HATE Before LOVE

HATE Before LOVE
Found you.

Ciiitt!

Again Teddy stepped on the brake pedal until it made friction tires and asphalt cause noise and traces. Ardan got out of the car without closing the door again. His long legs ran quickly towards the elevator, but alas, the small monitor screen above the iron box door still showed a number 7 with an arrow pointing upwards. As well as the other elevators, all the arrows headed to the top floor.

"Damn!" For Ardan. Not thinking of waiting, Ardan headed straight for the emergency stairs. Two steps at once he climbed it to his apartment unit on the twelfth floor. While continuing to catch his breath so that his footsteps remained strong carried him up. Imagining Elif in his apartment makes the dozens of steps he has to face easier. Although several times he almost slipped, but did not dampen his speed.

I don't know how long it would take a man who loves a woman to save her on the twelfth floor, which obviously doesn't take long, Ardan had already reached the twelfth floor and exited the emergency staircase area. He rushed as fast as Edward Cullen to his apartment. His language stopped for a moment when he saw the bloody footprints along the corridor leading to his apartment door. Her belief was getting stronger, the woman she saw on the cctv tape was Elif. After punching the number of the automatic key code on the door of his apartment unit, Ardan immediately saw the bloody footprints like a dragged road, and the trail led to the kitchen.

"Elif?" Call Ardan. "Elyph? Are you here?"

"Ar-Ardan?"

Elif's voice sounded softly in response to Ardan's call. Quickly Ardan headed straight for the kitchen, he saw Elif's feet under the kitchen table. The girl is hiding.

"Defuse me..." Slowly Ardan bowed and crouched down where Elif was hiding. Ardan's heart is so broken. The one who was hiding down there was really an Elif wrapped in fear on his face. The sweat had filled his extremely pale face, the soles of his feet were severely injured, his body was trembling, and what made Ardan cautious was, Elif was holding a kitchen knife.

"Elif.it's me... Ardan..." Slowly Ardan reached out to take the knife from Elif's hand.

"Ardan... Ardan..." Elif said softly, but his eyes did not look at Ardan. His eyes were just staring blankly unguided. "Ardan... Ardan..." Say again.

Ardan is not strong. He could not see an Elif like this. His heart ached seeing Elif not only physically injured.

"Elif.it's me... Ardans. I'm here..."

Elif looked at him blankly.

Slowly, Ardan touched Elif's hand about to take the knife from Elif's trembling grasp, but unexpectedly, beyond belief, ardan's touch though slowly made Elif surprised and spontaneously moved his knife until it sliced Ardan's arm deep enough.

"Armghh!" Peek Ardan.

Ardan's voice in pain turned out to make Elif re-awakened at the fact he was. Like being pulled out of an empty box, Elif's eyes were no longer empty, he saw Ardan. There was a feeling of relief when he saw the man's face before him, but he was immediately frightened to see blood seeping on Ardan's shirt sleeve with so much, he said, the tear on Ardan's shirt sleeve due to a knife incision made Elif immediately throw the knife away from them.

"Ar-ardan? Y-you're bleeding? Holy hooch! What the hell am I doing? I hurt you! I hurt you! Ak-"

"Sshhhh. It's okay, I'm okay." The Elif's body was trembling. Tears are breaking. He grew even more panicked as the blood that was seeping was now dripping onto the floor.

"Sir Ardan?" Teddy's voice sounded.

"Tied! We're in the kitchen!" Answer Ardan. There were quick footsteps moving and approaching the kitchen.

"What a-Good! What's wrong with your hands, sir?" Teddy's eyes rounded surprised to see what happened to Ardan, but calmly Ardan asked Teddy to focus on Elif first.

"Hurry and call doctor Fadil now, have him come in five minutes! Otherwise, I'll have my practice license revoked."

"Well Sir!" Teddy immediately pulled out his phone and contacted Fadil, a doctor and cousin of Ardan who can take higher education to become a doctor to get a license for practice because of the help of Ardan.

Elif was sobbing, he was scared. "I hurt you. I hurt you..."

"Elif. ssshhh. It just scratched a little bit" Ardan said very gently. He kept trying to get Elif out from under that table. "Let's get out of this table, yeah, we're sitting on the couch, we're gonna clean your feet, man,"

Elif shook his head quickly.

"Look, your leg is badly hurt. Must be cleaned immediately."

"I'm afraid." said Elif interrupted his sobs. "Later to find me!"

