CHAPTER 45 ”Guest” Arrival

Nathan had just returned from the mosque, when a nurse approached him. "What's the matter?"

"Mother Ayunda was conscious. It's now being examined for all the vital signs, so it can't be moved yet. If you're strong, you can come in"

A smile rose on Nathan's face, making the handsome face shine again. The nurse in front of him gets an unexpected sustenance, a Nathan whom he knows quite well does not smile easily at anyone, now smiles at him.

"Thank you" Nathan deskwab brief.

"Yes, sir. You welcome. Excuse me first." said the nurse and left Nathan.

Nathan stood up again and saw Ayunda from behind the glass, who was now approached by several people who examined him.

"How Ayunda was" Dariel's voice turned away from his gaze, who kept watching Ayunda.

"It is conscious, still being examined" Nathan replied briefly as he told Dariel to see for himself the state of Ayunda pointing with his chin.

"Me and Lisa brought you some food. It's dinner time. "Dariel invited Nathan to sit on the bench where Alisa had prepared their dinner.

Nathan follows Dariel, whose stomach worm is already charging to fill.

"What about Luna? Is there still no evidence that he was the brain of the accident that Ayunda experienced?" nathan asked after he finished his meal.

"We have evidence, but not an accident, but an attempted murder by injecting poison" Dariel replied, to Nathan's surprise.

"The night Luna came to the hospital, she brought an injection containing poison. Fortunately, Mr. Nathan quickly returned to the room at that time" Alisa now explained.

"Ayunda who saw the injection was on the floor, probably fell when Mr. Nathan surprised her. Ayunda asked me to keep it, maybe it was necessary, it turned out that Ayunda was right, this evidence is needed."

"But I didn't see Luna holding the injection" Nathan replied after trying to stop the incident last night.

"It's possible that Luna threw it, when she heard the door open" Alisa said what she thought. He breathed a rough breath, recalling the incident last night when Ayunda felt that many people hated him and wanted him dead.

"What's wrong?" Nathan asked, he realized there must be something he missed, by looking at Alisa's face that changed instantly after discussing Luna.

"Yunda was depressed last night" Alisa's answer this time was completely unbelievable Nathan. As she left Ayunda she saw her little girl looking fine.

"What's going on?"

Alisa eventually recounts what happened to Ayunda until she asked Doctor Erick to come check on Ayunda.

"Why didn't you tell me or El?" nathan's face now seemed unhappy to hear Alisa mention Erick's name.

"Sorry sir, I do not want to interfere with the work of Mr. El. About Doctor Erick, because he is the doctor who has been caring for Ayunda" replied Alisa nervously. How he was not nervous, Nathan's face was completely unfriendly.

"How's Ayunda doing?"

The nurse who had met Nathan approached. "Sir or Mother anyone want to meet Mother Ayunda? Can come in for a second. But Ayunda's mother still can't talk."

Nathan invites Mama Mira who first entered, however the woman is more good-natured than him, although in fact he really wants to meet and talk to Ayunda immediately. Even more so after hearing Alisa's story.

"So soon finish Luna's business, I don't want her to still be able to wander around when Ayunda is healthy. We don't know what else he's gonna do" Nathan talked to Dariel. They just sit together. Alisa stood in front of the glass to see Ayunda and her mother who was talking, precisely only her mother who spoke, because Ayunda was still wearing a breathing apparatus.

Nathan's frustration about Erick whom Alisa contacted was unwarranted, he knew it. Alisa is not wrong, because the presence of Erick as a doctor is very helpful to Ayunda's health. It's just jealousy that makes him not like the presence of Erick, especially until now Ayunda has not received his declaration of love.

It wasn't Erick that Nathan had to watch out for, but his cousin Kevin was the one he should be watching, Kevin might want to go back to Ayunda. Moreover, he decided it because of coercion and until now still love Ayunda. That's what Siska's mother said, her own mother.

It is possible that Ayunda also still loves Kevin, therefore until now Ayunda has not been able to accept it. Thinking of that made Nathan exhale violently. "It seems like he has to fight even harder" Nathan inner as he shook his head.

"Nathan should go home and rest at home, let alone aunty tonight who take care" said Mama Mira who sat approaching Nathan who looked tangled.

Mama Mira felt sorry for her husband's best friend's son. "Tomorrow you have to work, so it's best to rest tonight"

Nathan complies with Mama Mira's request after convincing Mama Mira to be okay by herself looking after Ayunda. Actually he wanted to work to keep Ayunda, but Dariel reminded that tomorrow morning there is an important meeting that he should not miss or be represented by anyone.

With a heavy heart Nathan left the hospital, after he told Ayunda. Previously, he had asked the nurse a little to let him talk even if only one word to his little girl. Because not just anyone is allowed to go in to see patients. Not just one word he said, but he said many.

"Ra, tonight's the watch mama, all right?" his question, which Ayunda answered by winking if he allowed it.

"Actually, your mother forced me home. Mama asked me to rest tonight." she told Ayunda, so that her little girl would understand, if she didn't want to leave Ayunda.

"Tomorrow I come again, you think nothing of anything else, just think of me" Nathan chuckled with his own words, while Ayunda remained silent without blinking her eyes sign she agreed with Nathan's words.

Nathan said by peeping Ayunda's forehead "Don't forget, dream of me" Nathan whispered as he blinked one eye.

"Everything will be fine" the dreamy Nathan looked away at Dariel, his ever-loyal best friend who is now willing to be his personal driver as well.

"Hopefully" Nathan replied briefly.

Being able to rediscover his little girl makes Nathan happy, but facing Ayunda's hesitant attitude is enough to hurt him. "What do you think Kevin is?"

"meaning?" darel asked again, not understanding Nathan's question.

"His personal" Nathan explained.

"Is it because Ayunda used to love Kevin?" ask Dariel again. Nathan was silent. Thinking about it only made him even more upset. Annoyed too late to take the heart of Ayunda complacent first. He was given a chance at their first meeting. His selfish attitude that made Ayunda loose at that time.
