CHAPTRE 7

"..." - ".The sixteen year old youth narrowed in horror staring at the gentle swing of the sea water waves under the port bridge. His feet started to tremble a little.

"Killian, what's wrong? why are you keeping quiet?" he soon regained consciousness from the daydream after Penelope patted him on the shoulder. "Y-yes? sorry brother, I didn't hear you."

"What's wrong? you look pale. Should we just go home? we can find somewhere else to have fun, you don't have to force yourself for me."

Penelope walked away from the bridge. Killian caught the disappointed look from the beautiful face of his cousin brother, he immediately held Penelope's wrist, Killian was not happy to see the brother he loved sad because of him. "It's okay, brother, I'm fine. Let's take a sampan together." Killian forced his smile.

Penelope sumringah "Really? then let's pick a good sampan!" Penelope asked Killian to find the best rental boat. Some fishermen may have thought that they were lovers because Penelope had her hands wrapped around Killian's arms.

"What about this one?"

Killian stared in horror at the sampan that swayed following the twists of the ocean waves, "Can't we just get on the boat?" tanyanya made an offer. Honestly, at this time, I was dizzy to see the vastness of the ocean before my eyes.

Too bad Penelope has other plans that can not be contested by anyone, the beautiful girl then replied "I do not want to. Riding a canoe is my wish for the past two months."

Killian could neither resist nor resist. If Penelope had asked, anything Killian would have done to please her cousin's sister, who was an only child and grew up alone without a sibling. Plus Killian just pissed Penelope off when she kicked Raiden out.

Now Quinn was peeking at her second activity from a building close to the harbor. Quinn already understood the meaning of the message Penelope had written. That means Penelope will do something in the harbor and wants to get Quinn entangled in trouble as usual.

"Oh my goodness. I forgot to buy some snacks. Killian, you wait here huh? I went to buy some food for a while."

Penelope intends to spend this afternoon over the sea but using a canoe. Romantic right? unfortunately it's just a diversion to Penelope's actual plan.

Killian can't swim and she's so traumatized when she has to be on the water. That's the reason behind Killian's fear right now. Penelope also knew that, but all this time she was pretending to be a fool.

Kiliian's trauma was caused by an unpleasant incident when she was six years old. He played with four other friends on the river, and nearly drowned with one of his friends. It's a pity that only Killian survived.

In the sinking state Killian saw the face of his friend who raised his hand as if asking for help, but Killian himself just learned to swim so he could not do anything but watch his friend sink to the bottom first. The incident left a wound for him. Until this moment Killian was still very afraid to feel the small waves or even look at the sea directly. If you have to board the ship, Killian chose to stay silent on the ship and hold on to anything that was sturdy.

Killian is not good at swimming, she has not trained him since the heartbreaking event. Killian wouldn't hesitate to show strength if it was a swordfight, but he's really bad about swimming. But for Penelope's sake she ventured.

Quinn sighed resignedly, "It's your fault that you're too infatuated with the person who's been showing false affection all along." Quinn is grieving his sister's stupidity.

Killian went up first on Penelope's chosen canoe. Although still on the edge, Killian could feel the current sea was choppy, if he lost his balance then no doubt he would be doomed.

Quinn looked at her sister from a distance. His hands suddenly clenched in response to his feelings back then. "You're my siblings, but why can't the two of us look after each other? I wonder what exactly is the reason you don't like me." he muttered as he looked at his sister.

Killian continued to look down at the canoe. Fortunately, the canoe holding rope is still firmly attached so that the canoe does not sail by itself when pushed by water waves.

"Why was Penelope so old? I've been waiting twenty minutes."

"Killian, sorry I'm late. The shop is a bit crowded so I have to queue." Penelope hastily acted again to have Killian believe a lie she didn't plan to tell.

"No problem brother. We better get going. His eyes are almost drowned."

"All right." Penelope immediately went up to the canoe.

Before sailing Penelope first make sure to go back. Staring with jelly one by one humans who passed by around the port. Quinn quickly hid behind a ship that was still sloping.

"You can't trap me twice."

Penelope deliberately prepared a canoe that is still in repair, there is a small hole under the seat. Penelope had loosened the canoe's anchoring rope so that when Killian boarded, the canoe was pushed away from the port. He intended to drown Killian by blaming Quinn when the girl came according to his plan.

it was a pity that Quinn managed to replace the canoe they were riding before Penelope arrived. Quinn replaced it right after visiting Sirena's grave.

At first Quinn did not remember anything, too much stress was borne before he was beheaded until he forgot small events like this.

In the past, with the same incident Quinn was eaten by Penelope's trap.

As it now happens, Penelope did deliberately leave Killian and let the young man wait for his return on the sampan he had chosen. The restraining rope had loosened and Killian was not aware of it.

As Killian sailed with a small hole that began to fill the water in the canoe. Killian began to panic and he drowned with the canoe he was riding.

Coinciding with the arrival of Quinn who had just discovered Penelope's short message. Arriving at the bridge, Quinn frowned at Killian who had asked for help from there. Someone has started saving his sister.

Quinn was eager to help but she also had no swimming skills. Penelope from the ship leaning near Quinn instantly dropped the dagger she used to slice through her restraining rope.

Penelope immediately returned from the direction she left and pretended to cry over the unconscious Killian. Quinn approached her sister. It was a pity that at that time there was someone who saw Quinn throw away (in a state of panic because he saw his sister had reached the edge) the dagger was carelessly.

There was a misunderstanding in which everyone accused Quinn of plotting the murder because someone else was checking the boat's leash. Killian hates him even more, Savero punishes him, and Bastien loses faith in Quinn.

"I really feel sorry for the old me. Too stupid to not notice Penelope's pettiness."

From far away Quinn saw Killian's happy face while joking with her cousin's sister. Even though Killian never smiled in front of her own brother, all she always showed was an annoyed look. Though in retrospect, the cause of Sirena's death was not Quinn but Killian, right?

But Quinn now doesn't care about any relationship. He would only live independently and be able to protect himself. Family, friends, lovers, it's all back business.

Quinn came back to life to patent her own position so that she would stand as a strong woman.

Killian glimpsed Quinn's face, and he was shocked by "Loh?"

"What's up, Killian?" asked Penelope who turned her back to the harbor.

"Ah no. It's like seeing someone I know on that bridge."

Penelope bought it, her heart beating for no apparent reason "Is that not Quinn?!"
