Chapter 24. What happened to Sea?

Sea's cell phone echoes the sound of the Adhan, a sign that now is the time for the pregnant woman to wake up from her sleep. His eyes were finally awake. Despite only sleeping for 2 hours, Sea is already very grateful because he can still rest for a moment in his mind and physique. Especially at this moment, there was life in her womb that she had to take care of.

Not wanting to miss the precious dawn, Sea rushes up, cleans his body and fulfills his duty as a Muslim. The two rakaat which he was obliged to do solemnly. Now the time came for the Sea to gather itself, asking forgiveness and strength from Him, the Creator of the Almighty.

Both of his hands were looking up. "Rabbi habli min ladunka dzurriyatan thayyiban innaka sami'ud du'a."

"O Allah, give me from Your side a good son. Verily, You are the Hearer of prayer."

“Yes Allah, You are All-Knowing of what is in my heart. I am so grateful for the gift that only comes from You, O God. Only to Thee now do I ask for refuge, to Thee I ask for strength to keep Thy trust.”

A thread of tears dripped from the Sea's eye patch. His lips quivered in every word he said in his prayer. Thinking of the worst possibility if Noah would reject the presence of the baby in his womb, tears flooded his face even more.

“Although I have to fight and survive alone, with the permission of the Divine, I will be able to,” he muttered.

There was the chanting of holy verses of the Qur'an that echoed from the spacious room which was unfortunately quiet. This has become a habit of the sea. From the sofa that became his favorite seat, Sea would occasionally glance towards the uninhabited bed.

“You're not coming back, Mas.” Lirih Sea lips said.

Disappointed? sure is. Although he was well aware if Noah's attitude continued to stay away, most of it was also because of him.

However, which woman's heart does not hurt if, she is forced to meet the biological needs of her husband. Then afterwards, guiltlessly her husband said that what had happened was an error.

Although serving her husband is an obligation for every wife, Sea thinks all women expect a gentle union based on love and compassion. So does he who loves Noah so much.

The dawn was sharp and the dizziness that Sea felt had not subsided yet. Unable to resist dizziness, the woman just laid her body on the sofa.

His gaze then turned to his still flat stomach. One hand to switch gently stroking there, “We can definitely right, son? Although only Mama and you, we can definitely skip this all ‘kan?” tanya Sea asked for approval and support on the fetus in her womb.

While his other hand rubbed his two eyes that continued to be flooded with tears. “Don't be sad, son! You're not crying because you're sad or regretting everything. It's all just because of the pregnancy hormones,” Sea said.

I don't know how many times Sea had to wash his face so that the dampness in his eyes was slightly reduced. Sea deliberately put on makeup more than usual, so that no one would notice his pale face. “If tonight Noah does not come home, let Mami and Dad alone take you to the doctor,” break up Mami Joanna.

“We don't want anything bad to happen to you, son,” added Mami Joanna made Sea reluctant to refuse.

Wanting to refuse, Sea realized that if he did so then Mami Joanna would be even more suspicious. So, since then what Sea has done is think of a way to get Mami Joanna's plan canceled.

After finishing a glass of warm milk, Sea immediately decided to leave for campus. Lucky during on campus, the dizziness in his head has subsided. However, his limp body he could not hide made Tessa and Phila too worried to see him.

“You sure are fine, Sea?” Ask Tessa to make sure.

Sea nodded and smiled to alleviate his best friend's worries.

“What better you go home, Sea,” proposes Phila. “I'm not sure you can still work in a cafe in these conditions,”.

Sea shaking. “I'm fine, you don't have to worry.” She smiles as much as possible so that her two friends stop worrying about her.

“But Sea ...” Excite Tesaa and Phila together.

“Sssstttt ...” He put his index finger in front of his lips. “You have to trust me. I must be strong!” Sea said determinedly.

With a heavy heart, Tessa and Phila finally gave up Sea who forced her to go to work at Alfio's Cafe Venus. However, it's not Tessa if she doesn't have a backup plan. Soon he reached for his cell phone and contacted a man there.

“If we both can't prevent it, hopefully he can.” Mumbled.

It doesn't take long until the call is connected, “Halo, Alfio's sister ..”

Alfio did not care about all the curses from other road users addressed to him. All Alfio wanted was to get to his cafe soon.

After receiving news from Tessa who said that Sea was sick, however, still forced himself to work. Without a second thought, Alfio immediately drove forward his car to ensure the state of the woman who lately managed to make his heart restless.

It didn't take long for the man to finally arrive at his cafe. When he opened the door, his smile rose when he saw Sea sitting behind the counter.

Thankfully, Sea is fine. His mind felt relieved after he saw with his own eyes if Sea was fine. Especially when Sea realized his presence, the woman smiled and his smile still managed to make Alfio's heart beat twice as fast.

Unfortunately, Alfio's relief did not last long.

“Kak Al, I permission to go to the toilet for a while, yes.” Sea then woke up from his seat and faintly heard him grimace.

Alfio simply nodded, with the netra continuing to watch Sea's footsteps.

One step, two steps, three steps, and. bruukkkkk! Sea fell to the floor, he was unconscious.

“Sea!” Pekik Alfio's.
