“Hah!” exclaimed Kean as he finished sipping the last warm tea water. “Blurp.”
“Sorry.” He even burps. Even though he was still alive, his voice was still heard.
Disa just smiled at the way Kean ate. It was like a person who hadn't eaten for months, very stifling. This is just pecel, how are you going to eat rice padang. Aih, rice field again.
“Gosh my stomach.” Kean rubbed his tight stomach from the satiety.
This time he ate this much. He did not care about the presence of spoons, forks and dinner knives. His hands immediately worked, mixing rice and side dishes and sambal in front of him and then escaped into his mouth to fill his stomach to the brim.
Lately he has no appetite. He drank more juice. Not without reason, his heart always felt lonely as he sat alone at the dining table without any Disa accompanying him. And tonight, like he was revenge for every meal he never enjoyed.
“You warm orange juice sir, so as not to nausea?” tawar Disa who noticed Kean was sitting on a chair with a hat that was already behind to the back. It turned out like this the other side of his new young master he knew.
Salah, Kean is no longer his young master but he is still not used to thinking of Kean as his young master.
“No, my stomach is full. Cannot eat or drink anything.” I'm with short breath.
He looked at his young master with his chin supported by both hands. It's funny to see Kean like this. The sweat that was pouring out and his reddish lips, looked very attractive to him. No longer look handsome men who always look perfect with hair drizzle and fragrant. No he denied, Kean like this turned out to be more interesting.
“Eat you a little?” Kean's gaze was shifted on Disa's plate. There were only a few chicken bones left on his plate unlike his plate.
“I ate enough sir.” Acutely. He had to admit, he did pay more attention to Kean instead of eating. Seeing Kean eating voraciously already made him full and that was more than enough.
“We walk yes, I start getting sleepy.” Kean's eyes felt so heavy. After that much food entered his stomach, a load began to rise into his eyes. And taking a walk might be able to relieve his drowsiness.
“Good sir.” He raised his hand to call the servant.
“Where's sis? Nambah?” ask the child with a face that looks at the food on the table almost entirely toilet.
“No, I'm full. Request bill.” After being full, Kean was still cynical to others.
“In the word cafe use bill, here I write.” The boy handed him a piece of rice paper containing the price details of the food Kean ate.
Too cheap for Kean to eat food that makes him full. It does not have to be expensive food that can make him enjoy his food.
He took some red money which he then put on rice paper.
“This is mostly om.” The boy cried, still calling.
“Take the change as tips.” Kean immediately moved, already unable to bear with his drowsiness.
“This is really?” exclaim the boy.
Disa who assented. “Still yes, the food is good. Hopefully the sales continue.” Said Disa representing Kean.
“Iya brother both. Hopefully the rejekinya add a lot.” Until the boy gave his thanks.
“Heheheh.. Yes equally.” Though he did not give money, but it felt very nice to see this kind of expression. So remember on his own expression when getting tips from amusement park visitors. Maybe not so different from this kid.
Disa runs after Kean who is already in the car. “Sorry waiting for sir.” His shorter footsteps left Disa behind.
“No problem. Where are you going now? Not yet sleepy, right?” eh tumben the question is relaxed? Is it because he is full, his mood is good?
“Not yet mr.” Disa shakes.
Kean smiled faintly, then started the car engine. Where it goes, we'll see.
“Lain times, we return to this place.” He said while giving a honking sign.
“Good sir.” Sahut Disa agreed.
Started to return the car to the streets. Seeing the atmosphere of the streets that are not too crowded, makes Kean think to go somewhere. Luckily he believed in Disa's eating problem so he could enjoy the different food sensations he had never found before.
Enjoying a warm night, Kean decides to go to a place that will definitely make Disa happy. Sure enough, Disa immediately jumped into excitement when she recognized the place they came to.
“Gosh! We're here?” he shouted as Kean pulled his car over in the parking lot of a beach.
“Hem, come down.” Kean Sahut.
Disa immediately descended, and ran around the parking lot like an excited little boy. He took off his sandals and preferred to hold them so that he could feel the soft sand that he inched.
