Downstairs Disa brought her peer this morning. A laundry basket he took to the kitchen.
“Young donna? Good morning.” Sapa Tina who was surprised to see the arrival of Disa.
“Morning, sorry to disturb you breakfast.” There was a plate of food that was only half eaten by Tina. He immediately wiped his mouth from the rest of the food as soon as Disa came.
“It's okay young lady. Can I help you?” it was awkward to hear that sentence from his own friend.
Tina looked at the basket of clothes Disa was carrying. It contains bed linen and other linen materials. He smiled as if he was thinking of something in his head.
“I want to be holy. You guys are not holy again?”
"Not exactly my mind?" Inner Tina in the liver.
“Washing used overnight miss?” pointing the basket with the corner of his eye. Her lips held a smile imagining what this newlywed did last night.
“Iya. I'm with nyuci yaa.” Disa went straight to the linen room, where she used to work.
“I help miss.” Tina immediately chased after. Where could he have let his young lady wash herself.
“You'll eat again, continue aja.” Timpal Disa with a line of smiles.
One by one the cloth he put into the washing machine without feeling burdened. Tina had to admit, even though Disa had become her young lady, she did not necessarily make her attitude change. Cana is still the same person, one who does not like to trouble others.
“I'm done miss, let me help. Miss can sit first.” Tina picked up the cloth that was in Disa's hands without excuse. In his mind, if Kinar knew he was letting his young lady wash herself, the story would be over.
“But na,” so it's not good to disturb Tina eating. His friends must set aside time to take care of themselves before doing the demanding daily work.
“It's okay. I can have my breakfast later. Anyway I'm full.” Almost the same answer that he used to say to his master. And not necessarily the meaning as it is said.
Is only smiling. He looked at his friend who was being nice to him.
Tina continued the work of Disa, putting the cloth into the washing machine. But his eyes immediately rounded when he saw the bloodstains on his bed sheet.
“Nona, what is this much?” staring at the bloodstains in disbelief.
“Iya, I forgot to change.” Answer with another intention.
Tina's hair immediately brushed, horrified to imagine what happened to Disa last night. He also glanced at Disa from top to bottom, but did not find the slightest change in posture there was a young lady. Maybe this morning his whole body felt crumpled.
“Yes already, I made breakfast first yes.” They are headed to the cooking place.
“Sa-I help miss.” Pause Tina. Again, he couldn't possibly let Disa cook.
“Na, I can do it myself. Hem?” Disa held back Tina's hand intending to take an apron from her hand.
“But, maybe miss tired, now just rest.”
“Tired? Tired what? I'm sleeping, my battery's full na.” Could have been chuckling considering he slept last night very soundly. Must not move one bit.
“Oh yes? But,” is still imagining what Disa said. How could this young lady's best friend sleep all night.
“Udah, I can do this myself. So just relax okay.” Disa was wearing her apron and Tina was only fixated with her mischievous thoughts.
“Ba-good miss.” Never mind, Disa can't be denied. He was too independent to ask for help. Finally he returned to the washing machine and continued his work while occasionally paying attention to Disa.
Disa started making breakfast for her husband. Stuffed bread, Kean's favorite breakfast menu that has not been made by himself for a long time. His hand moving agilely concocting groceries also made juice for Kean.
Not long heard the sound of footsteps and the sound of approaching chatter. The voices of Wita and Nina.
"You're the one who gave me his number, won't be mad at him."
"I don't want akh, not necessarily kak tina want."
“Na, bang revelation nitip greetings noh!” wita from a distance.
“Sstt!!!” Tina immediately hissed, coding her two friends to keep the attitude.
“Apaan anyway! I'm just saying, he asked for your phone number! He,” sentence Wita immediately stopped when he saw Disa was smiling to welcome his arrival.
“Se-good morning young miss.” Shocked is not a bitch. Tina gave him a signal to be quiet.
“Pagi. Out of the market?” timpal Disa's.
