CHAPTER 26

"Erick, I don't think we need to continue our engagement anymore"

"My father will soon be put in jail by Grandpa Sami, so there's no more barrier for us not to continue our engagement" Feby explained as they sat in Kevin's front yard garden.

Erick was quite surprised when Feby asked for it, he went into the room Ayunda wanted to meet with Ayunda but he did not think there was Feby and wanted to talk to him.

"Why? is it because you don't love me? ask Erick.

"You love Ayunda as a woman, not as a sister, don't you?" Feby asked back.

"Does it look like that?" Erick looked at Feby.

Feby looked back at Erick, he smiled but his heart felt pain. "You didn't show it, but I can tell" he recalls seeing the intimacy of the two captured in a photo taken on Erick's phone.

"Erick"

"You love each other, come back to her"

Erick touched on Feby's desire, one side he really wanted to be with Ayunda but on the other hand he realized that Ayunda had been betrothed. "Had had a future husband"

"Newly unmarried candidate, she's betrothed, I think she's forced, you still have a chance to cancel"

Ayunda lay in bed but unable to close her eyes, she still thought about what Kevin said about Erick and Nathan.

"Why haven't you slept?" ask Feby when he enters the room.

Ayunda looked at Feby who walked over to "You have spoken? Where's Erick's sister?"

"I'm here" Erick stood at the door and walked over to Ayunda. Ayunda woke up from lying down and sat leaning on the bed back "Sister came home, see you tomorrow" Erick said as he peeked at Ayunda's head and squeezed his hand.

"Hemm"

Erick left the two in the room. "Ayunda.." call Feby and sit facing Ayunda.

"I broke off my engagement to Erick" Feby continued to surprise Ayunda.

"Have we not talked about it? then why?" ask Ayunda who does not understand Feby's wishes.

"I don't love her" Feby answered and walked to the bathroom, while Ayunda could only hear Feby's words.

For Ayunda nothing can change the situation, even though Feby broke off his engagement to Erick. He is already tied up because it has received Nathan's proposal, Ayunda also does not want to disappoint Kevin who is very confident Nathan can take care of him.

The next day everyone sat at the dinner table to enjoy breakfast, Mr. Sami in the middle seat while Mother Tere and Feby on the left and Ayunda and Kevin on the right side. They enjoy breakfast while having a light conversation.

"How was your engagement to Erick?" tuam Sami's question addressed to Feby choked him, not expecting that Mr. Sami would ask him.

Mother Tere immediately gave water to drink "All is well" replied mother Tere representing Feby to answer him.

"I decided on a fiancee with Erick" Feby explained to Mother Tere in surprise.

Mr. Sami wants to talk again but he hasn't had time to open his mouth someone shouted to Mother Tere and Feby at the front door. Kevin and Ayunda are asked to leave immediately by Mr. Sami, but they are late. Mr. Yuda has seen them first "Where are you going?" his yell.

The bad man had been hiding from the police all night, he managed to escape during the arrest by the authorities. He decides to go to the Richad residence that is now occupied by Kevin after knowing his wife and child are there.

"Looks like you're really protecting your sister, what about your brother? can you protect this useless child?" Master Yuda pulled Feby from his seat.

"Dad.." called Feby while holding back the pain in his hand held tightly by Mr. Yuda.

"Shut up, if you still want to live" Yuda snapped to Feby

Ayunda paled at the sight of Mr. Yuda's rude cry, but he kept calm. Suddenly Kevin clasped his sister's hand tightly and clenched his other hand holding back anger because of Mr. Yuda's treatment of his brother.

Tere's mother approaches her husband, trying to persuade him not to hurt Feby. "Let go of Feby, don't hurt him" he asked.

"Wife is useless, you know I'll be surrounded by police because that's why you left the house" Mr. Yuda slapped Mother Tere.

See that Kevin came? approaching Mr. Yuda and punching him in the face, he couldn't help but get his mother hurt. Kevin who used to be trained in martial arts since childhood has very good strength.

Mr. Yuda wanted to retaliate but could be repelled easily by Kevin, as a result of which he only hit the wind. Mr. Sami just kept quiet not a bit, not because he didn't want to fight or be afraid but he secretly made eye contact with the waiter to contact Jony and the police.

Mr. Yuda is not satisfied with his frustration with Kevin, he will punch Kevin right in the shot. Ayunda saw the direction of Mr. Yuda's punch immediately ran and attacked Mr. Yuda's hand with his kick. Ayunda also has the ability of martial arts because of which his movements can be fast and light.

Mr. Yuda pulled Mother Tere and put a firearm on her head, seeing that Feby shouted "Dad, don't hurt mom anymore" he said with a sob.

Outside the police were ready, they were settling into the precipitate without a sound. Kevin is aware of their presence but his worries cannot be lost, at this time his mother's life is in a gamble.

"What do you want?" kevin asked trying to buy time.

"All your father's possessions. Give me that and I'll let go of your mother" she replied.

"You want my father's treasure? I won't give it. Why did I exchange all the property for the life of the person who left me since I was a child" Kevin seemed uninterested.

"You heard Tere, your son loves his father's possessions more than you do his mother" Mr. Yuda said with a smile.

"You're useless as my sandra" Mr. Yuda pulled the firearm's direction from Mother Tere's head and pointed it at Ayunda.

Ayunda and Kevin were quite calm in the face of the current situation, they were trying to find an opportunity to drop Lord Yuda's firearm.

"I'll shoot him" said Mr. Yuda.

"I'm grateful that you did that sir, you're the killer and I'm the one who's gonna get the treasure" Kevin laughed gladly as he pointed out his evil side.

"Haha... haha..." Master Yuda laughed. "I didn't expect that you turned out to be the same as me, how about I shoot you one more time" he said, laughing.

Mr. Yuda halted his laughter as one of the policemen approached and put his firearm in Mr. Yuda's head.

"Let go of your weapon" said the policeman.

Mr. Yuda tried slowly to lower his firearm towards Ayunda and Kevin who were standing next to each other.

Dor... Mr. Yuda put his gun back up and opened fire twice.
