I Will Be The New Me

I Will Be The New Me
CHAPTRE 5

"What the fuck is this...?" Raiden glanced at the two living beings who interrupted his perfect opportunity to express feelings for Quinn.

Both Penelope and Killian are somewhat confused by Quinn's cheerful attitude that once re-emerged. What confused the two Quinn brothers was the ups and downs of the mood of the eldest daughter of Savero, she seemed not to know when she would become moody or cheerful. That drastic change made Killian a little anxious.

Penelope walked with a bow full of elegance. She commented on a sweet smile that she aimed to look for face. His eyes could not be separated from the handsome figure of Raiden who was still looking at Quinn.

The shoulder-blonde girl smiled softly, clamped her skirt and saluted Raiden "I Penelope Van Marchetti salute the Ethereal Kingdom Star, His Highness Crown Prince Sorrentine."

Yes, with such courtesy and elegance, any male noble would be enamored with his butterfly of the social life of the noblewomen.

Quinn took Penelope to sit in her place, but Quinn herself chose to stand up. "Your Majesty Raiden, I'm sorry, I have to leave immediately. There are many things I want to do. Penelope can accompany you for a while."

Quinn knew very well that his actions were so rude to the guest of honor, the Ethereal Kingdom's Crown Prince was speechless to make.

Quinn shows his uncaring side to Raiden's love statement. The girl with the bluish eyes never once looked at Raiden again. He was busy with his own activities he asked the waiter who brought his suitcase to get out immediately because the train was ready.

Raiden's sharp jaw hardened "Did he just ignore me? Wh why? That's not possible. Who does she think I am?" His heart continued to deny the unpleasant events that had just happened to him. That's so embarrassing. He had lowered his self-esteem just to express feelings but Quinn was heartily ignoring him? Raiden's charm cannot be denied.

Killian held onto her single brother's arm, the large suitcase left Killian wondering. "Where are you going? Why are you carrying a suitcase?"

Quinn brushed Killian's hand off rather roughly. Quinn was still clad in his changed demeanor with a smile he used to show off to the rest of the world. "Sorry, sister. I'm in a big hurry. I gotta get going. I'll explain later."

Raiden bowed deeply, he would feel even more annoyed if he saw that tiny shoulder now. His mood immediately deteriorated and not to mention indirectly Quinn put him in a situation that made him inevitably have to keep the 'face' he was a perfect crown prince in the presence of Penelope and Killian.

Penelope played her fingers, groggy began to gnaw on the strength of her legs. Fortunately, he was in a sitting position.

His cheeks were red, occasionally he looked away because he was too embarrassed to keep eye contact "Y-Your Majesty.."

"Yes?" Raiden keeps his hospitality at the highest level even though his heart is now being bullied by Quinn.

"Do you usually come here?"

"Hm, not really. I'll come here if there's any free time."

"Oh so..."

"Lady Penelope, do you live with Count Savero?"

"A-ah no. I just happened to stay here."

Killian did not blink staring at Raiden continuously until it made the object feel uncomfortable "K-Killian? Is there anything you want to tell me? You've been glaring at me that way." Raiden put on a reticence that managed to close his dislike for Quinn's sister who always mocked him.

Killian rotated both of his eyeballs. That's how Killian is, he doesn't hesitate to show his dislike in front of people he blatantly hates.

"What business did you come here for?"

"I came to have a chat with Quinn, but I seemed to have come at a bad time" Raiden replied simply.

"You've seen for yourself he's gone. Why don't you go home now? the person you're going to is leaving you here, there's no point in you waiting here any longer."

Penelope was shocked to hear Killian's extremely rude and disrespectful manner of speaking. "Killians! You can't treat a guest like that!" Penelope Jerks. The girl then bowed apologetically representing her cousin's sister "I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I spoiled him too much as a big brother so he acted out of bounds. Please forgive me." He got wrapped up on the floor.

The royal heir immediately restrained Penelope's shoulder and asked her to sit back on the sofa. "It's okay. I'm used to the attitude anyway. He's a fun little brother." Raiden then walked up from the sofa, "My business is done here, I'm going home now. Thank you for following me so well."

The look on Raiden's face instantly changed as he turned around. His expression was filled with disdain, anger at being humiliated, and still continued to question Quinn's reason for ignoring him.

"Tsk. Quinn.." grow frustrated.

Penelope lost her chance to get close to Raiden because of Killian's mistake. His gaze looked sad and it was caught by Killian's sharp eyes "Sister, are you mad at me?"

"No."

"You're so sniffy on me."

