CHAPTER 61 ”Mauritania”

Nathan walked down the hospital hallway to Doctor Erick's private room. He knocked on the door of Doctor Erick, a nurse greeted him.

"Doctor Erick isn't in his room sir, he's resting in the front cafe" the nurse explained.

"All right, I'll meet him there. Thank you" Nathan replied. He left the hospital for the cafe the nurse had mentioned. He knew exactly where the cafe was, he and Ayunda had visited the cafe several times.

Today Nathan went to see Dr. Erick, because he wanted to know more about Ayunda's disease. He circled his gaze through every corner of the cafe to look for Doctor Erick, after he entered and stood at the door of the cafe. He found the figure he was looking for, he could see Doctor Erick, but the doctor did not sit alone. Doctor Erick laughed happily with his little girl Ayunda. There was a sense of annoyance, jealousy and anger so one, wanting it to feel like he came and stopped their happy laughter. But he breaks his intention, he leaves the cafe and seduces Ayunda and Doctor Erick continues their happiness.

Nathan returned to the Adhipramana Group, standing staring at the sky and other tall buildings around his company. His eyes glanced to the side, crowing Ayunda standing by his side, and he declared his love for the first time, kissing the thin lips of his little girl. Nathan felt a pulse in his heart, as he again stopped the happy laughter of Ayunda and Doctor Erick.

There was a knock on the door of his room, "Come in" Nathan replied, only two people used to knock on his room, the two were Dariel and Alisa, and right now the knocking was definitely one of them.

"Bro" called Dariel as soon as he opened Nathan's door. "There's Ayunda downstairs" she tells Nathan.

Without answering Dariel's words, Nathan leaves his room for the elevator. The lower floor where Loby is located is the goal. The elevator opened, Nathan could see his little girl talking to a receptionist employee whom he did not know her name. He walked up to the reception desk without Ayunda knowing.

Nathan restrained his smile, as he looked at the surprised Ayunda as he turned around and looked at Nathan. He looked at Ayunda anxiously as his little girl hesitated to call him a mas and reverted back to being a sir.

Unable to stand it all, Nathan approaches Ayunda, showing his affection by tidying up the knit hat that Ayunda wears. Her little girl looks so pretty today, her face looks bright.

"It seemed like he was very happy after meeting the doctor" Nathan's inner self, then grabbed his little girl's hand, grasping her tightly led him to the special elevator of the chairman and the board of directors. "Mas" whispered Ayunda.

"Why? embarrassed?" nathan asked in a whisper, closing his lips in Ayunda's ear.

Widya who saw it was surprised, because seen from behind where Widya's position is, Nathan like kissing Ayunda.

"This is the office" Ayunda replied. He doesn't want to be a gossip anymore.

"Why office? Mau Mas kiss here" Nathan's tease. Ayunda opened her eyes and Nathan let go of her grasp. "What's that bring?" pointing with his chin that Ayunda was holding.

Lunch for us and Alisa" Ayunda showed her the package. Nathan takes over the parcel that Ayunda carries with her right hand, while her left hand embraces Ayunda, which leaves her little girl again shocked by what Nathan is doing. Her good brother was too showing that there was a special relationship between them.

Ayunda simply resigned herself to what Nathan was doing, getting ready to listen to the gossip about him.

While Widya stood still without turning to look at her boss's treatment of Ayunda, "What do I see? A cold man can be warm like that" inwardly.

"Akhh this is the best news to break the rumors that are circulating. Who says Ayunda fired Mr. Nathan. The true news is that Ayunda won Mr. Nathan's heart" inwardly.

Widya smiled to herself, feeling like she was the first to know the truth. His smile came to a halt as someone rebuked him. "Don't think of making new gossip" the man scolded that it was Dariel.

"Eh.. Mr. El. Take it easy sir, I just want to get back at the people who talk bad about Ayunda. I am on the side of Ayunda Pak El" Widya replied with a grin.

"Don't let Mr. Nathan get angry and fire you" Dariel threatened and left Widya.

Nathan and Ayunda were already in Nathan's room. They sat on the couch, Nathan was spoiled today, he slept on Anyunda's lap.

"Why didn't you tell me it was coming?" nathan asked as he closed his eyes, enjoying the touch of Ayunda's hand rubbing his head.

"If the news is not a surprise his name is Mas" Ayunda chuckled. "Rara had just met Doctor Erick" explained Ayunda.

"What's the time for control? Why not take me to the hospital?" Nathan opened his eyes looking at Ayunda.

"Not in the hospital, Rara met Doctor Erick at the front cafe. Not for control, just wanted to give a thank you parcel. Hold the meeting this morning, so Rara goes alone" Ayunda replied.

"Doctor Erick not only took care of Rara when she was sick, but he also gave support when papa left Mama and Rara. Every night he came to Om Anggara, sending prayers to Papa. Therefore Rara wants to thank him" explained Ayunda.

"I'm sorry, Mas wasn't there for you when Om Richad left" Nathan regretted, he was late to find Ayunda.

"Indeed, it's not time we met" Ayunda was very aware of it, all happened as a story written in the outline of his life.

"Don't be mad, Mas, Rara went to see Doctor Erick himself" said Ayunda, she could see Nathan's dislike face, as she told her to see Doctor Erick.

Nathan's coming out of Ayunda's lap, honestly he was jealous. But when he sees Ayunda who is honest that he meets Doctor Erick for something else he forgets his anger and bad thoughts about Ayunda and Doctor Erick.

"Mas wasn't angry" Nathan replied.

"But jealous" retorted Ayunda.

"Not that's natural. That's a sign Mas's afraid of losing this worried little girl Mas" Nathan pinched Ayunda's nose.

"But excessive slaughter. Rara doesn't like it. Rara has chosen Mas Nathan to be on Rara's side" Ayunda explained.

"You know, thank you for that" Nathan looked at his little girl's face, there was happiness in the deepest corner of his heart when Ayunda said he had chosen to be by her side. He won her little girl's heart, but it hasn't been able to make her take away the fear of losing her little girl. He did not want to lose a second time.

Nathan caressed Ayunda's smiling face, brought her closer to him and kissed Ayunda's thin lips. By kissing her he could calm his heart from the fear of loss.

"Mas" said Ayunda after Nathan let go of his kiss.

"Ra, it looks like we should get married soon" Nathan said. "You want to?" Nathan gently rubbed Ayunda's wet lips with his thumb.

"Ayunda Tiara, are you ready to be Nathan Adhipramana's wife?"
