IPK CHAPTER LXVII - Last, Happy Ending - More

Ayud held with trembling divorce papers in his hands. His chest rumbled, his feelings completely uncharacteristic.

At the same time, Anna who had just come out of her room approached Ayud. The middle-aged woman smiled, though,

"What's wrong, honey?, let's have dinner. Where's your wife, take her out to eat".

Ayud was bluffing his teeth,

"It's all mama's fault. If it wasn't for my mom forcing me to marry Resti this wouldn't have happened. I don't want a divorce with Rachel, never will".

The man was angry, and called his young wife by name. Moments later, Resti came crashing from inside the room.

"What's up, brother?. Calling people is like fighting. My mom never did this to me".

The young girl snorted in annoyance, her potent nature crumbled again. Ayud stared intently at the girl and snapped at her.

"From today on, you're no longer my wife. I divorced you in front of my mom and in front of God. Marrying you was a mistake, I regret doing it".

Anna was shocked to hear the son's words,

"Hey, honey, calm yourself down. Marriage is not something that can be made into a toy. What God has brought together cannot be divorced from man. You know that, right?".

Ayud riled, he felt very wrong now. On the one hand, she loves Rachel. But, on the other hand, grandfather's company is also important for his family. The man raised his voice, and,

"I don't care anymore. Anyway I don't want this s*alan girl to be my wife anymore. Fuck all this, I can't afford to live pretending anymore. I'm sick of you all, now get out of my sight".

Resti cried, the girl slammed into Anna's arms. Kim, who had just finished taking a bath, approached them because he heard the commotion.

"What is this, why are you fussing like a cat fighting over food?".

Anna glanced at Ayud, though,

"Ask your son pa, I don't know what demon possessed him. He wants to divorce Resti, just because the woman doesn't know herself".

Kim took a breath, the middle-aged man's face turned hard.

"You realize what you're talking about, don't you?. Are you crazy or what?. Are you ready to live so loose and beg on the streets?. Cih, you useless son of a bitch".

Kim left Ayud and stroked his daughter-in-law slowly

"Dear, don't listen to your g*la's husband. Come here, let's eat first. Papa is sure, this is all just a misunderstanding".

Resti nodded and immediately followed Kim's footsteps. Kim gestured with her eyes, for Anna to immediately persuade her son.

"Dear, stop. If he wants a divorce, do it. He only has this house, right?. Once we have a lot of money, we really don't need him".

Ayud took a heavy breath, though,

"Whatever happens, I'll never divorce Rachel. If you want me to keep Resti, please persuade Rachel not to ask for a divorce from me. Choose one, or none at all".

Anna nodded quickly, grabbing the son's hand.

"Well baby, mom promised to do it easily. You know, no, a woman sulks just because she's thirsty for attention. Already, just hand over all this business to mama".

Ayud looked at Anna flatly, then immediately passed away going somewhere.

In room..

Rachel was humming happily while watching the photo of the nephew in her HP. The girl stroked her stomach slowly,

"Later after Adek was born, adek also must be a blanket brother yes son".

He continued to invite his prospective baby to chat, before a loud knock was heard on the door of his room. The girl placed her HP on the bed, then opened the door. As soon as he saw Anna, the look on his face turned flat.

"What's wrong?".

Anna folded her hands to her chest, she stepped in.

"Ah, if it wasn't for Ayud I really wouldn't want to come in here. Never mind, just stay well in your place and don't do much. Don't make a mess here".

Rachel stopped her in-laws who looked so shameless.

"Hey, who said you could go into this room?. And one more thing, I want to stay where I am or I want anything, that's my business. Don't forget, tomorrow you all have to get out of here".

Anna looked at the girl sharply, she clucked fed up. The middle-aged woman's face implied an extremely deep hatred.

"Basar girl don't know herself. Maybe you managed to seduce my father so he gave me this house in your name. But you think you can cover this as long as it's from me?".

Rachel sighed impatiently,

"Prove whatever you want to prove, old lady. All I know is, tomorrow you and the others should've left my house by point. Already, get out there".

The girl violently pushed Anna's body out of her room. But, Anna gripped the periphery of the door firmly.

"Hey girl g*la, listen I haven't finished talking to you yet. It hurts so bad, you selfless woman".

Rachel pushed the woman back hard. He fell down, and his knees were bleeding.

"But I'm done with you. Go that far away".

Ayud, who happened to have finished bathing, saw his mother run and approached Rachel. The man looked angry, then slapped Rachel in the face.

"What have you done to Mom?. Where's your manners?. You can be mad at me, but don't treat your mom this rudely".

Rachel held onto her cheek that had just been slapped, then looked at the man with a wounded look.

"Yet you slapped me without asking first what really happened?. All right, sign the divorce papers and leave this house br*ngsek".

He slammed the door and locked it from the inside. Kim and Resti who had just finished eating came up to them and asked what had happened.

Ayud again sighed, he knocked loudly on the girl's room. But there's no answer there. He began to despair and kicked the door hard.

Shortly after, the door can be opened by force and looks Rachel is staring at her HP flat. Ayud glanced at his parents and Resti. Signal them to leave immediately.

He approached the girl, and sat down next to her.

"Ra, can we talk about this again?. Okay, I'm sorry for hurting you but I'm just being filthy. Humans can do it, and you've done it too".