He remembered right, if at this time usually his two friends went to the market to buy materials for lunch later. One person prepares breakfast.
“Iya miss.” Reply Wita timidly.
No longer seen his attitude that is sometimes a little rude. Admittedly, he misses the attitude of his old friends. Their behavior is what it is without having to bother to keep the attitude in front of him. Honestly, sometimes it doesn't make him comfortable.
“Yes, what are you doing?”
Nina who was following from behind immediately approached Disa. Hearing the words of her best friend, Tina and Wita's eyes immediately rounded.
Confidently he approached Disa and stood beside her watching what Disa was doing.
“Bikin breakfast. You want na?”
“Waahh this is delicious. What I think is called breakfast. What you made mah,” Nina paused her sentence when she saw the expressions of her two friends who clenched their lips asking her to be silent, while shaking her head and glaring.
“NINA!” a voice that makes them flinch. Of course the voice of Kinar made them instantly silent.
The middle-aged woman approached them and looked at Nina cynically.
“Can't you keep your attitude towards young miss?” kinar's question seemed to remind Nina of who Disa is now.
Nina immediately snorted softly, aware of her mistake. His originally upright shoulders were now sagging. In his lyrics Disa with a tense and scared smile.
“I'm sorry young miss.” It was full of regrets.
Is only smiling. He knew his friend would definitely get a scolding from Kinar.
“So easy-going pa-pa." He did not mind Nina's attitude towards him.
"I make a lot of filling bread, if you want please."
"I'm done making young master.” Terang Disa relaxed.
But Kinar was not that relaxed, he looked at the three friends of Disa alternately with sharp gazes that made their guts shrink.
He was soon to finish his job. He knew what the consequences would be on his three friends if he was too long in the kitchen. Arrange the food and drink he made for Kean and himself on the tray.
After everything was done, he took off his apron and his three friends could only look at him.
“I help miss.” Kinar was trying to help Disa.
"Oh yeah, don't get mad at my friend, she didn't mean it." glanced at the frightened Nina without daring to raise her face and look at Kinar.
"First yes.” he said while carrying the tray in his hand.
Kinar's hand hangs, in Disa's disregarded. The girl waltzed away leaving him with an anger that had not gone away on Nina.
“You know your mistake?” that sentence was then heard from a distance.
He could only shake his head while hoping that Nina would not get a severe punishment. However he knows, changing habits with a rapid change of conditions is not easy. Including the habit of considering himself a part of the Hardjoyo nuclear family.
In his room, Kean had finished bathing and was wearing his clothes. Disa's guess was right, that Kean would spend quite a long time in the bathroom so that he could finish before Kean waited for him.
The man stares himself in the mirror. Pairing the shirt button on his left hand then smoothed the fold of the shirt on his waist. Can always prepare clothes that are comfortable and suitable for him.
When he saw the arrival of Disa, he immediately approached.
“Wah, the breakfast I was waiting for.” He said as he took the tray from Disa's hand.
“I can kok a.” He tried to keep what was in his hands.
“You've cooked, I brought it to the balcony.” Undeniable, Kean walked first in front of Disa.
Placing the tray on the table then Kean pulled the chair to Disa sitting.
“Thank you a.” how sweet Kean's treatment of him.
The man just nodded and sat facing Disa. One stalk of Disa bread was thrust in front of Kean and Kean's eyes were instantly rounded. In the smell of good food, stimulating his appetite to immediately enjoy the solid food.
Without a doubt, he devoured the sandwich making both of his cheeks bulge full of food in a quick time.
“Em, it's better than I made.” He said with a mouth full of food. His mouth was still chewing greedily as it could not wait to enjoy the next bite.
“Aa a lot of breakfast, so that the work is focused. Said a good day at starting from a good breakfast.” Closer a glass of juice to Kean. It was nice to see Kean so excited to enjoy his breakfast.
