“Sorry yes vin, if dady makes you uncomfortable?” the sentence was shouted Shafira in Malvin's bonnet. He was holding on to the edge of Malvin's jacket, like riding an ojek.
“It’s okey,” Malvin slightly slowed down the speed of the motor so that the sound of the wind did not get too far in their conversation. The glass of his helmet he opened so that his voice was clearer.
“Very natural, every father worries about his son. I would do the same to my brothers.” Its effects.
Yes, having two teenage sisters growing up the anxiety that Sigit felt was not much different from Malvin's anxiety for his sisters. He could understand very well.
“Dady is cold but really good too.” Shafira tries to explain.
“Yes, basically every one of those people and every father is the first love of his daughter.”
Shafira just smiled at Malvin's words. Sigit was his first love as a girl, but this broad-shouldered man in front of him was his first love as a teenager. It's just, not meeting a beautiful ending.
From the left rearview Malvin watched the smiling Shafira behind him. His body was upright as if keeping a distance from him. Malvin pulled the bike over for a moment,
“Why vin?” Shafira who was in the bollard hesitated to stay seated or down.
“Gak nothing.” Malvin took off the backpack that covered his chest and flipped his bag and placed it on his back. “Lo can handle to my bag to make it more convenient.” His impression turned to Shafira.
As he knew that Shafira was not comfortable with the sitting position that must keep the distance so as not to stick.
“Oh yes, thanks vin.” Eventually Shafira moved her hand holding onto the strap of Malvin's bag with her body not very upright. At least his back is not sore because it can lean on the back of Malvin who blocked the bag.
This always makes every woman feel honored to be treated by Malvin. He knows how to treat a woman in a simple yet meaningful way. If he were still as passionate about Malvin as he used to be, maybe his heart would be pounding as it was when he first met Malvin.
But this time, wait, why did he even feel so calm? The calm she had never felt when she was near a man. Malvin looked after him in an unusual way and felt special.
“That's the place?” malvin's voice stopped Shafira's thoughts about the sturdy man in front of her.
“I-iya vin.” Confused himself with his current thoughts and feelings to the point of not focusing.
“It looks like it has started, not too late are we fir?” Malvin turned his head, the helmet glass that was not closed made Shafira's view perpendicular to the pair of eagle eyes that looked at him.
“Hah?” momentarily stunned. Malvin's voice for 4 years is often heard by telephone or video to discuss music, such as a familiar melody in his head.
In the past, let alone having the courage to send a message or call, the intention to say hello must be gathered a few hours before. But in England, Malvin's voice seemed to be his most loyal friend. Accompany him when alone, sometimes until he falls asleep.
“Fir? Hey!” Malvin flicked his finger in front of Shafira.
“Hah, yes how?” just this time his heart almost fell to the bottom of the stomach. Aarrgghh felt shocked and grieved, as his stomach acid instantly rose.
“It looks like we're late, tuh!” Malvin pointed with the corner of his eye towards the crowded gallery page. A little boy was running around playing fireworks in his hands. Looks like it's Ghea, a very sweet long-haired little boy Shafira once saw on Ellen's social media account.
“Nothing. What matters is coming. Will not be in the law also time guru.” timpalnya lightly even though his heart melos see Reza who is engrossed in laughing with Ghea and Ellen.
Enter the gate and park his motorcycle in the yard and notice Shafira who seems hesitant to approach and instead holds the helmet strap.
“Why, hard?” ask Malvin.
“Hem? Um no kok.” Soon Shafira took off her helmet and tried to smile while looking at the warmth in front of her. Does he have to come or is he quiet enough here?
“Dek!!” too late, Reza had already seen him. The man ran over to Shafira with his cheerful face full of happiness.
“New kok dateng anyway?” Reza took the helmet from Shafira's hand and put it on Malvin's motorcycle handlebar.
“I-Yes, it was out last time the same cement-temen until not kasa.” Shafira looks at Malvin.
“Vin, max yes nganterin fira. Yuk join!” Reza patted Malvin on the shoulder and invited him to join. While one hand clasped Shafira's hand for her to pull.