The girl did not budge, she stared at the flat screen of her phone. Ayud was upset, he grabbed the phone and slammed it on the floor. Rachel got up and picked up the scattered cell phone.

"Rachel, let's talk. You listen, let's talk".

The girl tried to restart her phone, then connect someone.

"Sir, can you come now?. I need your help".

"All right, thank you sir".

He placed the tiny, cracked object on the table and went into the bathroom. Ayud was really upset to see the behavior of the girl.

"Hey Rachel, however I am still your husband and will forever be. I'm entitled to you, and all that you have. No law can oppose that".

The girl was silent, she came out of the bathroom and laid herself on the bed. He closed his eyes, not caring that Ayud was still there.

Ayud sighed in frustration, he was completely out of his mind to face the indifference that Rachel showed him.

A few minutes later...

Albert came with a member of the police. They go into the house and look for Rachel. Kim, Anna and Resti who were sitting in the living room were shocked to see the arrival of those people.

"What is this, sir?".

Kim asked shortly after the two men entered the house. Albert smiled, smiling,

"I came to bring this father, because I got reports of domestic violence in this family. Then, reports of people disturbing the comfort of the homeowner".

Anna was upset to hear it, she immediately ran small to the girl's room whose door was broken. At that moment, Rachel was engrossed in staring at the screen of her phone filled with cracks.

"What the fuck are you, lady j*lang. You report it to the police and say we're bullies, you j*lang".

The girl caught a glimpse of Anna, then got up and met her guest. He smiled kindly at Albert, as if no one else was there.

"Hi Al, good night. Thank you for coming here tonight. Who is this, by the way?".

Albert smiled, he held the girl's shoulder.

"This is my om, Mr. Rizaldi. He can help you with the problems you're currently facing Ra".

The girl smiled again, then looked cynically at Kim, Anna and Resti.

"I'm asking you to please, make sure tomorrow they leave my house soon. I was really bothered by their presence".

Resti immediately picks up her phone, the girl contacts her parents without Rachel's knowledge. Shortly after, a luxury sedan stopped in front of the house.

Rachel looked out for a moment, the girl sighed while covering her mouth with one hand. It's going to be a long, boring night.

Mr. Elijah and Ms. Rini were seen entering the house in a hurry. They glanced at Rachel and Albert who were standing, then Rini's mom hugged her son.

"You okay, aren't you Res?".

The girl nodded, and hugged her mother's body. Elijah's coming to Rachel,

"You're my son's honey, huh?. From anywhere, it is clear that Resti is superior to you. Then, what is your problem now j*lang?. You know who I am, you know who I'm dealing with?".

Rachel sighed, she felt so fed up now.

"Hey, old man who says you're rich?. Then, do you think I'm afraid just because you're rich?. Look, this is my home and I have every right to do whatever I want".

The girl again clucked in annoyance, she glanced at Mr. Rizaldi at a glance.

"Sir, please include in the report the words that this old man just said. I don't accept saying it like that, it hurt my self-esteem. My good name is getting tainted, right?".

The girl made a face, then pretended to wipe her tears. Mr. Rizaldi who was silent from earlier, approached Elijah sir.

"Sorry sir, I don't think you have any authority here. Your family should leave this house immediately. Bring all your stuff, don't make this trouble runyam added".

Mr. Elijah sighed in annoyance,

"Resti, Rini, let's get out of this place. And you're Kim, Anna, forget about the investment fund I promised you yesterday. I married my son to your son, not to be humiliated like this".

Mr. Elijah rushed out of the house, followed by Ms. Rini and Resti. The girl cried and searched for her husband, but the man did not know where. Rachel looked at her two in-laws,

"Now, it's your turn. Apparently, I can't wait until morning to get rid of you disgusting cockroaches. Then, where's the br*ngsek's man. Get out of here now".

Rachel glanced at Albert and Mr. Rizaldi.

"I leave this business to you two. Make sure they get out of here".

The two nodded and urged Anna and Kim to leave immediately. Meanwhile, Ayud was staring at his wedding photo with Rachel in the room. Albert approached the man,

"Sir, you should leave this house immediately. Sister Rachel doesn't want your presence here anymore. Please, don't complicate things".

Ayud looked at Albert, the man's eyes red.

"Okay, maybe it's time I left Rachel. Titip my wife yes sir, take good care of her. Say my apologies to him. I'll go first".

The man clutched their wedding photo to his chest, then immediately drove his car and left the place.

In room...

Rachel looked at herself in front of the mirror, her smile slowly forming. At that moment, Albert approached her,

"Ra, I've got Ayud's extended family to leave this house. In fact, now there's nobody but the two of us".

The girl smiled, hugging Albert.

"Thank you Al, thank you for staying with me until the end. Thank you for always being there for me, thank you".

The girl's tears suddenly flowed, she wiped them away quickly.

"Perhaps, I'll take your mom and Carene to stay here Al. Then, raising my baby alone. Ah, sad ending, isn't it?".

The man smiled, he let go of their embrace and clasped Rachel's hand.

"For the umpteenth time, let me take the place of Ayud sir to make you happy Ra. I'll accept everything, your past, everything".

Albert looked back into the girl's eyes,

"Is there a chance for me to fill that position Ra?".

Rachel smiled, she nodded and hugged the body of her best friend tightly.

Maybe it is true, to forget the pain of a loss must be by finding new people and loving them wholeheartedly.
