My secretary.

Elif's eyes were still clearly visible when he arrived at Ardan's apartment that morning to do his usual morning duties, preparing breakfast and warm bath water dripped essential oil. That boss is a lot of his wants. After opening all the curtains in the apartment, the morning sun came in very freely. Elif went to the door of the only bedroom there.

"Why see me so cynical?" asked Ardan who was aware of the unfriendly gaze from his secretary.

"No Sir. Enjoy your breakfast, Sir. Excuse me."

"Breakfast with me." Ardan's Order.

"I Sir?"

"Who else is here besides you and me? Breakfast with me until Teddy comes. We're going to the office together."

"I've had breakfast sir."

"I know you always have breakfast in the office pantry. Don't argue, just have breakfast now. Or maybe you added poison?"

Oh, if only I could add your edible poison!

Lazy arguing with Ardan who obviously will never stop harassing him, Elif finally obeyed Ardan's orders to have breakfast with him that morning.

Elif eats with no taste. Not like when Ardan saw him eating steak that time. Her puffy eyes explained all that the girl must have spent her night crying. Ardan will of course find out through Teddy, what happened when Teddy drove him home last night.

"A lot of breakfast, you look skinny."

"Sorry Mr. Teddy, can I get off at the front stop there." Elif finally broke the silence.

"I just don't want to stir up gossip if anyone sees me coming with you, sir."

"What rumors will arise? You're my secretary, I'm your boss. What's so weird? Every day Teddy comes with me, there's never any gossip."

"Go on Ted!" Ardan's Word.

The car arrived at the skyscraper, an officer immediately approached and opened the car door, but he was surprised because what was seen was not Ardan, but Elif.

"Sir Ardan over there." said Elif slowly.

The officer ran quickly around the back of the car to the right passenger door until he was almost missed so fast he ran, afraid Ardan was angry because he had to wait a few seconds. His face panicked, he bent over 90 degrees when Ardan got out of the car.

Elif shook his head, all the employees in this company are afraid of Ardan, a small mistake that is actually not their fault can be the end of his career if Ardan's mood is not good. That's how the figure of Ardan is known. Cold and without tolerance. Until sometimes Elif confused himself, why Ardan never minded the brave attitude of Elif. Ardan stepped elegantly while buttoning his suit and then took off his sunglasses in a very natural style. Elif and Teddy followed her from behind straight to the elevator. "Elif?" Gavin's voice broke the silence of the three people who were standing waiting for the elevator door to open.

"You forgot my secretary elif." Ardan emphasized the ownership description in his voice. Making the twinkle of Elif's eyes turn into a stern look at his boss.

"Yes I know, it's just that this is the first time I've seen you come not just with Teddy."

"Yes, from the day onwards you have to get used to seeing me come not just with Teddy."

"Do you have a lunch date with your friends?" Gavin asked Elif.

"There is no Brother. I used to have lunch at the office, order online." replied Elif. Ah her voice even became soft when she spoke to Gavin.

Why isn't her voice that soft when she talks to me? I'm the boss! Grunts Ardan in his heart.

"Don't keep going in the office, Lif. If the occasional break meal out, many recommendations for good and cheap places to eat nearby. Let's get that refreshing."

"Yes Brother. I'll take Sonya's sister."

"What about lunch with me?"

"Can't!" Suddenly, Ardan answered. Making the Elif instantly cast a sharp glare and dislike at the extremely handsome and annoyingly god-level man.

"Lho why? It's time to rest, can dong Elif have lunch outside. Poor work from morning till night."

"Elif's going to have lunch with me."

"Huh?" Elif stared with a look of disbelief.

Teddy glanced, but remained silent like a statue.

"Oh so, well, maybe next time we can have lunch together huh" Gavin told Elif with a charming smile that made Elif forget the land.

"Yes Brother.eh Sir."

Gavin lowered his body, his face drew closer to Elif's face and whispered, "You must be patient, you work to be a secretary to someone who is very workaholic."

It was not a pair of Ardan's eyes that saw what Gavin was doing through the reflection of the elevator wall with a huff. Teddy noticed the change in face to his boss.

"Have you found out who's going to be my partner for Marsha tonight?" ask Ardan on the sidelines of a job discussion with Teddy.

Teddy's guess is right, something's wrong with the boss. Ever since seeing how close the interaction between Elif and Gavin was this morning, Ardan's attitude was from being more annoying.
