighed, her face suddenly sad. Rachel who saw it could only look down, she knew the next second something unpleasant would happen.

"You know Ay, mom loves all of your jewelry. This is a precious gift from your late grandmother. But, this afternoon this precious mama's necklace was gone".

Anna sobbed slowly, very skilled at acting.

"Mama didn't accuse your wife, but when she was looking for your necklace, it was in your wife's bag. Mama understands that she also wants this luxury item, considering how her life used to be".

He glanced sharply at Rachel while smiling cynically. Then, he quickly changed his face in front of Ayud.

"Mama just ask you for help, admonish your wife Ay. Don't let it, this bad habit gets carried away when he's outside".

Ayud looked at his wife,

"What did mom say?.

The girl was silent, she did not know what to say. Ayud became upset over it, and,

"I asked, is it true what Mom said?.

The girl shook her head, though,

"No Ay, I didn't do it. I also don't know why your mama's necklace could be in my bag".

Ayud sighed,

"Ah, that's ridiculous. If you want jewelry, or whatever it is, just say it. I can buy it for you. But don't take what isn't yours. That's really embarrassing".

The man sighed again, then ruffled his hair.

"I'm sorry my wife, ma, I'll counsel her well. I represent her, apologize to mom and dad".

Anna smiled, her heart feeling very happy.

"Dear, it's okay. The important thing is, don't do anything like this again. This is my precious mama's necklace. It cannot be bought with money".

Ayud smiled and took his wife's hand,

"Okay ma, pa, we'll excuse you. I'm really sorry for this".

Ayud bowed respectfully, followed by Rachel. After the two left, Anna wiped away her tears.

"Ah, really upsetting. Mama had to really cry for this s*alan act".

Kim smiled, though,

"Now, our goal will be achieved. Take it easy, papa will make the girl's life hell. That's acceptable, a selfless girl like her".

The two husbands smiled, then headed to their rooms to rest.
