CHAPTER 32 ”Full Night Sharpness”

"You know Kevin?" Nathan asked after hearing Alisa's reply.

"I know him, we are good friends" Alisa replied nervously.

"It must have been very close, to the point that he called you personally" Nathan said.

"It's not like that, sir, not because we're good friends but Kevin's worried about the condition of his sick girlfriend" Alisa immediately shut her mouth after feeling her hand pinch Ayunda.

"Love?" Nathan repeats Alisa's words.

"Former lover sir" explained Alisa, she forgot Ayunda had told her that Ayunda and Kevin had separated.

Nathan was silent, his face showing dislike. All this time he was looking for Ayunda and it turned out that Ayunda was with Kevin without him knowing.

"Sorry the order was late" Dariel entered while carrying a bunch of parcels.

Nathan immediately picked up one of the parcels that Dariel had brought, opened it and walked up to Ayunda. Seeing Nathan approaching, Alisa slightly moved away from Ayunda while observing what Nathan was going to do.

"Darling..you eat first" said Nathan as he thrust a spoonful of Ayunda's mouth.

Alisa was fixated on not believing what she heard, Nathan called Ayunda affectionately. Unbelieving what she saw, Ayunda receives a bribe from the cold, stiff hands of Nathan.

"Alisa. You must not have eaten, I bought a lot so you can eat with me now" Dariel bargained so that Alisa did not pay much attention to Nathan and Ayunda.

Alisa nodded and sat down on the sofa with Dariel, not her name Alisa if she could not sharpen her vision and hearing even far away.

"I eat alone sir" pinta Ayunda but did not get a response from Nathan, with Ayunda forced to take a bribe from Nathan to leave.

"Good girls, my sweet heart" Nathan said as he ruffled Ayunda's hair and smiled happily.

Alisa could only watch silently even though she was eager to ask Ayunda. The man he had known to be cold for eight months could be so warm and considerate of a secretary.

"You rest let it heal quickly" he said after tucking Ayunda's forehead making Alisa's head full of questions again. "So far the big boss's attention is with Ayunda" and that's all he can say in his heart. "Special relationship" he guessed.

"My mother said it was time to go back to the office" said Alisa to Ayunda while approaching Ayunda. "You owe me an explanation" he whispered while cipika cipiki with Ayunda.

"Sir Natahan.... Mr. El. I say goodbye" said Alisa. "Thank you for lunch"

"You can go back to the office with me Alisa" Dariel bargained and got a nod from Alisa. Who can refuse the offer of the number two person in his company who had been an idol of female employees before Nathan's presence.

Left Alisa and Dariel the atmosphere of the room back quiet, Ayunda was unable to close her eyes. How could he sleep after Nathan knew of his relationship with Kevin, while he was meeting him as if he didn't know Kevin. Ayunda was also troubled by the words of Nathan who had been waiting for him for up to five years.

Nathan was eating his food on the sofa while watching Ayunda who looked agitated even though she was on her back.

"What's wrong?" nathan asked, after finishing his meal he approached Ayunda.

Ayunda turned her back on her body even though she didn't want to see Nathan, but it would seem very rude if she answered Nathan's question without seeing him.

"It's okay sir. Just can't sleep" Ayunda replied.

"I want to go home, it's not painful" said Ayunda, he felt uncomfortable Nathan was keeping him in the hospital.

"I'll ask the doctor" Nathan replied.

Ayunda allowed Erick to go home, and asked Ayunda to rest at home well. Seeing Nathan holding Ayunda's hand while walking to the parking lot makes Erick feel pain in his chest, he is jealous but can not do anything.

"Thank you for taking me by the bus" Ayunda said after she opened her door.

Nathan ignored Ayunda's words, he went in and sat down on the sofa. "You live alone?" he asked while watching the room.

"Both mama" answered Ayunda who was forced to let Nathan in.

"Only two? Your papa?"

"Papa was not there when I was in school" said Ayunda, as soon as he missed papa and Kevin was the one who loved him as much as his father.

"Sorry to make you sad" Nathan hugged Ayunda while pecking at the top of his head.

"It's okay sir. I'm used to it" Ayunda stretched Nathan's embrace.

"I'll get you a drink" Ayunda moved away from Nathan and went straight to the kitchen.

Nathan follows Ayunda, but his steps are stopped when he sees a picture of the Ayunda family. "Om Richad" he murmured.

Ayunda was surprised to see Nathan already sitting at the dining table as he exited the kitchen, finally he put the cake and drinks he prepared in front of Nathan then pulled the chair that was on Nathan's side and sat there.

"You've known Kevin for a long time?" the question Ayunda wanted to avoid finally came out of Nathan's mouth.

"Six years ago" inevitably Ayunda had to answer him.

"We met at the campus, Kevin, at that time I represented the school to participate in the race there" he explained again.

"It just so happened that Kevin's brother was his role model and after the race we accidentally met a few times"

Ayunda was silent after explaining the beginning of her meeting with Kevin. "Just met a few times and you're lovers?" ask Nathan.

Ayunda smiled at Nathan's question. "What kind of question is this?" thought. "Am I that easy"

"We were in a relationship one year later" answered Ayunda who recalled how Kevin approached her and asked Ayunda to be her lover.

"Why?" nathan asked to look at Ayunda who was like daydreaming.

"I remember how she asked me to be her keksih and how she dumped me"

"Kevin dumped you?"

"I found him sleeping with another woman" Ayunda explained.

"Kevin did that? Sleeping with another woman?" nathan said to Ayunda.

Ayunda laughed to see Nathan's face like a tangent. "Why are you laughing?" nathan asked though he was actually happy to see Ayunda this cheerful.

"Father does not believe my words by repeating what I say"

"But it's okay sir, it doesn't have to be all explanation I believe"

"Better you enjoy my cake" pointed Ayunda at the cake in front of Nathan.

Nathan smiled and enjoyed the cake. "Is this you who made it?" nathan asked after feeling one mouthful while looking at the aggukan from Ayunda.

"Enak... this is different from the cake flavor that I usually eat" commented Nathan honestly about the cake made by Ayunda.

"If you want a cake like this, you can buy it at my mama's cake shop" said Ayunda's mainstay to promote her mama's cake shop.

"Your mom has a cake shop?"

"Yes.. not far from here, the shophouse in front of the complex" Ayunda's promotional brain never disappeared even though it had been in a coma for one year.

"That means your mama's in the store right now"

"Usually mama in the store, but this morning mama to bogor, my grandmother was not well" Ayunda explained.

Nathan nodded his head in understanding while finishing the cake that Ayunda served greedily.

Ayunda let Nathan finish his cake, while looking at Nathan's face that seemed to enjoy it. At first glance he thought why Nathan was not what his colleagues in the office were talking about, he was very different from the picture given by Alisa and her other colleagues. There was no frightening aura on Nathan's face, even more so when he looked relaxed like this.

"Do you admire my good looks?" nathan's voice surprised Ayunda who was cool with his own mind.
