Noah's footsteps echoed along the hospital corridor. The man ran down the hallway after the hall to find the room where his wife was.

It's hard to describe how he feels and what the man thinks. All the feeling seemed to fill his chest cavity.

As a doctor who works at Pelita Harapan hospital, the man should be the most know which room he should go to. However, the confusion of his thoughts made him not know where to go.

Luckily, he met Sandy.

“Noah! What are you doing here?” The doctor who is also Noah's best friend is seen shaking his head when he sees his best friend looks confused. Huff, like a man who lost his way. What a pity, his mind.

“Sea where?” Noah answered with a question.

“Sea is already in the operating room,” replied Sandy. “Your phone can not be contacted, the state of Sea is quite alarming.” Sandy was honest.

“Thank you to Owen. He takes care of everything, until Sea gets faster handling,” he said.

Noah nodded quickly. A hint from Sandy had told him where his destination should be. The doctor, who is famous for his handsome face, is now running towards the operating room.

The same shirt he's been wearing since yesterday, plus a sweat pouring out of his forehead. Of course Noah will get a rejection when he wants to go into the operating room and see firsthand the condition of his wife.

With a gontai move, Noah is forced to turn to the operating waiting room. Just as the door he opened, a sharp gaze from Owen greeted him. Noah could catch such a big worry on the face of his best friend and colleague.

“Crazy, lu!” A welcome word Owen gave to his best friend. “Where to from? It's so hard to get connected!”

“My phone ran out of power and when you called, I... ehmm... I.. in Aneesa's grave,” Noah replied.

“B*ngke, lu!” Owen scolded Noah.

Owen felt indignant with the behavior of his best friend who he thought was outrageous. How could Noah ignore Sea and keep tying himself to Aneesa, even after the woman is gone, Owen thought.

Owen imagined how surprised he was, when he saw the ambulance came with three people who were victims of the accident. Where one of the victims whose condition is most severe is the woman he still loves, Sea. The woman he had to leave for his very best friend brengs*k.

One punch from Owen, landing right in the jaws of his best friend. Owen recklessly did just that as he returned he imagined how Sea's head and arms were wrapped in bandages with numerous patches of blood. The neck that was wearing a brace, and what hurt Owen the most was the flow of blood along the thigh to the woman's legs that seemed to have dried up.

Noah who did not accept, turned around to grip the collar of his best friend's shirt. If you do not remember the words of Sandy if owen is the one who takes care of all the administration until his wife gets a quick handling, maybe Noah will not hesitate to return Owen's blow.

“What the fuck, Lu?!” ask Noah. Both of his hands were still clutching the collar of Owen's shirt.

“B*ngs*t like you, it deserves it!” reply Owen did not seem daunted.

“Blows from me are nothing compared to the reality that you will soon receive!” continued.

Slowly Noah's grip loosened. Before he was completely released, Noah was able to stomp Owen's body. “What do you mean, lu? Tell me clearly!” noah's orders.

Owen shook his head. “Please wait until the doctor is done with his work,” replied Owen flatly. The grin on the handsome face of his best friend, which he rarely saw, made Noah swallow his saliva.

What bad reality is coming my way soon? inner Noah.

“Yes God, please save my wife,” murmured Noah. “Give me a chance to get an apology from him, give me a chance to make amends,” Noah eloquently prayed for the salvation of his wife to the Divine, the Owner of Life.

Noah sat quietly in one of the iron chairs in the room. If just a moment ago there were only Noah and Owen, there were currently already a few people who were also sitting and waiting anxiously like the two.

Noah and Owen sat like two men who never knew each other. Both are busy with their regrets.

Doctor Owen, a man whose face is no less handsome than Noah regretted his choice first to harbour his feelings for a girl he often met at his best friend's house. A very sweet orphan girl, that was how Owen looked at Sea.

I should never have let me love alone, Owen regretted in heart.

The choice to strengthen himself first, apparently now become regret. In the past, when knowing how Sea's background, Owen was more excited to achieve his goals as a doctor. Owen wants to be worthy of Sea, an heir to a large corporation.

Not much different from the man who sat a considerable distance from Owen, Noah was now enveloped with thousands of regrets. His mind glared, bringing him back to what happened a few hours ago.

It was exactly last night, when Hanif asked to meet her. All of Noah's regrets began from that moment. When he learned a fact that finally made his heart feel guilty and relieved simultaneously.

Yesterday night, in the garden of Pelita Harapan hospital….

With a smile that made Noah even more upset with the middle-aged man beside him, Hanif began to uncover the sin that has been haunting him for some time, torturing him, and even killing him slowly.

“Don't beat around! You know I have a lot of work,” said Noah.

Noah really didn't want to talk about his wife with the old man next to him. There was a sense of unwillingness that he did not want to admit, when he heard Hanif discussing Sea.

“I think it's quite basic, say what you want!” nouah once again.

Hanif's remaining laughter was now completely gone. The middle-aged man looked down lethargic. Noah thinks his time is wasted serving the endless drama Hanif.

Noah stood up and prepared to walk away, while Hanif was still loyal in his place.

“That night I met him.” Lirih Hanif's voice but managed to stop Noah's steps.

Noah took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. “Aneesa?” asked Noah who answered a nod by Hanif.

On that silent night, Noah's breath sounded clear. Noah sat back in his place. “When? And what was important from your meeting with him?”

Honestly speaking, Noah's heart seemed to be pinched hearing Hanif's confession. But to be angry or disappointed is useless. In fact, Aneesa is dead.

“The day before he was found lifeless,” I am Hanif with a vibrating voice.

Is she crying? Noah's mind heard Hanif's voice tremble.

“Sore then, after such a long time, I finally got back to meet him.” It was really difficult for Hanif to finish that one sentence. The middle-aged man with the infusion in his hand was seen rubbing his face.

The middle-aged man who usually looked resolute and authoritative, tonight lowered all his pride and was honest about the great sin he had committed.

After leaving Hanif in the park, Noah returned to his room. In the dark room because he deliberately turned off the lights, Noah fought with his regret.

“I have hated the wrong people, I have hurt the wrong people,” he muttered endlessly. The memory of his bad attitude to Sea, clearly reflected in his eyes.

Until the night had turned morning, Noah decided to leave the hospital before the doctors and nurses started arriving.

“I have to repair my relationship with Sea,” he muttered determinedly. But before seeing Sea, the handsome doctor returned his car to the public cemetery where Aneesa was buried.

Owen, who was standing far away, walked closer. “How is it?” tanyakanya.

“Operation went well. Mrs Seanna has now passed her critical period,” said the doctor.

Noah's forehead frowned. “Tell me the truth! Is there anything I need to worry about?”

The doctor breathed heavily. “Forcuse us doctor Noah, we've tried our best. However ...”