Shafira just looked at her hand that Reza was pulling with an erratic feeling.
“Fira, aunty thought you would not dateng... How malem really?” Nita immediately greeted him and kissed Shafira's cheeks left and right.
“Yes, sorry aunt, I'm late.” Reza's hand held him. He realized, Ellen who walked closer saw what Reza did to him.
“Ya already ayok eat, earlier we eat because ghea ngerengek laper.” bargain Nita with friendly.
Can be seen the familiarity of Nita with prospective grandchildren, he continued. Then, isn't this what Shafira expected, but why is her feeling even uncomfortable?
“Oh yes aunt, it's okay. Fira also has a lot of snacks together temen-temen.” He glanced at Malvin so as not to protest. Don't let Malvin say that they deliberately haven't eaten because they will eat in the gallery.
“Oh so, yes already aunty already ready for a snack, said reza it's your favorite food. There's a meatballs toast the same french fries.”
“Iya aunt, thanks.” The food was indeed Shafira's favorite but this time she was not tasteful.
“Hay fir,” welcome Ellen. He embraces Shafira and whispers, “Thank the surprise.”
Shafira just nodded. It seems like what he planned did work.
Malvin looked at Shafira's smiling face but did not look happy. Where did Shafira go a few hours ago so enthusiastic and cheerful?
“Oh yes, knowin, this is ghea. Ghea, let's salim with sister fira.” He approached his daughter to get acquainted with Shafira.
“Hay, sis. Must be this brother fira who sounds good, huh? Isn't it mom?” ask the dimpled child. Ellen nodded in response.
“Haaayy.. You must be a ghea who likes violinists, right?” Shafira tried to melt her mood. He has decided to enter this environment so he must blend.
“Iya brother. About reza who taught.” They both turned to look at Reza who was standing behind Ghea and embracing Ellen's waist comfortably.
I don't know why Shafira swallowed her saliva so roughly. His stomach was nauseous and his feelings started to get out of control.
“Oh yes? We will duet yes.”
“Okey brother. Now brother want to not play fireworks with me?” Ghea showed some fireworks in her hands.
“Mau dong! Yuk vin, join!” bring Shafira. Malvin nodded in agreement. “I live first yes sister, aunt,.” say goodbye to Reza, Ellen and Nita.
“Iya, nitip ghea yes fir.” Ellen's Message.
“Okey.” Shafira raised her thumb in response.
Malvin lights one up and looks at the spark like he's remembering memories from the past. Where happiness is enough to see the fireworks with his loved ones once a year. But after growing up, happiness began to feel expensive.
In his place, while holding fireworks, Shafira's attention was on Ellen and Reza who were engrossed in conversation. They laughed happily, occasionally Reza rubbed Ellen's head and kissed her. The same thing Reza often does to her when they're joking.
What is different is the way Reza and Ellen look at each other. There is a warmth that Shafira does not get as Ellen gets. Reza unobtrusively rubbed Ellen's face gently making the beautiful woman's face blush as she gave a smile. I don't know what Reza said while bringing her face closer to Ellen and the heads of the two fused for a while.
“Kak fira, whose sister fira has died of fireworks, this is a new change.” Said Ghea sitting next to him.
Shafira did not respond. His gaze was still fixed on the lovers who were drunk with love. There was a pain in his heart but it did not make Shafira turn her eyes away from Reza and Ellen.
“Kak fira, it's already on.” Ghea. The boy took the extinguished firework stalk from Shafira's hand and placed a new one. Who would have thought, Shafira even touched the middle of the light.
“AWH!” shafira snorted as she grasped the fiery red part of the fireworks.
“Fir, are you okay?” Malvin immediately threw his fireworks and examined Shafira's flushed palm.
“Gak nothing.” I am Shafira though her palms are sore, hot and sore. It's just not as painful as seeing Reza being so close to Ellen.
“BUNDA!! Sister fira,” shouted Ghea calling Ellen. He panicked to see Shafira in pain because of the fireworks he gave her.
“ASTAGA!!” Reza immediately ran over when she realized Shafira was in pain holding her hand.
