Penelope couldn't smile after visiting Quinn at their grandfather's house. Penelope was a little suspicious, although Quinn was always smiling and cheerful as a child, she did not look the same as Quinn whom Penelope knew.
Penelope had intended to keep Bastien busy with her and slowly make Quinn neglected, but the opposite was true. Quinn is always noticed by Bastien. Whenever Quinn was silent, Bastien would invite her to chat together.
"What kind of magic has Quinn instilled on grandfather?" he bit his fingernails agitated and panicked at the same time. Penelope kept pacing back and forth in her room.
"What makes you happy with Quinn?" It was clear in Penelope's eyes that Bastien looked both happy and proud of the useless Quinn.
Tok tok tok tok
Penelope surprise. He hurriedly sat down on the chair then tidied his hair, "Yes, please come in."
The figure of Killian appeared, the young man with skin as pale as a corpse into the guest room. "Sister, sorry today I can't take you for a walk. I have to buy a new sword before entering the academy. I hope you don't get tired of waiting for me to be done with my business."
I don't care about every little thing you do.
Penelope smiled as she nodded in understanding. "Of course not, my dear sister. I will patiently wait for you. Is your condition improving?" he asked while looking anxiously at his cousin's sister.
Killian nodded steadily, not wanting to make Penelope worry about him, "I've improved greatly, sis. Don't feel guilty anymore. I'm fine."
"Thank God, I'm glad to hear it."
"Then I go first. Friends are waiting."
"Yes, be careful."
Because of his failed plan to sink Killian by accusing Quinn, after returning from the port of Savero immediately berated him. Maybe Savero was angry just that night because Killian immediately had a high fever and his fear increased. But Penelope was embarrassed.
"Tck! I don't know I have to—"
"Your Majesty." Penelope turned her head to the door of the room, a waiter looking at her with a panicked face. "The Crown Prince came here, Your Majesty."
"You sure?!" Penelope stood up from the chair with her mouth open. Why did the Ethereal Prince come here again? does he want to come to Quinn again? "This is my chance."
"Let him in. I'll be ready for a minute."
Penelope became an angel of both appearance and nature. Penelope dressed up as pretty as possible so she wouldn't lose another chance to get close to Raiden. During this time Penelope had captivated many men with just a smile and a piece of sympathy.
"Welcome, Your Highness the Crown Prince."
Raiden did not hesitate to show his charming smile at Vincent Van Marchetti's only daughter. Penelope walked very gracefully, greeted politely, and invited Raiden in to enjoy tea with her in the Shuvillian family garden.
Raiden did not refuse. He followed Penelope's wishes. The handsome young man in one look even knew that Penelope was interested in him. "Is Quinn not home?"
Penelope doesn't like it when Raiden asks the bully girl to him. Even though he and Quinn are brothers, but that doesn't mean they're that close. Then Penelope thought of something. "What has Quinn himself not told you? he now chooses to live with our grandfather, Grand Duke Bastien Lombardia."
"really?"
Penelope pretended to be surprised, "How could she not tell her own lover about it? isn't he too cold?" just at the beginning, the only son of King Kaisen was immediately given a somewhat reply
Raiden keeps following his game. Raiden chuckled, then said "No, no. The two of us have no further relationship than being friends, even though I like it too."
"Eh really? I think you're in a relationship because you two are so close and spend a lot of time together." Penelope's heart is certainly flowery, she's getting excited. The sky was still on his side.
"so. I'm a little disappointed that she didn't tell me before, but I know she must have her own reasons."
"Um yes, I can feel your disappointment, Your Majesty. My cousin's sister likes it sometimes."
Inwardly, Raiden was indeed a bit disappointed but for other matters. Why was Quinn suddenly so ordinary when she walked away from him? I mean, why hasn't Quinn come to him since yesterday? usually Quinn always clings to him and continues to protect him so that no girl can get close to Raiden.
He used to ignore Quinn even though indirectly and Lightly. It feels like it's being pushed.
"Oh yeah, did something bad happen to Quinn?"
Why does he keep asking about Quinn?
Penelope put on her thoughtful expression while slightly pursing her lips, "Um, I don't think so. Sorry, Your Grace. I just stayed yesterday so I don't really know."
Raiden put down his tea cup and sat down with his chin on, smiling at the blonde girl until she made the object misbehave, her cheeks giving off a red tinge. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Since then I've been uncomfortable because you continue to use polite language."
"Yes?"
"Speak casually to me, it will make us more comfortable while chatting. All that's done is Quinn." Raiden said casually.
Just like that, Penelope almost lost her heart. If only Quinn were to talk casually, does that mean Raiden wants to be close to me too? thought Penelope enthusiastically. The girl looked shyly nodding. "Yes, well, Your Majesty."
"Call my name, Penelope." Raiden started it.
Penelope's heart was pounding more and more until her body temperature was pumped up. Now his face was already blushing perfectly hearing Raiden's soft voice calling out his name. "Why your face? are you having a fever?" Raiden nearly touched Penelope's forehead, but the girl herself dodged for the good of her heart. "S-I'm fine, Your Majesty."
Raiden is a little whimpering. "I told you to just call my name, right?"
"Ah, yes... R-Raiden."
"Good."
Quinn watched the exhilarating scene from the hallway window. "Did they know each other and betray me from now on? exactly the day after Raiden declared his love for me? it's so funny." Quinn laughed when she saw him.
A servant appeared in the hallway, he was surprised that Quinn had come without anyone to welcome. "Lady, have you been home long?"
"No. Is Dad home?"