Kean was following behind him, so smiling himself saw Disa who was so happy. Occasionally Disa road to the tiptoes, giving a deeper trail on the stretch of sand, sometimes he also rotates while stretching his hands enjoying the smell of the wind that blows caressing his face. He hasn't been here for a long time and it feels very longing.
Passing the wooden bridge illuminated by the lights, Kean and Disa walked aside. His lips were unceasingly smiling looking at the flashing stars lit up the pounding waves of the sea. The waves are chasing and occasionally break on the beach, making Disa's mood getting better.
Some days he locked himself in his room. Realizing his new design runs 80% and only accompanied by jazz music that he occasionally listened to. Only this time he felt detached from something that limited him even though he could still enjoy. But being in the free realm, made his soul feel even more alive. There was a lot of inspiration that often came to his mind.
Kean was still standing staring at the waves. Disa was sitting on her favorite bench. He noticed Kean who was adjusting his breath to expel drowsiness. His calm and happy face gave him a warm feeling that made Disa reluctant to blink her eyes.
Kean and the sea, two things that made his soul feel alive.
“Not sleepy sir?” disa asked as Kean sat beside her.
“Em, no.” Without taking his eyes off the beach. “It feels like I'm starting to understand why you like coming to this place.” This time Kean turned his head to Disa and looked at her quite the page.
Like there was a small shock in his heart that made his chest cavity circulate quickly.
“Everyone has their own feelings when looking at the beach. But one thing is definitely the same, which is serenity.” I'm Disa.
For a moment he looked at Kean with a thin smile, rubbed his hair that flew covering part of his face and then returned to look at the open sea.
Kean so smiled to himself looking at the beautiful face that was under the light of the moon.
“You've thought about it?” ask Kean later.
Actually Disa still wants to enjoy a time where she does not need to think about anything, just enjoy what is happening in front of her. But Kean seemed to have been impatient to find out what Disa was thinking.
“I, can't imagine what you're feeling right now. I also apologize that the current mamah way feels like trapping and forcing you.” Kean tried to neutralize the awkward atmosphere.
“I know enough mamah, someone who does not easily put his trust and affection on others, not much different from me.” Kean smiled at the end of his sentence.
“But I can assure you, if your affection towards you is sincere without any reason.”
One affirmation that made Disa turn to look at her young master. The man was looking at him warmly, making the feeling of Disa as rumbling as the waves.
“Today it may be a little overwhelming to treat those around you but believe me, mamah never meant to demean or pity anyone.”
This time it was certainly about Arini's move that suddenly sent the Disa family a lot of stuff. Kean had already banned her because it was possible that Disa and her family would be offended. But Arini cannot be denied. He strongly believed that the mind of Disa was not that narrow.
“Do not feel burdened by what you do. Mamah does not mean to make you feel indebted or anything like that to force you to accept the demand of mamah. You are still free to choose sa.”
“Although your choice is no, I will still try to fix everything. You can still go to Paris to learn design, without having to be affected by the results of this competition.”
“Yes, I know, this is not enough to correct the mistakes I made, by risking your good name and your honor in front of many people.”
“But, I have more respect for your choice. I don't want to make you feel trapped, let alone make you feel like you have to endure the mistakes I made. I keep it.” said Kean with full seriousness.
At this point, Disa felt Kean was doing this not because of Arini's request. Perhaps this was different from his doubts towards Reza back then. The way Kean thought about his feelings, respected him and treated him in a special way, Disa Yakini he would never get from any man. Even though with the strength and wealth he had, Kean could have done the opposite.
Unknowingly, he so compared the two male attention that had made his heart beat fast. Is this wrong?
“Master,” still has his feelings and he must ask.
“Hem,.” Kean was still staring at him. Warm and full of feeling.
“When you asked me to wait, was it just a game to make me happy when you never thought for a wedding?” the question escaped with difficulty from the mouth of Disa.
Kean sighed deeply then shook his head.
“No sa. I never meant to play you."
