HATE Before LOVE

HATE Before LOVE
The Unexpected Meeting.

Someone touched his shoulder, Elif gasped, raising his head which since hanging up the phone Dimas he had hidden behind the knee he was bending upwards. Her wet, puffy eyes and makeup the rest of the make up work messy everywhere, her monstrous appearance coupled with the megar hair that supports her horror appearance.

But the man who touched his shoulder smiled, giving a navy-colored handkerchief to Elif.

Elif blinked, wiping his eyes. The man before him was tall and dressed very neatly, he still held out his handkerchief. "Sorry, who?" Elif shifted her seat as the man moved to join her in the same chair.

"You're Elif, right?" ask the man.

Elif was increasingly confused by the look of his forehead that was getting wrinkled. "Huh-yes? You who?"

Instead of answering, the man chuckled sweetly.

"Wait," Elif confirmed his sitting position. "Sir Gavin?" Both of his eyes widened as he realized who the figure before him was.

The man nodded still with his sweet smile. "You didn't recognize me for this haircut and suit, did you?"

Elif chuckled. The next second he felt so embarrassed, so embarrassed! Gavin is his first love that he has never revealed to anyone, including Yura and Mona. The man was his senior, their first meeting was at ospek. At that time Gavin's appearance was very different. Gondrong hair, thin mustache, and torn jeans like a flagship outfit.

Being the only senior to help Elif and not making fun of her megar hair, Gavin instead helps Elif to tie and braid Elif's megar hair. That was when Elif fell in love with his senior. But he was too shy and knew himself not to indulge his feelings.

"What's up, brother?" nervousness approached him. God, why should I meet him when my appearance and circumstances are so messed up...

"I'm good. But I see you don't seem to?"

Elif just smiled wryly. "How can Kaka recognize me?"

"How can I forget the girl I braided her hair on ospek's day?"

They laugh together.

"What's going on? Why are you crying alone here? Maybe I can help."

Elif shook his head, "So family matters."

Gavin nodded in understanding. Family matters were something that he could not simply enter into, moreover Gavin and Elif were not close friends. Just know each other as seniors and juniors.

"Alright," Gavin stood up, and he put his handkerchief on the chair. "I want to actually talk a lot. There weren't many college friends I could meet. Meeting you like this is like nostalgia."

Elif smiled shyly. Is it true that Gavin feels nostalgic about meeting her? Ah why does Elif feel so moved.

"Maybe next time we can talk a lot at the right time."

Elif nodded.

"Oh yeah, here," Gavin gave Elif his business card. "Maybe you need me to braid your hair again, don't hesitate to call me. Okay?" Gavin looked at Elif seriously. He really wanted to help Elif.

Gavin arrives at his apartment, loosening the tie ties and taking off the suit. He stepped in the dim light, towards the kitchen opening the refrigerator. He picked up a can of soft drink and downed it.

This afternoon he had just finished his meeting with the head of the hospital operating under the auspices of the company where he worked. He did not expect to see the girl again. He runs into Elif, initially unaware that the girl he is walking with is an Elif until he realizes the girl's hair reminds him of the junior girl he braids his hair with.

I don't know what moves the heart, then the brain and finally the legs move following the girl from behind. The girl was truly an Elif. Elifes.

He heard all the conversations Elif had with his sister and mother. And really, it made his heart wince. He knows Elif as an active student and also achievers. He is intelligent and quick to learn. He did not understand why Elif had still not graduated even though they were only two years apart. Whatever it is, there must be a reason.

Maybe the economy as he heard it. Ah, he was riled up by something like this, why education became something that is difficult to achieve for people whose economic conditions are less fortunate. Those who have the potential are forced to drown and not be seen because education becomes something expensive and difficult.

Gavin recalled that Ardan's secretary was preparing all interests and documents to remove his position, Sonya would resign soon, he said, job vacancy information has been opened even though it has not been opened to the public The job vacancy is still open to the internal part, if there are 'insiders' who may have recommendations of prospective workers. They will continue to conduct job interviews and undergo several tests until the CEO determines who is accepted and not.

Gavin really hoped Elif would contact him soon, hoping that the girl would not hesitate to ask him for help. Maybe Elif does not meet one of the requirements that must be a graduate strata one with a minimum GPA that has been determined by his boss, but if Elif contacts him and passes the interview and test stage, then the, he will help Elif to get a chance by talking to the boss who is also his best friend.

"You know, I really really really want to help you to stay in college.Hiks." Yura said in tears.

"Don't cry Ra, who stopped me, why are you crying so much." Elif rubbed Yura's back.

"That's because we love you, Elif" Yura said.

"Oh yeah, speaking of us, where's Mona? Aren't you waiting for me?"

Yura let go of her embrace, wiping the tears and liquid coming out of her nose with a tissue.

"Oh that, hmmm... Mona to the bathroom, kebelet she said." Yura became nervous all of a sudden.

Elif knew Yura was hiding something, the girl would become nervous no matter what the situation and condition was as she hid something.

"Yura..." Elif lowered her voice.

"Hmmm... Mona.. huh, she saw Dimas, then followed him."

"Geez!" Elif glaring. "Hopefully Mona didn't really beat him up."

Yura looked doubtful to Elif's expectations.

"Are Mona really going to beat him up?"

Yura nodded, "Looking at how she had expressed herself when she saw Dimas, perhaps at this moment...."

"Geez! Geez! Come on, we gotta find Mona. Don't let Mona get in trouble for this." Elif pulled Yura's hand to quickly move. "Oh my God, this is why I hesitate to tell you about Dimas, especially Mona."

On the other side of the campus building, the side that almost never visited students. The side that became an empty place of the magnificent campus environment, Dimas was already knocked down with bruises on his face.

"I'll sue you, Mona!" threaten Dimas while wiping the blood coming out of his nose.

Mona thaws, "Oh huh? Tell that to your father, you think I don't know what you're doing as a son that his father is always proud of."

Mona reached into the pocket of her bag that was already lying around, picked up a plain brown envelope then took out its contents and threw it in front of Dimas' face. Those are the Dimas picture sheets of all the 'rogue' activities that Dimas did.

"Being harassing juniors, getting drunk, taking drugs, and lastly sleeping with a stupid girl at the hotel. You know what's the dumbest? The hotel belongs to my family."

Dimas' throat was completely sealed with all the pictures of him that were taken very clearly. His father would never forgive him if he knew of his behavior outside the house. His father will not hesitate to throw him into prison what else in the photo there is Dimas who is sniffing one of the drugs in the form of white powder.

"Don't let your demands backfire on yourself" Mona threatened.

"Aarrgghhh! Goddamnit! What the hell do you want!? Why do you hate me so much?" Shouting Dimas.

"Never approach Elif again or try to contact him again what else to expect another chance."

"You're what Elif is? Her bodyguard?"

"Sadly, a person like you would not understand the meaning of friendship, sincerity and compassion. Elif is my best friend, whoever hurts her will deal with me."

"By spying on me?"

"Since I never believed in your dirty forked tongue, so I decided to investigate you, it turns out that my guess is, you are nothing more than trash. I didn't tell Elif because I appreciated his decision to give you a second chance to correct your mistake, but once bajing*n was still bajing*n!"

Mona leaned over to pick up her bag and looked back at Dimas with a look of disgust. "Just keep your pictures, I still have a lot of copies." Then with steady steps Mona left Dimas clenching his hand holding back the anger.