“You why deck?” Reza immediately grabbed Shafira's hand and looked at her red palm with burns.
“Nothing brother.” His voice sounded trembling withstanding the cries.
“Nothing what, this is your hand red gini.” Reza, panic.
“I SAID I'M NOTHING!!!” shafira shouted as she shook Reza's hand.
He looked at Reza with his wet eyes. His palms were numb and felt nothing, changing his heart that was hurting felt pain.
The people in front of Shafira looked flabbergasted at Shafira's exclamation which held anger.
“CAN'T SISTER REZA STOP WELL WITH ME?!"
"I'M PISSED OFF, I'M ANGRY AND I HATE IT BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO PREPARE TO LOSE ALL THAT!!!” shafira continued with tears.
“Dek, what do you mean?” Reza immediately approached, trying to grab Shafira's arm but the girl chose to retreat away.
He no longer wanted to see Reza, his anger was still immense. Either angry at Reza, at Ellen or at herself.
Each fell silent, trying to understand what Shafira was saying. Until then Shafira realized from the words she should not have said and made Ellen annoyed. He realized he had made a new problem. The problem that started from his misunderstanding meant Reza's attention all along.
“Sorry,” omitted. Without waiting for long, he chose to leave in front of the people around him.
“FIRA!” call Reza, but Shafira ignores him. He chose to continue his steps which later followed Malvin.
Shafira actually left, riding on the Malvin bike which then drove away.
For a while Reza stayed in his place, trying to understand what Shafira said and the reason for Shafira's anger until she cried. Of course, not just because his hands hurt by fireworks.
Reza breathed a rough breath, as he turned his head and met Ellen's eyes, changed Ellen who dodged and left.
“Len, wait!” call Reza.
Ellen stopped her steps but did not turn around. I think he knows exactly what Shafira is feeling right now. The same feeling as he felt when Reza pursued Disa and made him misunderstand all of Reza's attitude.
“I can explain it.” Lirih Reza's.
Ellen smiled crazily, “Explain, what can you explain?” ask Ellen.
Reza first approached and grabbed Ellen's hand, but Ellen flicked and turned to look at Reza in disappointment.
“Are you not aware of what you have been doing all this time?” ellen's question sounded repressive, as the words were aimed at slapping her to make her realize.
“I'm sorry.” Yes, he could only apologize for all these misunderstandings.
Ellen smiled faintly, then turned her face away from Reza. He breathed deeply but then his tears kept dripping.
“You know, I really appreciate your kind attitude towards anyone especially a woman. You reasoned that the woman was there to protect, love and care for, I totally agree with that.”
“But you have to know, there is a limit where you have to be able to distinguish who you are doing it to and what it looks like. On the woman you want because you love her or only on the woman you want to take care of without making her feel the feelings she shouldn't.”
“4 years, we agreed to think about all that during these 4 years. I do not forbid you to go and give you the widest space to understand your own feelings as I.”
“But it seems, you did the same thing you did to me, to Shafira. You crossed that line because you couldn't help it. You always want to prove that a Casanova like you can make the heart of any woman bend to the knee with everything you do.”
“Are you satisfied with what is happening now?”
“You not only made shafira's feelings faint, but our feelings were. Can we continue our relationship with this faint feeling?” ellen said, with tears coming. Reza's eyes were full of disappointment.
All the grunts that he had been holding all this time he finally spilled just like that. For him, Reza never changes because he does not want to change.
“Len, I never meant it that way. Me,”
“Sstt...” Ellen placed her index finger on Reza's lips. “Don't say anything.” The Jeda.
“You better think first everything is mature.”
“You must remember, the four years we promised, not requiring you to choose me. You men are free and not bound by any commitment with me.”
“For now, it seems like you need time to think things through and I also need time to reassure my heart. Hem?” Ellen rubbed Reza's cheeks with affection.
The originally bloated sense of happiness now turned into a hot air balloon that slowly reduced the air pressure towards empty. Yes empty, as all of Ellen's current beliefs are lost with Shafira's broken feelings.
Can this relationship survive?
