Chapter 23. A secret
“Di-dia..”.
Noah sat in his place. Years ago, the man lying in the gurney was the man he wanted to meet the most. Unfortunately, Noah's wish never materialized. He never expected if, finally, he could meet this man even though, in the wrong time and situation.
“The patient's name is Mr. Hanif. Current age 48 years, doc,” said one of the nurses. “After I did the TTV examination and the results of the patient's blood pressure 210/150 mmHg,” added the nurse explained the patient's condition.
Noah just nodded. Although, it has not responded to anything, it does not mean Noah did not pay attention to every word spoken by the nurse.
Noah was just still trying to normalize his heart, did he still have to hate this man? That is the question voiced by his mind.
Seeing Noah unmoved, coupled with a demanding gaze from the patient's family, the nurse was forced to whisper to the doctor to hurry to do his job.
“Dok... doctor Noah!” he shouted in a whispering voice. The nurse finally nudged Noah's arm. It's up to him to be considered rude, he thought.
Noah returned to his consciousness. He is a doctor and according to the oath he has made, then, the health of the patient is the main one.

After sighing deeply many times, the tightness in Noah's chest never disappeared. An encounter with Hanif, the man who was the beginning of Aneesa's life's destruction, brings her back to remember how fate brought her together with Aneesa. Poor woman, who may now have calmed down in nature there.
His guilt for Timothy returned. How he was responsible whereas, now Aneesa was gone. Her guilt doubled, when the cause of Aneesa's death was still related to her.
Until now, Sea is still the person blamed by Noah for Aneesa's choice to end his life.
Until nightfall, Noah still locked himself in his practice room. The knock on the door that finally dawned on Noah, if the moon had replaced the sun's duty.
“Come in,” shouted Noah from indoors.
A female nurse approached Noah's desk. “Dok... a patient from the VVIP room named Mr. Hanif wants to meet with you,”.
Noah's forehead frowned. “Tell him, tomorrow I will meet him while doing visit,” replied Noah.
“I've said it like that, doc,” said the nurse. “However, patient force, doc.”
Noah let out a rough breath. What does that man want! After a long time and it was too late to meet me, Noah's mind.
“If possible, tell her if I'm waiting for her in the hospital park.” After thinking and considering many things, Noah finally decided to meet Hanif.

This is where Noah is sitting in a garden chair. Under the moonlight, waiting for Hanif who had no idea what his purpose was to meet him.
Noah waited long enough for Hanif to arrive with the help of a nurse pushing his wheelchair.
“Sorry I forced to see you,” Hanif said when he just arrived.
“Please tell me what destination you want to meet me, my time is not much.” Reply Noah ketus.
A smile was seen on Hanif's handsome face even though he was no longer young. “Akh, I forgot if the newlyweds don't want to part for long,” chirps Hanif tease Noah. The man's laughter sounded weak, probably because his condition had not recovered properly.
“Quite the bases, Mister!” noah Ketus. “Soon say what you want!”
“I want to discuss about Aneesa. I think this is very important for you to know. I feel guilty. If I die, I don't think I'll go quietly,” he said.
Seeing the look of serious face and regret on Hanif's face, made Noah interested to know what important things this patient meant.
“I feel guilty for keeping this a secret,” I am Hanif.
