CHAPTER 39 ”A Decision”

Kevin's departure leaves tears for Ayunda, at the moment he wants to forget all the memories with Kevin, for the good of Kevin and himself. Kevin's expression of love this time makes his chest hurt, both love each other but can not have each other.

Mama Mira knows Ayunda's sadness, she approaches and caresses her daughter's hair.

"It's all over, you have to be strong. Remember you're sick and trying to be healthy, that's more important right now"

Mama Mira's words made Ayunda aware, she can't be like this. "Mama is right, everything has passed and now is the time to prepare for the future" said Ayunda.

Tonight Nathan returns to keep her in the hospital, Ayunda feels bad too much trouble for the man who thinks of himself as a lover.

"Sir Nathan doesn't have to wait for me here, it's better to rest at home, tomorrow it has to go to the office, right?"

Hearing Ayunda's words, Nathan approached her and sat down beside the bed while looking at Ayunda's face that still looked pale.

"When do you keep calling me father? it's not Ra's office" Nathan says, making Ayunda bite her lip.

"Sorry, I'm used to it, sir uh" Ayunda replied nervously making Nathan sigh long.

"Darling..call me dear" Nathan asked.

Ayunda's face seemed to dislike Nathan's request, not yet when he called Nathan dear, his heart still partly owned Kevin "It's okay if you don't want to, but don't blame me for kissing your lips when you call me father" Nathan said earnestly making Ayunda round her eyes.

Nathan doesn't care about Ayunda's dislike, making Ayunda even more upset. "It could threaten people who are sick" Ayunda upset in heart.

"Can't do that, Mr. Nath..." Ayunda was unable to speak again when she found that her lips had been touched by Nathan's lips which were immediately **********.

Nathan really did what he said. "Alright" said Ayunda slowly after Nathan let go of his kiss. Nathan smiled happily and touched Ayunda's lips again, this time he did it more gently to make Ayunda open her lips and reply to every move from Nathan.

From the glass of the door someone who was about to enter watched the scene they unbundled his intentions. "Doctor Erick why don't you swipe at Ayunda's mother" asked a nurse who recognized Erick.

"It's okay, it looks like he's asleep" Erick lies as he walks away from the nurse.

There was a tightness that Erick felt, he knew this would someday happen. But his desire to be with Ayunda made him forget all the possibilities Ayunda could not have.

The first time Erick saw Ayunda when Kevin invited her to their best friend's birthday party, when Ayunda had just become Kevin's girlfriend. Not wanting to destroy his friendly relationship with Kevin, Erick decides not to at all get acquainted with the girl who made him fall in love at that first sight.

His days are busy with his lectures as a medical student who does not have much free time. Not a few girls who tried to approach him, but his mind never separated from Ayunda. Moreover, he still often saw the girl even from afar, of course he saw her with Kevin who was clearly his lover.

Admiring his affection from afar was enough to make him feel the pain, the pain he made himself for loving his best friend's lover. Several times Kevin wanted to introduce him to Ayunda but Erick always refused with various reasons. Even after he cursed his stupid self, giving up before trying.

When Ayunda was in an accident and taken to the hospital where he was on duty, Erick felt pain from seeing head injuries and other body parts. That afternoon he who served as a guard doctor, with his own hands he treated Ayunda's wounds with affection.

Can touch the body of his loved ones so far, making Erick without realizing it shed tears and so the attention of the nurses who helped him there as if they did not believe what they saw.

Ayunda did not wake up, every day he would accompany the girl on the sidelines of her work as a doctor. Ayunda often murmured to call Erick's name although it was not clear to make him want to be with the girl, Ayunda could feel his presence even though he was in a coma that Erick thought.

After Kevin explained that he and Ayunda were not together, without a doubt Erick had a lot of words of love for Ayunda, squeezing, squeezing, kissing her forehead and gently caressing Ayunda's head are activities she does every day.

Even though it was too late, he kept hoping that the girl would come to her senses and become her lover. When that time came, he was the happiest, even more so he was the first person Ayunda saw after a year of closing his eyes.

Now he must get back away from Ayunda, all for the happiness of the girl he loves, though he must feel the pain again.

"You've been visiting Ayunda? How's things going?" kevin asked, yes the person who knocked on Erick's car glass was Kevin.

Erick shook his head "I don't know, but it seems to be fine" he replied softly.

"You didn't see him, was there him?" kevin's question got a nod from Erick.

"My cousin was very lucky, he was the winner" Kevin kept silent after saying his words. No different from Kevin, Erickpun just silence, both are immersed in their respective minds.

Meanwhile in the inpatient room Ayunda turns her back to Nathan, after the man releases the link. He was already upset and getting annoyed because Natahan did not want to stop his kiss.

"Don't be angry, dear Rara, I miss you" Nathan explained, wanting to justify his actions.

"Two weeks away from you made me unable to concentrate on checking out the branch office"

"I was even like a madman when I heard about your accident, I just left the meeting room screaming" Nathan chuckled at his behavior a few days ago.

"Rara, why did you go alone to the front restaurant?" nathan asked Ayunda to turn her back on Nathan.

"Where's Luna?" ask Ayunda.

Nathan doesn't understand why Ayunda asked Luna? Ayunda understood that Nathan was talking about his question.

"Luna asked me to have lunch together at the restaurant opposite" Ayunda explained.

"Luna asked for that?" Ayunda. "For what?" ask Nathan again.

"No idea, he didn't explain anything, just forced to come see him"

Ayunda handed over her flat screen for Nathan to read. "Where is Luna now?" ask Ayunda after Nathan reads Luna's text message.

"I've sent him back to Singapore" Nathan explained.

The nurse comes to check on Ayunda, while Nathan calls Dariel to ask his assistant to investigate the case of Ayunda's accident. When he saw the results of the surveillance camera footage in his company there was something strange about the incident, the car seemed to accidentally hit Ayunda.

Ayunda's description of Luna further made her suspicions big, she was very sure this was intentional.

"What's wrong?" ayunda asked as she looked at Nathan as if she was thinking, the nurse had finished examining him and said goodbye to Nathan, but the man did not hear the nurse's words, busy with his own thoughts.

"Nothing, just a little problem at the branch office" Nathan told a lie.

"Sir..." Ayunda shut her mouth. "I've prepared your work agenda, everything is on the table" continued Ayunda who again covered her mouth as Nathan walked over to her.

"Thank you" Nathan said as he lifted Ayunda's blanket. "Sleep, you need enough rest" continued Nathan as he kissed Ayunda's forehead and lips at a glance.

A pair of eyes watched the intimacy with a slight forced smile on his face.
