Chapters 12. Father and Mommy's Plan

“Stop!” peter's father's shout finally managed to end the tension between Noah and Alfio.

Sea still hugged her husband, keeping Noah from throwing his punches at Alfio. Alfio is helped by Kang Deden, a gardener who works at the Myles family residence.

“Noah! The sea! What happened?!” Father Peter's baritone voice echoed the tension of the two men.

“Who is he?” Father Peter's gaze scanned the figure of the man staring at his son with a glint of fury in his eyes.

“Just ask your beloved daughter-in-law, who is that man!” Noah answered and violently released Sea's embrace on his body and pushed the woman's body away from him. Then without another word, Noah left the place.

The sea that had been trembling from fear, was limp and almost fell because of Noah's actions just now. Lucky Mami Joanna spooked and caught Sea's body.

“Gil*!” Alfio's emotions grew fiery seeing Noah's rude behavior at Sea. Almost the man forced to break away from Kang Deden's grip if Peter's father did not open his voice.

“Whatever you are, I beg you please go from my residence!”

Although Peter's father's request was very clear, but Alfio still did not budge from his place. How could he leave Sea with a man like Noah, an arrogant and rude man.

Seeing that there was doubt and worry in Alfio's eyes, Peter's father immediately reassured the man again. “This is our family problem, let us solve it by ourselves. You don't have to worry, Sea's safety will be our responsibility.”

While Sea continued to bow in the embrace of Mami Joanna, did not dare to look at Father Peter or Alfio.

“Sea, I'm going first. Take care of yourself,” Alfio said before it passed.

There was no reply from the woman, but her trembling shoulders could explain that she was crying right now. Mami Joanna realized all that, gently she wiped Sea's arm to calm him down.

Sea nodded then followed Mami Joanna's footsteps leading into the house. The two women were followed by Peter's father after he confirmed that the man involved in the ruckus with his son had actually left his residence.

Sea's body stiffened as he saw Noah sitting on the living room sofa, his sharp gaze fixed directly on his wife's figure. Gaining such a look, Sea suddenly tightened his hand on Mami Joanna's arm.

The pain in his ankle and arm had not healed properly, then the man had almost returned to physically hurting. So it's not wrong if Sea now feels afraid to be close to Noah.

“What the hell was Noah?” Peter's father snapped at his son.

Noah turned his face away, abstaining from him refuting or going against his parents. “Don't ask me, Yah.” Answer Noah flat.

“Ask your beloved daughter-in-law, where she has been all day and with whom.”

Peter's father breathed heavily. “Sea, answer your husband's questions. Who was that guy and were you with him all day?”

With the tears that had already flooded her beautiful face, Sea gathered all of her remaining courage.

“He's just my friend, his name is Alfio.” Answer Sea honestly. “I know him because he owns a restaurant in front of my campus,” added Sea.

“It is fitting that you spend more and more time on campus,” by Noah. “So you can have an affair! Aye right?!”

“Mas!”

“Noah!” Pekik Sea and Noah's parents together.

“Jaga your words Noah! You can't accuse your wife without proof,” Peter's father said.

“Checking Mas? You call me cheating just because Brother Alfio drove me home?” ask Sea.

“Then how about you make out with the lady doctor in the hospital canteen,” challenge Sea. Finally, his heart succeeded in revealing it.

“I don't hear from anyone, but I see with my own eyes and head!” Answer Sea.

“You have accused me of killing your lover, and now you accuse me of cheating, Mas.”

“Why don't you ever want to hear my explanation first?” the crying Sea was becoming more and more.

Mami Joanna felt sorry for her daughter-in-law. Almost four years of nurturing her, made her quite know how the character of the girl was.

“You're right Mas, I've been with Alfio all day. He took me to his photo gallery and it was enough to help me forget the fact that I had met that woman again in your practice room!” Sea reveals everything.

“Whose woman do you mean?” noah asked not to understand. He really didn't understand what Sea said.

“What besides Doctor named Alesandra, there are still other female doctors who are alone with you Mas, today?”

“Alesandra? Where do you know

about him?” asked Noah confused, as he remembered he had never introduced Noah to Sea.

“I met him while delivering lunch for you, Mas.”

Noah is getting into a dilemma, who should he trust. Has Alesandra lied? Didn't he say that the delivery box was a courier?

“Alesandra is a new doctor in the hospital, I only occasionally help her.” Obviously Noah, but the explanation he aimed for both parents. Noah doesn't want his parents to misunderstand him.

No one wants to be blamed and no one wants to give up. Sea was really disappointed with her husband's attitude that directly attacked Alfio asked first. Mas Noah never wanted to listen to my explanation, Inner Sea thrashed in disappointment.

But when he was about to eat breakfast, at the dinner table Sea and Noah saw his parents who had looked neat. But what caught Noah's attention was 2 suitcases in the corner of the dining room.

“Who wants to travel?” ask Noah.

“We,” Mami Joanna replied briefly.

“Kita? Mean Mami?” cecar Noah's.

“Yes, we . Dad, Mommy, and the two of you too . We'll go on holiday,” obviously Mami is excited.

No time Noah refused, Mami had already given a warning. “Because we did not accept rejection, then for Noah leave at the hospital and Sea permission on campus has been taken care of by Dad's secretary,” he added.

No more reason to refuse, Sea and Noah are forced to agree to a vacation with their parents.

Somehow later, whether the two will enjoy the holidays this time or just the awkwardness that fills their journey.