The maid shook her head in a sign that the person Quinn was looking for was not home. "He's been gone since early in the morning, Lady. I don't know the purpose."
"I'll wait in my room."
"Good, Lady. I'll prepare a snack for you." Quinn held the servant's hand. The girl whispered softly, "Don't tell anyone I'm home. You just need to call me when I'm home, okay?"
"B-well, Lady."
Raiden. He looked at the building he was behind. The hallway had been empty, there was only an ordinary servant passing through it. However, Raiden's feelings said that there was Quinn's presence there.
Penelope tilted her head in confusion. "What's up, Raiden?" tanyanya watched the window.
"No." Raiden bowed for a while, he cursed himself, thinking that Quinn was infatuated with him but look now who keeps thinking about that weak girl? Raiden was ashamed of himself. "I heard a rumor that Killian and Quinn's relationship as brothers did not get along very well. Really so?"
Penelope nodded slowly, "That's how. Killian doesn't like Quinn, who is always smiling in every situation. Quinn was too relaxed and never thought of anything other than playing around with her friends. That's according to Killian."
"Ben—"
"Sister!" killian from afar called out to Penelope. "What's that face of the wall doing here? it's a bitch." Savero's son muttered that Penelope only replied with a wave of her hand without any intention of leaving Raiden.
Outraged, Killian enters the house and has no intention of separating the two.
"You?!"
Killian gasped in surprise to see Quinn sitting on the front room couch enjoying her favorite lavender tea. Quinn smiled wryly, looking at his sister kindly "Welcome back, Killian."
"What are you doing here?"
"What's weird? this is my house too." Quinn sat down while crossing her arms in front of her chest. Judging by Killian's facial features, Quinn knew that she didn't like her beloved sister being close to Raiden, the man she hated so much for no apparent reason. "I heard you went for a walk with Penelope yesterday. Hows it? what's fun?"
Killian scrunched up her face annoyed. To him Quinn's question sounded like a mockery. "You feel better? if you've known that much about your trauma, you should be able to resist. I didn't expect you to be such an indecisive fool just to please someone."
The two young men's hands were clenched tightly. "Don't interfere with my business!" his jolt was not given by Quinn. Killian stood tall before Quinn who was still leisurely sitting quietly, "If you have no business here you better leave right now. You decided to leave here yourself, didn't you? why did you come back? haha are you sorry?" said Quinn's only sister in a soft tone.
Quinn deliberately kept smiling, knowing that Killian was easily irritated by Quinn's bright smile. "Sorry, I'm not here because I really want to go back. I'm here to talk to you."
"Rushan? you're talking like an adult now, huh? I'm sure it's just an insignificant affair as usual." Killian's heartless sneer.
"Oh, Killian. Since when did you switch professions to become a psychic? it's great." quinn's ledek back. That sarcastic tone was able to make Killian freeze on the spot.
Who is standing in front of me? why has he changed so much? he did not hesitate to return my words and looked at me undaunted. Is this the Quinn I know? is he really my brother? all the questions piled up in the brain of that handsome-looking young man in a split second.
Penelope and Raiden decided to go inside after the weather became more blistering outside.
Both Penelope and the Crown Prince were shocked to see the presence of Quinn who had been there since when.
"Quinn? since when did you come?" asked Penelope in shock.
Quinn and Killian simultaneously turned their eyes towards the entrance. "Hi, Penelope, Raiden~" Quinn greeted in a pampered tone. "Where did you two end up? I didn't know you two were gone. It's so good you're all familiar."
Killian was silent. Quinn immediately changed her attitude as soon as Penelope and Raiden walked into the house. Her sweet and innocent side re-emerged, "She's crazy?" lirih Killian astonished.
Raiden breathed a sigh of relief, it turned out that his instincts were right and not just a delusion. "That's right, there's no way I like this girl" she said inwardly. Raiden stroked Quinn's head gently, "I came here looking for you. I didn't know you'd moved into the Grand Duke's house."
"Sorry, I'm in a hurry. But thank God there's Penelope here, isn't there? at least someone accompanied you to chat." Quinn was spoiled in front of Raiden when Penelope was next to him.
Penelope's jaw is hardened. Quinn's remarks seemed to state that Penelope was only the second option for Raiden because the Quinn he was looking for was not there. That pisses him off.
"Ahaha that's right. But, Quinn, isn't your attitude bad? you let Raiden be so confused. Are you that busy you can't tell her you've moved?" asked Penelope in an admonishing tone.
Quinn lost her smile instantly. "Raiden's? so you're also very familiar with the Prince huh?"
Raiden grinned faintly at the expression of disbelief Quinn showed. "Calm Quinn. He's not trying to take me from you. We're just friends." Raiden lightly. He paid no attention to Penelope's surprised look.
He just thinks I'm a friend for now. But look at it later, Raiden will be mine.
Quinn was honestly disgusted to hear the explanation given by the bluish-white girly youth to her. Foolish with the relationship between the two of them, Quinn performs the charade just so as not to draw too much attention to Raiden's changing attitude.
"Why are you all gathered here?"
Savero, the owner of the house frowned in surprise when he saw the young people gathered in the front room.
Savero entered through the back door because he had just hunted in the forest behind his house to relieve his stress. The man focused on looking at his youngest daughter who was already in the house "Quinn? you back?"
Quinn nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, I want to discuss something with Dad. Do you have a minute for me?"
"... Yeah, you wanna talk now?"
"That's great." Quinn left, looking at Raiden "Sorry, Raiden. I'll go first."
Killian's eyes continued to follow where the object was going. "What does Quinn really want to talk about?"