"Kaya tagline ad aja you sa." ledek Kean who chuckles. They both threw crisp laughs.
One phone call came from Kean's phone. Kean immediately swallowed his food round and round before answering the call and turning on the loud speaker mode.
“Iya mah.” Arini.
“Nak, where are you? How come there's nothing in the hotel room? It's time for breakfast. There is also no.” Arini's voice sounded panicked.
Jeez forgot, last night they didn't tell Arini they were coming home.
“Kean at home mah. Last night I wanted to see papah.” Kean glanced at Disa who was also listening to the conversation.
“Meet papah? Why papah why?” look, Arini's always worried about Sigit.
“Gak pa-pa's. Only want to see you.” Not too keen to discuss Disa's request last night which sometimes upset her.
“Yes, there first. After breakfast mamah sama fira also come home. Someone wants to love the same in.” Cerocos Arini quickly. It seemed like the nerves on his face were getting better so he could speak quickly.
“Iya mah.”
Not long after that the call was interrupted. Disa smiled faintly, she always felt warm when she saw Kean's interaction with Arini. She said, one of the criteria for a good husband is to look at his attitude to his mother. And Kean's attitude towards Arini is very special. He puts Arini at the top of his priorities. That is what makes Disa does not hesitate to agree with Kean as her husband.
“What are your plans today sa?” Kean broke the atmosphere that was silent. In his eyes Disa with an attentive page.
Disa seemed to think, it was not imagined what he would do all day.
“Em, aa want lunch at home what in office?” the idea of cooking lunch was on his mind at the moment.
“I ate outside. Coincidentally there are business partners who have met to discuss the opening of a factory outside the city.”
Disa understood. “I'll want to nemenin papah ya.” This thought then arises.
“For what? We have a nurse who'll take care of Papah. You are just in the room, want to paint may later I ask Roy send painting tools. Or you can watch with the bad boy and nemenin mamah chat.” must be what Shafira means.
“No need to take care of papah.” Kean's emotions are always unstable when it comes to Sigit.
“A,.” Disa grabbed Kean's hand and placed his hand on her husband's.
“Will tell me to be indifferent to the people at home? Papah is part of this house as well.” Trying to persuade Kean even though he knew it would be quite difficult.
Kean seemed to be exhaling violently, Disa's words were indeed true and he could not refute. It's just that he doesn't like it.
“Do what makes you happy but, don't take too much care of people you don't need to take care of. We already paid the nurse so don't feel obligated to you to take care of her.” Kean with his firmness.
All right, this time it's just fine. It is not good to argue when the day is just about to start. See what she can do but not make her husband angry.
“Iya. There will also be mamah at home, at most I will be the same mama. Aa home do not be lazy..” Disa change her voice a little spoiled, maybe this will be powerful to lower Kean's anger.
“Yes, I will not go home malem. I'll make sure you have dinner at home. But remember, let bu kinar cook. You don't have to bother.” Kean seemed to be keeping him away from the work he used to do.
Is this one treat like a queen?
Disa nodded slowly.
“I'm done, leave first. There was a meeting this morning.” Kean looked at the watch in his hand, it was almost 8 o'clock.
“Drink the juice first, I was not perfect to make before aa sports.”
Kean immediately sipped the juice in his glass, always liking it when Kean liked what he made for him.
Getting off the balcony, Disa immediately helped Kean get ready. Wear a tie as usual and of course a neat suit.
“I didn't last long, hem. Fine at home.” Said Kean while holding both shoulders Disa and then rubbed it.
“Yes, aa also be careful on the road. Her work spirit and do not forget to eat.”
“Hem, dah.” One kiss of Kean was gifted on Disa's forehead.
Disa closed her eyes for a while, it felt very calm when the heart already had a place to lean.
In the next second, Kean passed. “Assalamu ‘alaikum..” said Disa while waving.
“Wa’alaikum salam.” said Kean with a line of smiles before leaving.
Upside? Yep! Just not used to it.