Ardan's heart again paled upon hearing the Elif's fear of Yanuar.

"Dad must have been looking for me everywhere, Dad must have reported me to the police because I threw a vase of flowers at his head. Dad must know I'm here. That's why I held the knife.. I was afraid Dad would..." Not continuing his words, Elif cried again.

Ardan immediately stretched out his other hand to slowly pull the Elif out from under there and hugged him tightly. Clutching it over the chest of the field gives it a sense of security. Eventually the Elif could be brought out from under that table. With Teddy's help, they take Elif to the bathroom.

Teddy knew what Ardan was going to do. With Elif in Ardan's arms, though one of his hands was wounded and bleeding, Ardan kept holding Elif, letting the woman roll around his arms around Ardan's shoulders.

Teddy turned on the cold water on the shower hose, then Ardan sat on the edge of the bathtub.

"Elif, let's clean up the wound on your foot, okay?"

Elif nodded. But don't take his arms off Ardan's shoulder.

As soon as the cold water touched the wound on the sole of Elif's foot, he cried out in pain. His embrace is getting tighter.

Teddy took the water hose away later, seeing first how Elif and Ardan were.

"It hurts! Beware!" Whimpering.

Then Ardan nodded his head to Teddy, a sign he told Teddy to continue cleaning the soles of Elif's feet which again made Elif scream in pain.

After finishing cleaning the wound on Elif's leg, Teddy took a clean towel and wrapped it on both Elif's feet. After that Ardan lifted Elif out of the bathroom to lay him down comfortably on the sofa.

"Sir, your hands." said Teddy quietly. Now Ardan's sleeve is full of blood.

"I'm fine. Where's Fadil? Why haven't you come yet?"

Suddenly the bell sounded. Teddy saw who was coming. It turned out that the long awaited her life. Fadil arrives still in his white coat who forgot he let go when Teddy alerted Ardan's threat.

"What's this, Ar?" ask Fadil.

"Why are you taking so long?" Pissed Ardan.

Fadil looked at his watch, "Five minutes right, I ran off like... Gosh, what's wrong with your arm? Is that blood? Let me see!" Fadil was surprised to realize the difference in Ardan's shirt sleeve color between the right and the left.

"I'll see you later, please treat the wound on the soles of his feet first." He looked at Elif.

Fadil looked even more surprised when he saw the wound on the sole of Elif's foot.

"I had to sew it up, the soles of his feet were torn quite deep" said Fadil. "What's going on?" fadil asked Elif, whom Elif only replied with reluctance to tell stories.

"You don't need to know, do what to do to treat the wound" replied Ardan.

"All right, miss, I'm gonna inject antibiotics."

Elif nodded.

Ardan opened his bag, occasionally glancing at Ardan's arm. "You better not stand in front of me, you're making me fail to focus from the wound on this Miss."

"God! What kind of doctor can you fail to focus on!"

"Change your clothes first, and wrap your wounds in thick cloth for a moment! There quick!"

Teddy shakes. In this situation alone, the two cousins still had time to not get along.

***

After doctor Fadil finished treating the wound on the sole of Elif's foot and gave him pain medication, the girl was finally asleep. Fadil now turns to the wound on Ardan's arm.

The man had already changed his shirt with a short-sleeved shirt, and a towel wrapped around his arm.

"What happened to your arm?" asked Fadil while slowly opening the towel.

"Just scratched a little bit" replied Ardan. Without him noticing, his face was pale and actually his head was slightly dizzy.

"Geez!" Pekik Fadil's. "What scratched a little bit?! It's deep enough! Must stitch! Well, you see your face is pale!"

"Sir Ardan," Call Teddy.

"Your injuries are even more serious than that Miss! Ted, get an ambulance now, we need to get Ardan to the hospital!"

"No! Are you not sane?! I won't leave Elif again!"

"But you need some stitches, and a blood transfusion!"

"There's no blood supply in your practice?"

"Nothing, is it! You think my practice is a red cross!"

"Then just ask the hospital to bring what is needed here!"

"God! Why are you so stubborn!"

"Just do! Or you'll lose your license forever!"

Fadil immediately contacted the hospital to the relevant department to bring anything needed to perform blood transfusions on Ardan in the apartment.

Meanwhile, Ardan threw himself next to the sleeping Elif with a tired face and a remnant of fear still trapped there.

"I'll find you eventually." Whisper Ardan, and kiss Elif's forehead.
