CHAPTER 38 ”Big Brown”

After registering the operation schedule, Ayunda and Alisa return to the office while Erick meets Mama Mira at his cake shop after pratek.

Mira cries after Erick explains her daughter's condition, it's hard for her daughter to live this life. But he realized that he had to be strong and give the spirit to Ayunda.

"We pray that all is well, ma'am" said Erick to calm Mira.

"Thank you doc, the doctor has been very good with our family" replied Mira who was really grateful, if only she could very much want Ayunda to be stupid with a good person like Erick.

Two days passed, Ayunda continued to work even though Mama Mira had asked to rest at home.

"Ijin tweets can only come out tomorrow ma" explained Ayunda why today he is still wanderlust to the office.

Since Ayunda's eyes are troubled, Alisa every day willing to be a driver for Ayunda, she will pick up Ayunda every morning and leave with the office.

"It's a good thing that our office is the same Nda, so I don't look like a driver to you" Alisa said on her way to the office, chuckling.

"Thank you Lis" that's all Ayunda can say, her best friend has helped her a lot during this time even though what Alisa said were words to comfort her.

They have arrived at the company and sit at their respective work tables. Ayunda is finishing her work, she has to prepare all of Nathan's schedules after he returns from his visit, today also has to be finished before he permits leave tomorrow.

dreett. dreett. An unknown number sent Ayunda a message.

"I'm waiting for you to have lunch at the restaurant in front of the company. Luna" a message from Luna.

"What need is it? I'm busy" Ayunda replied.

"There's not much to ask just come, or I'll do something to you" Luna threatened a little.

"Alright" Ayunda replied, not because of the threat from Luna, but she had not had lunch there for a long time, there was no harm in accepting Luna's invitation.

Lunch time came, it was time for Ayunda to meet Luna. Do not forget Ayunda sent a message to Alisa that she could not have lunch with him, fortunately Alisa was working outside the office.

"It seems like this has really been well planned" Ayunda muttered after Alisa gave it to him.

"Syunda's mom wants lunch outside?" ask a security guard who is quite familiar with Ayunda.

"Yes sir, there is a friend of mine in the opposite restaurant waiting" he replied.

"Be careful ma'am" said the security guard, he felt something was going to happen to Ayunda.

Ayunda nodded as she descended the two steps outside the lobby of the Adhipramana Group company, she was already on the side of the road and right in front of the Zebra cross. The sun is quite friendly with him, the light is not too hot to make Ayunda comfortable standing there.

But his comfort was interrupted when he felt his eyes fade, his head did not hurt but his eyes suddenly darkened, felt something hit him and made him hit a pole. Ayunda could feel something flowing from her nose and mouth, then heard the voice of the crowd shouting one very clear person called her Rara.

"Papa.." call Ayunda when she recognizes the figure of Papa Richad standing before her "Papa wants to pick Rara up ya pa" Papa Richad just smiled and left.

"Bec.... Rara's... Dear Rara open your eyes" Nathan's voice calling out to her sounded very clear.

Nathan could not calm down when he heard that Ayunda had been hit by someone, he immediately canceled his visit to the branch office and immediately returned to Jakarta.

"Nathan sit down" Siska's mother asked Nathan to sit down, since arriving in Jakarta two days ago until today Nathan like a man who lost control saw Ayunda filled with medical devices.

"Ma... Ayunda has been unconscious for two days" he replied, following the orders of Siska's mother.

Her feelings were even more chaotic after hearing the explanation of Mama Mira and Alisa about the brain tumor that Ayunda suffered.

"Mother Ayunda's patient's family" the nurse called.

Nathan immediately stood up to the nurse, because at this time only he and Siska's mother were guarding Ayunda, while Mama Mira was asked Nathan to come home to rest.

"I sus" Nathan replied after walking up to the nurse.

"Ayunda's mother was aware that you wanted to see it" the news brought by the nurse made a sense of relief in Nathan's heart and immediately painted a smile on his face.

Nathan came in after he was sterilized and used full clothes to get into the ICU room.

"Hi.. you're aware Ra, I'm worried about you, don't be like this anymore" he said, holding back the crystal grains that were already full in his eyes.

"Don't ever cover anything else from me, I'll always be with you" Nathan asked, clasping Ayunda's hand.

"I can't stay here for long, but I'm always waiting for you outside" Nathan told Ayunda as he peeked at her forehead. "I love you" he whispered and walked out of the room.

Two days passed, Ayunda was able to be transferred to the inpatient room. Mama Mira is currently guarding Ayunda, she walks open the door after hearing someone knocking on her.

"Kevin" said he was surprised to find out who was coming.

"Can I nudge him Ma" asked Kevin.

"Of course, come in" Mama Mira retreated her steps giving Kevin a way to enter.

"Nda... I'm sorry to see you today" Kevin handed Ayunda the white rose he brought, he knew so well what Ayunda loved.

"Thank you Kev, you still remember my favorite flower" Ayunda kissed the flower as she used to.

"I always remember everything about you, I'm sorry" Kevin squeezed Ayunda's fingers and apologized to her.

"I've forgiven you Kev, I already know why you did it all" Ayunda smiled, he recalls meeting the woman Kevin hired to pretend to be his girlfriend and explaining that everything Kevin planned.

"Thank you, I will never forget your sacrifice" Ayunda sincerely said.

Kevin does all because he does not want Ayunda to get hurt, Kevin's father threatens to kill Ayunda if Kevin keeps in touch with Ayunda.

Ayunda will never be hit by someone on the orders of Kevin's father, fortunately only then Kevin quickly saved Ayunda. Kevin knew it was his father's doing, because it was when his father threatened to finish Ayunda he had to follow his father's wishes, not wanting something dangerous to happen again to Ayunda.

Unfortunately what he does makes Ayunda crash and sleep long, getting into another world meeting new people who have never been known before. Now the girl he loves has a tumor and it is unknown what will happen next.

"Yunda. Let me make amends by staying by your side, looking after and caring for you" Kevin asked.

"I'm glad to hear you still love me Kev, even though I'm angry my love for you never goes away. But don't waste your time to stay with me, follow your father's wishes" Ayunda turned her back, she didn't want Kevin to see her cry.

Their five years together were not a little time, there was never a word of fuss or quarrel in their relationship, all beautiful and hard to forget.

"I'm coming home, I pray the operation goes well and you can be happy again" Kevin said, he knew Ayunda no longer wanted to talk to him.
