CHAPTER 57 ”Tough Woman”

Ayunda felt that something cold was sticking to her neck, she touched the front, there was a pendant attached to the necklace that was suddenly attached to her neck. No need to figure out who did it, he turned around just to make sure.

Nathan stood right in front of him, curling a smile at his lips. "Open up" Nathan gives Ayunda orders to open the lion.

Ayunda's eyes glazed over when she saw the photo stored behind her pendant, it was her photo with Nathan when she was six years old. Ayunda never knew they had a photo together when she was a child. "Mas" was just that word coming out of Ayunda's mouth.

Nathan approached Ayunda and hugged her. "You likey?" nathan asked in a whisper.

"Thank you" Ayunda replied, she didn't say she liked it or not. One thing he knew, Nathan had liked him a long time ago.

"Come, let's find the gift you want" Nathan took Ayunda out of the jewelry store.

"Mas, I'm gonna take a little rest" Ayunda asked Nathan for permission. While in Kevin's office, he went to the toilet not to do his wish, he went there just to wash his face to look fresh, because not taking a nap made him a little sleepy.

Ayunda went into the toilet, while Nathan waited for him not far from there. Ayunda had just finished and opened the door to her cubicle, but it was interrupted when she heard someone come in and talk over the phone. Ayunda was very familiar with the voice, she was sure it was Dewi, classmate with Kevin. The goddess is difficult to understand, sometimes she is kind to Ayunda, but there are times when she is like hating Ayunda.

Ever since someone hit him until he was unconscious, Ayunda was afraid when he faced the Goddess. Ayunda does not know why, one side he believes that it is impossible Goddess, on the other hand he feels that the culprit is Goddess, but he has no proof.

"I can definitely get Kevin" Ayunda heard him clearly, and she was increasingly convinced it was the Goddess.

"I've waited too long, now that she's not with her little girl anymore" Ayunda understood, the little girl that the Goddess meant was her. Ayunda knew a long time ago that Dewi liked Kevin, but did not expect that Dewi would wait until he and Kevin ended.

"Yes, the girl is sickly, her pain in the head, according to information she likes to socialize, maybe a little mental disorder. Because of that Kevin let go" the Goddess laughed, it seemed like the person who was talking to her was making a very pleasant thing for her.

Ayunda let out a cold sweat, she endured the pain, and it was all because of the woman he was with at the moment. He wanted to get angry and hit the Goddess, but he knew her strength. He can't hurt people, even if his condition isn't okay.

Ayunda finally came out, after she heard the door open and she no longer heard the voice of the Goddess, after last saying she wanted to see Kevin. Ayunda stood in front of the mirror, trying to cool her mind and neutralize the blood flow on her face.

"Why long?" nathan asked as Ayunda approached him.

"Mas, I want to go home" Ayunda ignored Nathan's question.

Nathan who heard him was astonished, why did Ayunda suddenly take him home? "You sick? What are you feeling? Which Section? Chief?" Nathan bombarded him with questions.

"Yunda is just a little dizzy" Ayunda replied.

"We're doctors!" Nathan gave the order. Doctor Sam or Doctor Erick?" ask Nathan.

Ayunda initially wants to refuse, but after Nathan mentions Erick she changes her mind. "Doctor Erick" Ayunda replied quickly.

No wait for long, Ayunda and Nathan had already arrived at the hospital. They were not examination chambers, but were directly in Doctor Erick's private quarters.

Ayunda knocked on Doctor Erick's door. "Come in" a voice came from inside.

Ayunda opened it, she could see Dr. Erick was examining the files on her desk. "Do I bother Doc?" ask Ayunda.

"Ayunda" Doctor Erick stood up to welcome Ayunda, the girl visited him without making an appointment, it was enough to make Doctor Erick happy. But his pleasure was lost when he saw the figure who had just entered standing behind Ayunda.

"Can I help you?" dr. Erick asked, he should be professional despite his disappointment.

"There's something I want to tell you Doc" Ayunda replied.

Erick invited Ayunda and Nathan to sit on the sofa in his room. Erick's room is quite spacious, he was recently appointed deputy director at Harley Hospital.

"What do you want to drink?" Doctor Erick offered.

"No need to bother Doc" Ayunda refused.

"Alright, so what do you want to tell me" asked Dr. Erick.

Ayunda was silent for a moment, she glanced at Nathan then took a deep breath and exhaled him. He hesitates to tell Nathan a story, but after his divorce he allows Nathan to find out.

"So, is it possible that the pain that I feel is due to a hard impact on my head? And leave the trauma" asked Ayunda.

Erick thought for a moment before answering. "When you're in an accident there's not a hard blow to your head, which is why I wonder why you've been in a coma for so long, and you've been pushing me to research it" Erick replied.

"Not during Doc's accident, but before" Ayunda replied.

"You mean, you had an accident before the accident that put you in a coma?" Dr. Erick asked for an explanation.

"Four years ago, I had someone hit me in the head several times, until I was unconscious" Nathan and Doctor Erick both held back from hearing Ayunda's story.

"You know who hit you, Ra?" Nathan asked. "Aren't you with Kevin then?" ask again.

"I didn't know at first" Ayunda answered honestly. "I didn't tell Kevin either. I kept this a secret to myself" Ayunda explained.?

"Tell me, let me conclude" Doctor Erick asked.

Ayunda recounted the incident from the beginning, she was alone in an empty room, she was there to check the room, worthy or not for the campus organization she attended. He should have checked the room together with Dewi, a student who majors and his class is the same as Kevin. When he walked with the Goddess, someone called the Goddess, saying that he was waiting for the lecturer in his room. The goddess left and Ayunda continued on her own.

Not until he was in the room in question, the team leader of their organization contacted him. He talked on the phone for a long time, even if only to answer questions from the team leader. After he finished talking by phone Ayunda continued his duties.

Not long ago in the room, Ayunda felt someone hit her on the head, not once, but several times, until he was unconscious and regretted he could not recognize who did it.

Nathan was silent and listening to all of Ayunda's stories, he couldn't imagine Ayunda experiencing it all, her body was hot, her heart was beating faster, Nathan was enveloped in anger, but he had to endure it.

"Now you know the culprit. Tell me who he is" asked Nathan, he could not bear to vent his anger on the man.

Ayunda could clearly see Nathan's reddened face. "Mas, calm down" she asked.