"I meant it when I asked you to wait. But on the way, I realized that you are not obligated to bear my shortcomings.” sounds sincere Kean said it.
“What about can not give me descent?” Disa locked her questions and eyes on Kean.
Kean nodded weakly, then lowered his head. Can't bear to see those glaring eyes.
Disa understood. He remembers what happened the first time he met Kean. He cursed the man with anger. Did God hear it then? Or did the angel record it?
His face looked up at the star-filled night sky. His mind is still flogging. He does not accept Kean just because of guilt for his words. He must think about the consequences in the future. Maybe a child he can get with adobsi or something but, what does it feel like to be the same? Can he survive by not saying that the child is not a child born from his womb?
Too far, his mind is too far away. But this he must think about. Because a marriage is not just about the pleasure of being next to our loved ones. But it's about keeping the commitment to survive even the most difficult conditions.
Until returning to the hotel, Disa has not given any answers. The two were still silent, engrossed in their respective thoughts.
Occasionally Kean looked at the face of the woman walking beside him. Serious and deep thinking. He knew it was a hard choice for Disa.
Still clearly remembered when his aunt and grandmother warned Disa to have many children so as not to feel lonely in her old age. Akh, Kean is so really sorry to have done that a few days ago. It shouldn't end like this, right?
Arriving at the door of Disa's room, the two were silent to each other. They look at each other like many who want to say but somehow have to start from where. Disa gives him a thin smile which makes Kean reflex to reply to her.
“Thank you for today mr.” Lirih Disa before saying goodbye. The tiredness he felt these few days suddenly disappeared. Like some of his burden has gone.
“Hem, thank you back.” Kean Sahut. It feels heavy to go from hadapaan Disa.
Unexpected things happened, when suddenly Disa tiptoed and peeked at Kean's cheek. Only a few seconds but able to make Kean fixated for some time.
“Goodnight sir.” He said with a crimson face, enduring embarrassment.
She bit her own lips while closing her eyes tightly for a while. I don't know what prompted him to do that to Kean. Shouldn't he make each other more confused?
“Can,” Kean hold off Disa's hand as the girl will pass.
“Ya I.”
The trouble is that it can be said. He tightened his hand, trying to hold back his increasingly turbulent heart as Kean held his hand.
“Ending this here, if you have any doubts.” Whisper something in his mind. As the plan, he had to be firm.
Unfortunately, his heart was the opposite of his mind. His feelings are getting stronger and more certain.
Kean held onto Disa's shoulder and then turned His body to face her. Wearing a hoodie to cover his head and only visible face Disa in front of him.
Within a few seconds, he brought his body closer to Disa, slightly bending over making a very close distance between the two. Not wasting time, until he kissed his lips gently.
One warm kiss made Disa's body stiffen, her mind was empty and she was foolish not to refuse. Kean let go for a moment, staring at the reddened face of Disa and was very fond of her. Kean came back closer, peeling for the second time.
He was aware of what was going on between them, but he did not refuse because he did not want to reject it.
Kean's kiss turned into a pagutan that sipped every corner of Disa's lips with passion. A little reply for a while until Disa gasps with fatigue makes Kean have to finish what he started.
Placing his forehead on Disa's forehead, he tried to regulate his hunting breath. In her eyes Disa clear with a very close distance to the eyelashes both almost interlocked.
“What does this mean yes?” whispered Kean who makes the feathers of Disa bristles comfortably.
Disa did not chim in, she just nodded slowly assuring Kean's question. Yes, this is his choice and he is very confident in his choice. Not because of a momentary passion but because his feelings were still the same for Kean. He has walked so far, trying to release Kean completely but in fact the situation makes them faced with the choice to survive. Maybe he must take a risk, so that later he does not regret, stop the step where he should continue to walk and survive.
So, this is his choice. Survive with Kean.
Kean smiled happily. In his arms was Disa tightly. He no longer cares if CCTV captures what they do.
“Serah!” thought.
He just wants to enjoy this time, a time when they can have each other as lovers who love each other, without any regret later on because they let go of someone they should have defended.
“Thank you sa, thank you.”
