HATE Before LOVE

HATE Before LOVE
Soft and Fresh Sweet Aroma.

The sound of the birds in the morning to put each other apart, the chickens crowed to brighten the atmosphere every morning. The sky was so bright, there was not the slightest hint of gray clouds in sight.

Elif flicked the window curtain of his room after bathing, still with a towel wrapped around his wet long hair. He opened the window of the room, inhaling the clean morning air. His eyes closed for a moment, whispering hope in his heart and ensuring that everything would be beautiful in time.

It's widening the chest, accepting his way of life in the hope that his heart would not be a hindrance for him to prove to himself that he is capable of being what his heart wants without having to be a burden to others. That he was able even though my father never supported him. But he still has his mother and sister.

Elif let out a long sigh, opened his eyes, smiled to cover up his sadness. Ah, again the bottom of his left eye always twitches slowly every time he refrains from crying. Every time he felt sad but forced himself to smile and convince himself that he was okay, and the twitching under his eyes will always be a reminder that it might be possible that Elif was too forced to not let out her tears again.

Elif shook her head slowly, dismissing the feeling of melow that was overshadowing her this morning. He turned on the fan, sat down in front of him and took off the towel that wrapped his hair. Elifs have long, thick black hair and severe curls. No matter how much his efforts to make his hair neat and orderly never succeeded, as if his hair had its own desires and always against the will of Elif.

Although Elif tied her up, it would not hide her super thick hair and curls like a lion. Not infrequently Elif spends more time in front of the mirror to tie hair to dipepol it with special hair rubber than dressing up. She rarely wears makeup on her face. Most standard he only uses aloe vera gel, sunscreen and lip balm.

After nearly thirty minutes of drying her hair with half-dry results, Elif started to get dressed. We have class at 9 a.m. He rushed to get ready and then came out of his room, helped his mother prepare breakfast as usual, listened to the father who always praised Adit, hung high expectations on Adit, and he was very happy, which always ends by comparing himself to Adit.

"Well, why the hell is Dad-" Adit wanted to protest with Yanuar's always unfair attitude to his brother, but Elif immediately kicked Adit's leg slowly from under the dining table, then shook his head slowly.

"Dad, Mother, I'm leaving." said Elif.

"Well, aren't you in class at 9, son? Why is 7 and a half hours gone? Where you going?" asked Zehra gently.

"I made a pact with Mona and Yura, Mom. We want final check material for group assignment percentage."

"Oh so, take the bus or ojek online depart?"

"Just be it, Mom." Elif got up close to Zehra to kiss her hand, then approached Yanuar as well to kiss her hand.

"Yes, let's go Adit let me take you with me." said Dad right after Elif let go of his hand.

"What the hell Well, Adit will have an invitation from school, soon also come, mending Father between Elif Brother only." Reject Adit while standing up.

"Where are you going?" yanuar asked as if he did not hear Adit's words to escort Elif alone.

"Thin!" answer Adit accordingly.

Elif didn't expect anything. He soon walked out of the house.

The shiny black luxury sedan stops with very soft brakes and fits right at the crossroads just as the traffic light turns red. Teddy checked the route of the road they were going to take to get to the location, making sure there were no traffic jams, if any, if any, Teddy will soon find another way or be forced to contact someone to make their way smooth. Whatever Teddy's gonna do.

Right next to his car, a bus also stopped. Ardan looked towards a girl sitting by the window right in front of his eyes. Something caught his attention, namely the long black hair of curls blown by the wind until out the window of the bus. The corner of Ardan's lips moved up, forming a faint smile on his lips looking at the girl seemingly unaware her hair was blocking the sight of the person sitting behind her.

For some reason, Ardan opened the window of his car, wanting to tell the girl to tie her hair but something stopped her from talking. Something that greets his sense of smell. Something sweet-scented soft and fresh, a scent that Ardan had never felt before, a scent that instantly made all the nerves and muscles in Ardan's body very relaxed. Is this the therapeutic scent Teddy just put in his car?

"Ted, did you put on a therapeutic scent?" ask Ardan.

"No sir."

"Are you wearing a new perfume?"

"Not really, sir."

So soothing. Inner talk.

"Ted, do you know what this smell is?"

"Sorry Sir?"

"Didn't you smell this?"

"No sir."

"Are you sine? This smell is very clear. Try opening your window."

Teddy according though did not understand what scent Ardan meant. The window had been opened Teddy did not smell anything other than the smell of pollution from the disposal of vehicles waiting for the lights to turn green.

"You kissed her? This sweet scent?"

Sweet scent? Since when did Mr Ardan like the smell of pollution from vehicle exhaust? Teddy.

"Well, you kissed her, didn't you?"

"Sorry sir, but I don't smell anything you mean."

"Not done with your smell! See a doctor right away, something's wrong with your nose."

"Good Sir." Teddy nodded as he closed the window. While Ardan was still enjoying the rest of the seconds rolling from the traffic lights while inhaling in that soft and fresh sweet scent.

"What time are we meeting?"

"Four eight, sir."

"Hmm." Ardan looked at his fancy watch. There's still an hour left before his meeting with the client. "We went to the homeware store first. I want to find a scent like this."

The red light moved to the green. All vehicles are on the move, including Ardan's luxury black sedan. Ardan closed the window. Not willing to lose the scent earlier, it felt like all the burdens of his mind just vanished, there was only calmness.

"I have to find the exact same therapeutic scent as before."

"Good Sir."

Elif felt her hair was completely dry, she started to raise both her hands, reaching for all the strands of her hair even that were coming out of the window to be tied up with the hair rubber, she said, although completely unable to hide the curls of her frenzied hair like a lion.

The bus began to move after waiting for the length of the red light, right next to it a luxurious black sedan also moved.

Elif sighed softly, staring dreamily and prayerfully at the sedan that had moved first. If one day he succeeds, becomes someone who succeeds with his own business and can take his parents for a walk in a luxury vehicle, will his father be proud of him? Did you finally not compare yourself to anyone else? Will you finally love him like you love Adit?

Elif sighed again, slowly, yet heavily.

You can do it, Elif! You can make mom and dad proud of you! You can definitely! You just need to be patient a little more.