Penelope snorted and looked up at Killian "Killian. You can't talk so impolitely. He is a guest, let alone his noble status is higher than ours. You not only tarnish your good name but also your family's good name. Know it? The Crown Prince may not show his offence but that doesn't change the fact that you just didn't appreciate it. Not as a Prince but as a guest, Killian. You always nagged Quinn about being a dignified woman and understanding the Kramas system, but look what you did? You didn't do what you put pressure on others." Penelope's string of grunts continued to be voiced at length without pause. The blonde-haired girl didn't care if Killian was angry with her.

The youngest son of Count Savero blinked his eyes, he gaped at Penelope's babble. It's true, but it's rare for a beautiful, graceful girl to grumble.

Penelope stared at the gates of the Shuvillian mansion which no longer featured the palace chariot anymore "my chance was lost..." Inner Penelope was dissatisfied.

Killian glanced as Penelope sighed riled up "Huh.commoning turned out to be quite draining huh," he murmured.

"But you saw it for yourself, didn't you? He looks pretty stupid and not at all assertive."

"Killian you can't underestimate anyone."

"I'm just telling you the truth."

"KILLIANS..." Penelope puts emphasis on her calling. He took a deep breath, "Huft."

Quinn's younger brother noticed something unusual when Penelope flicked her hair back to put some wind on her neck.

"wait. Brother, what marks are behind your neck?"

A rash— errata, will be more suitable to be called like a new bruise because the red color really contrasts with the original color of the skin.

Penelope hurriedly covered it again with "No, this is nothing."

"What does brother mean? Here, I see again."

"Killians." The young man gasped in shock as Penelope brushed his hand a little hard, and then Penelope simply replied, "I was careless until I fell down and nape me hit the edge of the sofa."

"O-oh so..." Killian did not dare to fight Penelope when the girl was in a bad mood.

"I'll take a break for a while. We can go where you want to show me after that."

"I understand brother."

Killian frowned seeing Aston carrying several mail envelopes outside the mansion. That wide step made Killian wonder, "Uncle, you seem to be in a hurry. Want me to help you?"

Aston smiled "It's okay, Young Master. I can send it myself."

"Why are there so many letters?" The young man in black approached Savero's personal butler, "What is an invitation letter?"

"This is a letter that His Majesty Savero wants to send to the Lombard court, Young Master."

"To grandpa?"

"Ah, so you haven't heard it? Lady Quinn from today decided to stay with the Grand Duke and would not return here until she felt she wanted to return."

Deg

Killian. Quinn did not say anything at all, Quinn's countenance did not even describe wanting to say goodbye to him.

Yes, Bastien's house is not far away. But Killian just didn't expect Quinn to make that decision because he was the one who cared for Savero the most, making sure his father remained in good health and well.

Every time Quinn was about to come out, he would visit the goods Savero for only one minute, to pay attention to the state of Savero.

As Aston's eyebrows dropped, he was also deeply saddened by Quinn's sudden decision "He said the rights were entirely with Lady and that he would appreciate what made her feel better. Maybe by staying with the Grand Duke he'll be calmer."

Griiits

Killian's two hands clenched increasingly stronger. The veil on his back clearly piled out "He is really...!" Snarled.

"His Majesty Savero let Lady Quinn go, at least while trying this way that might reduce Lady Quinn's own depression rate. The envelope below contains not a letter, but the medicine that Lady left in her room drawer."

"I'll drop off mail— but, I promised Penelope to go somewhere else." Killian was in a dilemma thinking about her two older sisters. Quinn will most likely not return so Killian will have to think of a new way of watching over her brother.

Finn today didn't come because Savero asked for it after considering Quinn's circumstances.

"Argh! So annoying!" Erang Killian was upset at the circumstances.

Aston was speechless, he just smiled as he patted Killian's shoulder gently and left to deliver the letter.

Penelope is currently sleeping on a guest bed that is well prepared for her. Daydreaming while staring at the roof of the room is a natural thing that almost everyone does when being depressed.

Penelope let out a riled breath "I didn't know that my body had started to become immune to the medicine." He then stroked the nape that still feels pain when touched.

"If judging from the situation, Prince Sorrentine would only come occasionally when he wanted to meet with Quinn. How can I see him again?" Penelope's lip line lifted "I'm sure Quinn found my message."

"I'll go near the port. Good bye."

Quinn squeezed the small paper in his hand until it was formless tangled, the word neatly strung together by the black ink was also hard to read anymore.

Quinn had read Penelope's sentence nearly fifty times, "what was the purpose of her writing it? He wants to frame me? There's no way she wants to harm Killian who's been blinded by her fake affection, right? Why would he harm someone already under his control."

"Huh, if this keeps up I'm really going to get depressed."

"Should I come? It has nothing to do with me."

"If he really wants to leave, why is he having trouble staying?"

Quinn looked out the window "the word 'good-bye' was dizzying."

He continued muttering, asking questions and answering them himself.

The beautiful girl in black stripes got off the car to buy her mother's favorite white Lily while alive and will take it as an offering to Sirena's tomb.

