You're Not my Type.

Very hard Elif tried to forget what was the reason why my father ignored him. As much as possible, Elif stretched out his chest, accepted it, shook it, realizing with all his heart that his father did not love him.

"Lif, Lif, Elif!" Sonya was trembling with Elif's shoulder because Elif was like a body without a soul.

Elif just laughed softly.

There was a faint sound of two women laughing when the door to Teddy's room was reopened and another female staff member walked in.

"No need to sit!" Teddy's orders, make the staff stand at his feet. "I'll ask you one question, answer with Yes or No. Understood?"

The staff nodded.

"Do you like Mr. Ardan?"

"Yes sir, I-" Teddy immediately raised his index finger hinting not to need to explain why he liked Ardan.

"Did you ever wish you could be with Mr. Ardan?"

"I-yes sir." The woman replied timidly.

"Now answer with reason. If you were given the chance to be with Mr. Ardan for one day, what would you do?"

"Bringing Mr. Ardan along with my parents to KUA is of course Sir!"

"Okay, you can get back to work now." Teddy shook his hand.

"Did I answer wrong, sir?"

"No. Just get out of my room now. Hurry along!"

Huh there really is no hope!

Teddy moved from his chair, swinging his footsteps towards the window facing Ardan's study and the desk currently occupied by two women, Sonya and Elif.

Of the entire female staff he had already called, only Sonya and Elif were deliberately not called. It was impossible to ask Sonya, the woman asked too much. Marsha knows Sonya.

It was impossible for Elif too, he was too brave and asked more questions than Sonya. But, he was the only staff who most obviously disliked Ardan even though Ardan was his immediate superior.

Teddy watched from behind the window curtain as he kept his brain spinning what he should do.

Teddy called someone immediately. Someone who is very skilled and already very Teddy believes to track and find out the background to the medical history of someone he wants.

Elif washed her hands in the sink after completing a nature call urging her entrails to be removed immediately, as three female staff walked in. Elif knows them from Sonya who once reminded and told Elif that in this building there is a trio who are very expert gossip. They are Nanda, Ayu and Kinan.

Fortunately Elif who works as a secretary of the CEO does not need to meet with the trio who work on marketing. So they don't know what Elif is, their new CEO secretary.

"I'm sure Mr. Ardan is telling Mr. Teddy to find him a girlfriend" said Ayu, while rubbing a mauve-colored lip cream brush on his lips.

"But for what? For Mr. Ardan, it does not seem to need to use the selection of everything, right? Just point out that all women are also immediately willing to take off their clothes." said Kinan, laughing followed by his two friends.

"But if for a woman as sexy as Marsha, their relationship could end, why is Mr Teddy looking for a replacement only in the class of company staff?" this time Nanda asked.

Elif washes all the old cookware tonight without saying much. He did not even set music to accompany her to cook dinner for Ardan as usual. Too many people are stirring up his mind today. About her father, about Adit, about Mother, about her ideals, about her work, even about the insignificant chatter of Ayu, Kinan and Nanda this afternoon in the toilet.

Ardan came out of his room, still wearing a pajama towel after taking a shower. The scene had already become commonplace for Elif. He was no longer impressed by Ardan's masculine appearance.

"Hey, why are you looking at me like that?" ask Ardan to Elif.

But the one being asked was silent. Not answering. Not responding to anything.

"ELIVE!"

"Yes Sir!" Elif flinched in shock at Ardan's voice calling out to him was as powerful as pulling him from another world.

"Don't daydream while working with me!" Ardan's Word.

"Sorry Sir."

Ardan thawed while combing his half-wet hair with his fingers. Handsome face, high athletic body, and currently only wearing a pajama towel should be very stunning and make the hearts of the girls pounding. Not with Elif.

"I'm hungry." said Ardan.

Elif immediately moved to prepare the dinner that he had cooked to the dining table, where Ardan had sat in one of his chairs.

Teddy watched Elif from where he sat in the living room, on a sofa with a laptop open on the table. A laptop screen that displays the results of a report about a person's background.

"Ted, have you found what I asked for?" asked Ardan while scooping out his dinner.

"Still I investigate sir."

"I don't want to fail anyway."

"Good Sir."

"And you're Elif, what makes you daydream? Do you have a problem?"

"Can't I have a problem?"

"Why do you always answer questions with questions? What's your problem?"

"Nothing."

"Sit down, eat with me."

"No way." Elif frowned.

Half slamming the spoon on the plate, Ardan grinned resentfully at Elif. His secretary was really testing his patience. But again the scent of Elif's body made Ardan's brain command himself to calm down. It's a deadly opium. Makes Ardan a non-pussy figure.

It's fair that Elif has always been brave on you Sir, you can always control your emotions on Elif. I'm not sure what kind of scent you feel from the girl, but whatever scent it is is really very good for you. Looks like I really found what you were looking for.

"Did you poison my food so you wouldn't eat with me?"

Elif sounded a rude snort. "Sorry sir, if I intend to poison you, I've done it since yesterday."

"Then why don't you eat with me?"

"I just don't want to, sir. Do I always have to be willing to all your orders?"

"Teddy never refused to do everything I said."

"Sorry sir, I'm not Mr. Teddy."

"Are you afraid I'm having a crush on you? Cih, take it easy you're not my type."

"You're not my type either, sir."

Ardan laughed at it. This perfect lifetime, this was the first time a girl who was not very beautiful, said an Ardan Mahesa Demir was not her type.

"Then what is your type? Like Gavin?"

"Yes." Yeah." Elif answered him just like that. Not flippancy. Elif did say it deliberately to make Ardan realize that not everyone likes him. That there are others who are much better than him.

"You hear it's Ted?" Ardan chuckles. "You have to swallow disappointment, you're not Gavin's type either. She's got a fiance, don't you know?" Ardan continued eating.

Elif did not answer. He chose to be quiet instead of wasting energy responding to his boss who always had a thousand ways to upset him. Both verbal and non verbal.

Whatever you want to say, honorable Mr. Ardan. I was too lazy today to serve you. Huh! If it wasn't for this big paycheck, if only Dad didn't need a quick start to the operation, I would have resigned since knowing you were my boss!
