CHAPTER 41 ”Under Sunshine”

Ayunda only closed her eyes when Luna came and asked her the situation, she chose to pretend to sleep even more when she heard Nathan forbade Luna to approach her.

Ten minutes went by there was only silence, none of Nathan and Luna started a conversation. While Ayunda can only wait, what the two cousins will talk about together.

Nathan's cell phone ringer broke the kehenigan. Nathan immediately stood up as he found out who was contacting him, he exited the room, not wanting his conversation to be heard especially by Luna.

"Goddess Fortuna is on my side" muttered Luna after Nathan left and went missing behind the door.

Luna walked up to Ayunda "It seems you have a lot of reserves of Ayunda's life" he said with a mocking smile staring at Ayunda.

Ayunda did not understand what Luna was saying, but she was sure this was not something good. Stopping their first meeting, Luna is very proud and does not want to accept her hand in their second meeting, then requests Luna who suddenly wants to have lunch with her and end up with an accident she experienced.

"Ok, it doesn't matter that you survived yesterday's accident, at least I got an interesting spectacle when you were thrown and covered in blood"

"But not for this time Ayunda, I will really end your life, go quietly. Because your departure will bring Nathan back to me"

"Nobody thought that I would inject something into you and your poor life would end up in my hands" Luna laughed as she prepared to inject something in the infusion liquid that flowed into Ayunda's body.

"Luna" Nathan's voice shocked Luna and threw the syringe she was holding just like that.

"What do you want to do with Ayunda?" nathan asked.

"No, there was an infusion when Ayunda moved, so I....."

"Luna wants to kill me" Ayunda cut off Luna's words which immediately rounded her eyes.

"What are you talking about Ayunda" cried Luna trying to defend herself even though she was surprised to find out that Ayunda was not sleeping.

"I just told Nanthan what you were going to do to me Luna"

"You're crazy, why would I kill a man who's about to die"

Luna's words made Ayunda unable to do anything, she would indeed die even if Luna did not kill him, then what a difference now and then, she would still end in death.

Doctor Sam's words filled Ayunda's head, most likely after the operation she would be blind, and it was the same she was dead, because she could not see this world anymore with her eyes, he said, only darkness will fill his days.

"Luna" Nathan's voice snapping at Luna made Ayunda aware, saying,

"Go home, and never come again" this time Nathan said it quietly. No matter how angry she is with Luna she cannot deny that she loves her little sister.

They grew up together, through a lot of time together, laughing together, crying together and sometimes doing crazy things together. Unfortunately sincere, dear a brother to his sister. Luna's feeling of being a man made her stay away from Luna, even though she kept telling people to keep an eye on Luna.

His man who was watching Luna contacted him, so he came out of Ayunda's hospital room. The news brought by the people told him to make it back into Ayunda's room, he could not leave Ayuda with Luna.

Nathan saw with his own eyes, Luna would do something in Ayunda's infusion bottle. But he takes the girl off, even though he knows Luna was the one who caused Ayunda the accident.

"I was just lying about Luna" Ayunda said, awakening Nathan's daydream.

"Hemm" that's all Nathan said and then sat down on the couch watching his eyes.

Ayunda just looked at his boss in surprise, only this time he saw Nathan like a tired man. During these two months he saw the figure of Nathan who was energetic, dashing and authoritative even though sometimes like a spoiled person when with him, but had never seen Nathan like this, what was it? What the hell is going on?

Thirty minutes passed from the incident, there was no sound from the two. Nathan and Ayunda are both unable to sleep and both lock their mouths to start a conversation.

Ayunda turned her back on Nathan, trying to rest her mind, but her eyes were immediately fixed on the syringe lying down.

"Luna did this on purpose. Why?" again Ayunda could not answer his own question.

Dariel and Alisa come to break the silence between Nathan and Ayunda. Dariel sits in front of Nathan and Alisa approaches Ayunda.

"You haven't put Nda to bed yet?" alisa asked as she advanced her body to look at Ayunda's face.

Ayunda turned to face Alisa "It's night, why did you come here?" tanyakanya.

"I'll take care of you tonight my dear" Alisa replied with a wide smile.

Ayunda glanced at Nathan "They have work to do" whispered Alisa knowing the meaning of Ayunda's glance.

Nathan stands close to Ayunda "Ra, tonight Alisa is taking care of you. There's work to be done" Ayunda nodded in understanding and then got Nathan's soft lips peeked at his forehead.

"Is there anything you want to tell me Lis?" ask Ayunda after Nathan and Dariel are lost behind the door.

Alisa just stared at Ayunda in silence. "Oh Lis, I know what Nathan and Mr. El are doing this time is not an office business" Ayunda sighed, long waiting for Alisa's reaction but her best friend remained silent.

"Luna was here" Ayunda broke their silence. "You know what he's doing?" Alisa shook her head hearing Ayunda's question.

"Take Lis dry tissue" pinta Ayunda and Alisa directly comply with Ayunda's request.

"Walk to my left" Ayunda again asked Alisa to do what she ordered.

Ayunda tilted her body towards Alisa. "Look down" he pointed at the lying syringe.

"Keep it well, lest your hand touch it" Alisa again complied with Ayunda's request without refuting and asking anything. He put the needle in the plastic and kept it in the bag at Ayunda's request.

"So Luna would inject it into me, unfortunately Nathan stopped her" Ayunda's remark made Alisa astonished.

"Unfortunately?" ask Alisa.

Ayunda chuckled "Luna said that I seem to have a lot of life reserves"

"Even if he injects it into me, there's still another life reserve that will keep me alive. Didn't you?"

"Yunda, you'll be fine. Many people love you. There's me, mama, Nathan, Kevin, Dr. Erick and the others. So don't even think about leaving us Ayunda" Now that Alisa's asking, she knows what Ayunda's desperate words mean.

"Can I get through this operation Lis?" tanya Ayunda.

"You can definitely Nda, I beg you not to go back to your other world"

"You'd be happier here with us than with people who aren't real"

"But I like them Lis, my brother Kevin, my dark lover Brother Erick and my future husband Nathan" Ayunda said with a small laugh and Alisa disliked it.

"Akhhh why their names should be the same" growled Ayunda.