Seeing that there were so many different types of fresh flowers and their fragrant aroma made his mind calm for a moment. Enjoying one of the natural beauties seems to be an option he needs to consider.

"Quinn? I didn't expect we'd meet here, long time no see!"

Quinn turned to the source of the voice where there was a handsome young man walking up to her. Her hair color is like an elderly and my blue iris reminds Quinn that she used to have a playmate "Izek?"

His name was Izeqiel de Sylvestria. He was the first son of Marquess Sylvestria. According to Quinn the name Izeqiel was so impractical to mention that he gave the nickname 'Izek' to shorten his mention.

Quinn and Izeqiel used to play together. Since they turned 15, the two had not taken much time to chat. Izeqiel is busy with school and lessons she must soon master in order to become her father's successor. While Quinn has begun to expand her relationship, she also begins to get to know Raiden and gives up everything she has just for the idol.

Awkwardly? Yes, Quinn was embarrassed enough to face off against Izeqiel. Quinn devotes all his attention only to Raiden and communicates with Izeqiel as necessary even occasionally Quinn deliberately does not reply to Izeqiel's letter who only wants to ask the news. Their friendship is strained because Quinn accidentally broke it off.

"Izek, what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for my sister. I had to take her to the dormitory again, but she ran away as soon as her suitcases were loaded into the train."

"Ah, so. To which school did Iryssa study?"

"She is now attending Madam Suzette's Daughter's Personality School."

"What's? She herself wants to go to school there?"

"Ahahaha that's it, but it seems like she's lazy to go to school so she's not excited to go back to her dorm."

The Princess Personality School was a special school of young female nobles. The school is the number one princess school supported directly by the kingdom of its development.

It was not like a school or an academy in general. In this school the young women will be taught in earnest all the rules and procedures of Krama as an elegant and dignified female noble starting from the base to the core.

For example, good manners and manners on the dining table, holding a tea cup, the correct position when sitting. They will also learn how to laugh, walk, talk, reply to speech, and other basic attitudes.

Not only that, they also learn how to dance, talk through hand fan codes, choose the right dress, and much more.

It's a strict school, isn't it? Every day you will always be arranged and every day you will continue to repeat the same activities without pause. All hours are full of exercise schedules. And it's going to be 2 years before you can actually make your debut in social circles.

Even so, not all noble children enter the school because many are not strong with extraordinary discipline awake.

"Iryssa is great. Since long ago he was very consistent with his dreams huh," Quinn praised with a proud smile like that of an older brother, making Izeqiel impressed with Quinn's attitude of "Y-yes that's how she is."

Iryssa has long since learned the basics of being an elegant and graceful woman herself. He was even able to behave better than Quinn in public.

Even Iryssa is predicted to be the flower of the upper class, just like the nickname received by his late mother.

"You want to make a pilgrimage to your mother's grave?"

"Yes, that's it." Quinn immediately paid the interest she chose "I'll tell Iryssa soon if I meet her on the street. I'm going first. See you, Izek."

Izeqiel could not move from his place. His hands were raised to hold Quinn back from leaving but his legs were like they had just been glued in glue with super strong glue.

"I missed you..." It is undeniable, Izeqiel does not have as much time leeway as before. Now she can leave because her sister suddenly ran away.

"There's another one from Quinn, did I just make a mistake? He doesn't smile as much as he usually does." Izeqiel noticed Shuvillian's eagle-fringed chariot "How yes.he looked like a different person, his aura really..."

But then he understood that as long as they did not meet again, his age was no longer the same. A person's nature can also change, not just age. "She's like she's grown into a grown woman" Izeqiel smiled faintly.

Quinn then stopped by the pastry shop again to take her to Sirena's grave as well. "Grandfather might worry about me, but it's okay. I'll just be a minute."

He chose as fast as the lightning of the cake which he thought was good and delicious. He then told the coachman "You can wait for me there. I'll look for some more stuff."

The coachman seemed hesitant and could not bear to let Quinn walk without anyone's protection "I will not be long. You can watch over me from there."

"...alright, Lady."

The sweet-faced girl deliberately took small steps, enjoying the atmosphere near her different home area.

Faintly Quinn heard a voice that could not be from the road behind the row of buildings that he was following "Hm? What's that sound?" His voice was not like.people were engrossed in chatting but more like a debate.

"So, is anyone arguing? That's none of my business." Quinn continued the journey that had stopped. But his heart was throbbing more and more "What is this? I feel very uncomfortable."

Quinn returned again with a slow snort "Why am I so curious about such a useless thing anyway?" His grunts to himself.

Quinn further lightened his legs to make it inaudible, slowly the building no longer covered the horde of noble girls who seemed to be bullying someone "That's not it...?"
