Memory Of Love

Memory Of Love
The Part 19

After Casey made his statement, Aaron felt increasingly tightened his embrace of Casey, and it was as if he would never let Casey go again.

Aaron who seemed unwilling to give up, then said,

"Casey...! Can't you give me a chance? Just one time! And I will prove all my words, that I will turn into someone better than before."

"Hm ... If you want to be a better person, then be that way for yourself, and for everyone around you....

... And not just because it intends to make it as a proof, to a certain person," said Casey.

"Oh, gosh! ... I'm really stupid! I don't know what I've been thinking all this time, so I can misjudge you" Aaron said.

"Aaron! ... If you really want to do good, maybe first, you can let go of me first! Because my legs have been sore," said Casey, who felt tired, because too long standing still.

"Ugh? ... I'm sorry." Aaron takes his arms off Casey, but he carries Casey, in a style like he's carrying his bride.

"Hey! ... What are you doing? Lower me!" Casey is confused by Aaron's treatment of her.

"Calm down! ... I'm not gonna drop you. But if you can't stop moving, I probably won't be able to hold it....

... And you will fall to the ground" said Aaron, looking at Casey in his eyes, and then smiling broadly.

"Where are you taking me?" casey asked, after seeing that Aaron instead of heading to his car, and instead walked towards the beach.

Aaron did not answer Casey's question, and just smiled at him, as he continued walking, until he almost reached the shore.

Aaron paused for a bit, and it seemed he took off his shoes, before he continued walking slowly, and finally stopped, then sat down on the sand of the beach, while still carrying Casey.

Thus, Casey who so sat in the lap of Aaron, then trying to get away from the man.

But Aaron actually hugged Casey tightly, so as not to go anywhere, and remained sitting on his lap.

"What's wrong with you? I don't want you to hug me!" Casey.

"Shhhh! ... Just shush...! I was imagining, what it would be like if we had our first introduction, it could be like this" Aaron said, smiling to himself.

"Ugh? ... You've got to be kidding! ... If you have just met me, then you have dared to hug and force me to sit on your lap...,

... Then you will definitely get a hard slap on your face. Because right now this is it, I have to try so hard not to slap you" Casey said.

"Haha!" Aaron laughed after Casey finished speaking.

Aaron's breathing then sounded heavy, as he suddenly leaned his face against one of Casey's shoulders.

"Are you okay?" ask Casey.

Although Casey is not happy and even hates Aaron, Casey can still feel worried, when he hears Aaron who seems to have difficulty breathing.

"I'm not okay. My chest hurts a lot, "Aaron replied, leaning on Casey's shoulder.

"Hey! ... If you're sick, then why did you bring me here?" ask Casey, worried.

"Take me off! ... Let me get my phone to get help!" Casey tries to escape from Aaron's two hands, which are coiled around his body.

But Aaron flinch, so Casey can't fight the strength of Aaron's arms, which keep him there.

"No one can help me. Because my chest hurts because of you" Aaron said.

"Are you kidding me?" casey said, shaking her head.

Aaron lifted his face, and looked at Casey fixedly, then said,

"I really mean it."

The look in Aaron's deep eyes pierced, making Casey carried away the feeling that appeared in his memory at that time, until his chest so pounded at this time.

"Don't! ... Please, don't!" Casey.

Casey's words might sound as if she's talking to Aaron.

But the truth is, Casey is talking to himself, so as not to get carried away with feelings that come from the past, which he considers very stupid.

"Casey...! I don't want you to reject me" Aaron said.

"Stop talking nonsense! ... I almost died. And for two years I was in the hospital, but not once did you come to see me....

... And now you want me to accept you? Do you think I'm too stupid? Unhand me!"

While speaking in a half-screaming voice snapping at Aaron, Casey moved wildly, for Aaron to let go of his embrace.

However, Aaron seemed to be exerting his strength, so that Casey could not get away from him, saying, saying,

"Casey! Calm yourself down! ... I visited you in the hospital!"

