Chapter 21. Could it?

“Sus, are there any patients waiting?” noah asked the nurse who was on duty with him at this time.

I don't know how many times a day, the handsome doctor idol of patients and nurses seen massaging his forehead. Could he be sick? But judging by how he works today, it looks like Noah is fine.

Of course it looks good, because what is not good is certainly not visible to others. Now the man's heart was filled with uncomfortable, restless, and perhaps longing feelings that Noah did not want to acknowledge.

“Patients are no more, doc.” The nurse's answer was like the wind that blew and managed to cool her heart.

“Alright, I'll go home now,” Noah said. “You know where to contact me if something important happens?” Noah had to make sure everything would be well under control before he left.

The supposition of two nurses simultaneously able to restore a smile on Noah's handsome face that last month is very rarely seen. Over the past month, the handsome doctor has been the subject of conversation all over the hospital.

Starting since the news about his relationship with doctor Alesandra which proved to be only gossip. So many questions and assumptions arise because Noah's doctor spends more time in the hospital. Discussion of the condition of the household that is not harmonious is also the main topic that is most often discussed. But for a Noah, whatever other people talk about him, it doesn't matter to him.

Noah never felt as excited as he was now to return home. Ever since that night, Noah has been trying his best to get away from Sea. Moreover, seeing the attitude of Sea who was also away from him, Noah thought it was better for him to spend time outside the house than Sea.

Sea would feel more at home if I wasn't there, Noah thought.

Noah's hasty footsteps had to stop when he heard his name called. He had not been able to turn his head, his shoulders had been embraced by one of his friends, Sandy.

“Rome,” replied Noah briefly. The footsteps of the two young doctors seemed to be in harmony.

“Not wrong? Do you still have a home?” sandy asked with the intention of insinuating Noah. “Saking often I see you in the hospital, the cave had thought you had been kicked out of the house or you already do not have a house anymore,” added Sandy still with the intention to tease his best friend.

Noah did not dispute Sandy's remarks. Although, he knew it was all just a joke made by his best friend, but Noah did not deny the truth of Sandy's words.

While Sandy, he did not expect if his original speech managed to disturb Noah. Even though her legs continued to move together, Sandy knew that her best friend was thinking about something

“Ngopi first, yuk!” persuade Sandy. “Rarely times... we can go home when the sun is still working,” chirpednya.

For Noah, Sandy's proposal wasn't a bad idea. Enjoying a cup of coffee, may be able to drive away his fatigue. But what about his head that continues to feel dizzy all day. Noah couldn't describe what he was feeling right now. To be sure in his ears and in his mind, the name Sea continues to ring.

Throughout the journey, Noah's mind was not once diverted from the Sea. The man was confused, why when he was trying to dodge, at that time he felt the shadow of Sea just keep following him.

Noah did not understand if his words last time had hurt Sea's heart so deeply. However, it was deliberately done so that no hope appeared.

“I myself have not been able to determine how I feel at the moment. So, it is impossible if I even grow hope for Sea,” murmured Noah.

Since the night he spent with Sea, Noah admitted that it was difficult to get rid of the woman's shadow. Avoiding the Sea became the hardest part for him. Until today, it was as if Noah had arrived at a point where he could no longer escape.

Although it sounds strange, but it is true if you just imagine the Sea, his chest feels tight. Recalling how melodious and gentle the voice of Sea was, Noah felt uneasy. His head felt dizzy and throbbing, as the memory of that night flashed through his mind.

Thinking about all that made Noah did not realize that the place he was heading to was in sight. The familiar man in Kang Deden, the security guard of Myles' family residence, rushed to open the gate when he saw his employer's son's car approaching.

“Hopefully Sea is in the room,” murmured Noah.

The door of his room has been opened, then it seems familiar with what happened, again he must be disappointed because the figure he wants to meet is not there.

Noah's body became weak. His footsteps turned limp, his head suddenly felt more dizzy, his stomach seemed to be stirring. Nausea attacks, however, to vomit it feels Noah has no energy.

“What's with me?” ask Noah who he knows. He wanted to complain, but he didn't know who. Even if anyone could hear his complaint, he himself felt confused to say what happened to him.

Noah sits on the couch, where Sea always sits while watching TV. Instinctively, Noah positioned himself as Sea used to do. And strangely, doing so made her feelings calmer. Especially when he smelled the distinctive fragrance of Sea from the mukena draped on the back of the sofa.

Unknowingly, Sea's mukena was already in his arms. Noah breathed a fragrant aroma that seemed to be effective in relieving dizziness in his head. The two neutrals felt increasingly heavy, finally closed.

So comfortable, that Noah did not realize if what he did a while ago became an interesting spectacle for Sea. At first she felt confused until her forehead frowned, over time the woman felt what her husband did was so funny that she had trouble holding back her laughter.

“Ekhheemm,” Sea cleared his throat to surprise Noah.

The shocked and panicked Noah simultaneously looked even more comical in Sea's eyes. “You're home?” tanyanya nervous. Sea answered him with just a nod.

“A-I was exhausted to sleep on the sofa,” Noah added explaining the situation that happened without being asked.

Again Sea responded to it just by nodding. The silence of Sea made the awkward atmosphere even more felt. Noah looked at his wife's pale-looking face. Noah longed to ask about the woman's situation, but seeing Sea being indifferent made Noah undo his intentions.

“Please continue your rest, I want to take a shower.” Sea's speech before passing towards the bathroom left Noah who still kept asking.

Not much different from Noah, while in the bathroom Sea felt something strange to him. Noah's presence, like a cure to him. The dizziness on his head subsided and there was a feeling of comfort and safety when Sea knew that Noah was not far from him.

That night, the two passed alone in the room. Feel better if they are close to each other, without them realizing they have needed each other.

Even without doing anything, just lying on one another's back without a word being said. It seems that it is not a problem, as long as both can avoid the feeling of tightness, dizziness, and nausea that torment. Grateful that night both could end it with a good night's sleep.

After a quiet night, today Sea and Noah were finally able to start their day with more excitement. There was no change in the attitude of the two. Both Sea and Noah still belied, if somehow whatever the reason behind this is all, surely they need each other.

Noah left for work first, without waiting for Sea who was still preparing to go to campus. Sea did not seem to be affected anymore, the woman just focused on preparing without caring about Noah who left without saying goodbye.

Sea had just arrived on campus, when he saw his two best friends running up to him.

“Sea, there is an emergency!” Shouts Tessa from far away.

“What's up? Why are you guys running like ghosts, hemm?” asked Sea when his two best friends were in front of him.

Phila turned around, showing the reddish patches she covered with her bag. “Jeez... I think what's going on,” exclaimed Sea aware of the emergency Tessa referred to.

Grateful because Sea always provides sanitary napkins in his car. Just in case a situation like this could happen.

“Awhile, I'll get you a sanitary pad first, yes!” Sea immediately returned to his car.

The movement of his hands stopped when he saw the pads were still intact, the number had not decreased by a single one month ago. Sea remembered the date today, if not mistaken, two weeks had passed from the date of his menstrual period.

“Could it... ?” Sea swallowed his saliva many times. His shaking hands could not stop him. “What may I ...”