Casey stopped moving, then stared fixedly at Aaron. "What did you say?"

"I visited you at the hospital ... Over and over again, without your knowledge," replied Aaron, who seemed earnest.

... Despite the circumstances, I still went to see you in secret. When you're awake, I can only see you from afar" Aaron continued.

Casey paused for a moment while thinking, then said,

"If that's true, what do you mean, that Grandpa forbade you to see me?"

"I don't know ... But I think your Grandpa blames me for the accident that happened to you....

... And to be honest, it just makes me even more upset with you, because I don't know anything, about how you got into an accident" Aaron replied.

"What made you suddenly change your mind?" ask Casey.

"Casey...! Although I'm actually curious about how your true nature is, but all this time, I think of you as a spoiled child....

...I think you are someone who always gets what you want, even though you may not actually deserve it....

... And I, being stupid and stubborn, continued my folly, not trying to get to know you any further."

Aaron answered Casey's question without taking his eyes off Casey's, looking as if he wanted to show, that he was speaking honestly at the time.

Still with the same expression, Aaron then continued saying,

"Until the end, when I tried to open my mind, and have been watching you for a while now, I realized that my view of you was wrong, and I really regretted it."

"Huuufft...!" Casey grunts violently. "Better we just go home now!"

"Wait a minute!" sahut Aaron, who again leaned his face, on one side of Casey's shoulder.

The temperature became warmer at midday, making Casey able to enjoy the view on the beach, without feeling stiff again on part of his face.

Because Aaron who was still silent while still hugging him, his quiet time was then used by Casey to think.

If it was Daniel who forbade Aaron from visiting Casey, was it because Casey had forgotten who Aaron was?

Or maybe, Daniel did blame Aaron, because Lionel must have told Daniel, that before Casey had an accident, Casey was upset.

But....

Casey, who was deep in his own thoughts, was quite surprised, as Aaron suddenly said,

"Are you hungry yet? It's lunch time."

"Now! ... Let's get out of here!" sahut Casey, then tried to stand on his own, but Aaron again held him back, saying, saying,

"Your shoes are not suitable for walking on sand."

Without Casey responding to Aaron's words, the man quickly picked up and held Casey, just like how he had brought Casey to the shore.

"Are you not tired?" ask Casey, cynical.

Aaron smiled widely, and even seemed to be almost laughing, then said,

"Your body is light as cotton."

"Yeah, right!" sahut Casey, ketus.

Suddenly, Aaron seemed to lose his balance while walking, and like he was about to fall, until spontaneously, Casey wrapped his hands around Aaron's neck, and held on tightly.

"Haha!" And at once, Aaron laughed out loud, so Casey could have guessed, if Aaron was just pretending to fall.

Casey slapped Aaron in the chest, saying,

"You scared me! ... Are you happy, now?"

"Do you have to hit me that hard? Your slap is quite painful," Aaron said.

"Sorry...!" Casey rubbed softly the chest of Aaron who was hit earlier. "But you started it yourself!"

"Pffit...!" While glancing at Casey with the tip of his eyes, Aaron laughed stifledly.

Casey made no further comment, and just shook his head, looking at Aaron's behavior.

Aaron takes Casey all the way to the car, and the two of them immediately get into it, without wasting any more time.

When Aaron sat behind the wheel, he had a chance to see the screen display of his phone, which had been left on the dashboard of the car.

And so did Casey, who was still able to see a bit of the screen from Aaron's phone, which contained notifications of some missed phone calls.

It was quite surprising for Casey, because the name of the contact seen there, it read 'Julie' and not 'Honey' anymore'.

But Casey wasn't too willing to think about it, and pretended as if she didn't see anything.

Aaron also seemed unwilling to respond to the missed call from Julie, and instead immediately turned on his car engine, after seeing the screen display of his phone, and put the phone away just like that, between her seat and Casey.
