The Part 29

Not long after the waiter served their order food, Julie was seen following along.

And just like Aaron, who without asking permission first, Julie immediately took a seat next to Steve, and was right opposite Aaron.

"We haven't met." With a smile, Julie extended her hand toward Steve, who was beside her.

"Steve Dale!" steve said, shaking hands with Julie.

"Julie Tosch!" Julie shared her name, before they let go of each other's hands.

Either Casey is just plain blind jealous, but according to Casey, Julie seems to be trying to tease Steve. 

Julie seemed to be smiling to herself, and tried to get Steve to talk to her.

While Steve, seems to care less about Julie, and instead looks busy cutting steak meat, to a small size, one mouthful.

Casey who felt increasingly upset, because he who could not eat dinner quietly alone with Steve, unknowingly, had taken a glass containing wine in front of him, and almost sipped it.

However, Aaron immediately stopped casey's hand movements, saying,

"Don't try it! ... Aren't you supposed to drink alcohol?" 

Aaron took Casey's glass of wine, then put it at a distance far from Casey's reach.

And at that very moment, Steve then swapped his dinner plate, where the steak that had been cut up by him earlier, with Casey's.

After seeing that Steve still prefers to pay attention to him, and ignore Julie, then Casey can feel quite happy.

"Thank you" Casey told Steve, smiling broadly.

"Together." Steve also smiled, then blinked one eye at Casey.

"How did you two get to know each other?" ask Julie, suddenly.

"We went to the same university" Casey replied, simply, and then immediately ate a piece of steak.

Julie then comes along to make an order, to the waiter who approaches her. 

Casey, however, did prefer to look at Steve, and only at a glance, looking at Julie or Aaron.

Although the four of them were sitting there, Casey and Steve were busy with their own world, which often looked into the eyes with a smile.

"Ahem! ... Ahem!" Suddenly, Aaron seemed to be clearing his throat at that moment, until Casey turned to him.

"Steve! ... Are you going to the R&H Corp office tomorrow? There will be a lot of casual races between employees, which will be done there," Julie said.

According to Casey, Julie should have paid more attention to Aaron, back then.

Casey is completely inexhaustible, with what Julie was really aiming for, until Julie acts like that.

Moreover, Julie is seen leaning toward Steve, so it feels like Casey wants to flush Julie with water, to resuscitate the woman, so as not to try to get close to Steve.

But Steve seems to realize that Casey does not like the gestures of Julie.

Because Steve then held a side of Casey's hand on the table, and slightly stroked it with his thumb, then said, saying,

"Possibly I'll go there. Because I'll keep Casey company, whenever the opportunity arises."

Although Steve was responding to Julie's words, but when he spoke, Steve was constantly staring at Casey, and did not take his eyes off even for a moment.

Then, Aaron suddenly stood up from his seat, and said,

"I'll go to the restroom for a minute!" 

And as Aaron walked away, Julie stood up as well, and soon followed Aaron, without saying anything.

"You jealous?" steve asked, when Julie and Aaron were nowhere to be seen.

"Yes ... He—Julie— seems to have come close to you on purpose," Casey replied, furious.

"Pff.ht...! I didn't know that you turned out to be quite possessive" Steve said, laughing.

"Do you think that's funny?" ask Casey, ketus.

"I'm sorry...." Steve still wanted to laugh.

"But, Casey...! You don't have to be disturbed by it. He is nothing compared to you....

... It's me who's jealous, because Aaron can't seem to take his eyes off of you" said Steve.

"Nrt! ... I want to kiss you right now, and make you mine." Steve squeezes Casey's hand, then is seen biting his own lip.

Apparently, Aaron went to the public bathroom, to wash his face with water. 

Because when he came back with Julie, and sat in their original place, there were still remnants of water, which soaked the edges of Aaron's face.

And apparently, it wasn't just Casey who realized that.

Because when Casey looked at Steve, as if he had the same thoughts as Casey, the man seemed to give a sign using his eye movements, which pointed towards Aaron.

Until they all finished their dinner, no one was talking there. 

"Thank you for dinner" said Steve, standing up from his seat, along with Casey.

"Casey! ... Are you two going straight home?" ask Aaron.

"Yes ... I can't wait to hear Steve, who's going to sing for me" Casey replied, without hesitation.

Both Aaron, Julie and Steve seemed surprised by Casey's statement.

But Steve then just smiled, shaking his head.

"Bye, Aaron! ... Julie! ... We go first! Enjoy your time!" casey said, then get ready to leave.

"Bye, Aaron! ... Bye, Julie! ... See you next time!" Steve also said goodbye, before he finally passed away from there, together with Casey.

Upon arrival at home, Daniel seems to have been waiting for the arrival of Casey and Steve.

So when Casey and Steve just got out of the car, one of the housekeepers told him to have Casey and Steve meet Daniel on the side porch of the house.

"Hi, Grandpa! ... Hi, Lionel!" greet Casey, when he saw Daniel sitting with Lionel there.

"Hello, Mister Roberts! ... Hello, Lionel!" Steve said hello to Daniel and Lionel.

Daniel then stood up from his seat, then shook hands with Steve. 

"I'm sorry ... I'm busy taking care of work, so I haven't had time to welcome you very well" Daniel said.

"It's okay, sir! ... I'm just the one who is not polite, because I don't wait for an opportunity, to meet you first" said Steve.

"Please sit!" said Daniel.

Steve then takes an empty seat between Daniel and Lionel, while Casey goes to meet the housekeeper, to prepare drinks and snacks for them.

It seems, both Steve and Daniel are comfortable, to respond to each other's conversation there.

Because when Casey returned to the side porch of the house, although Steve still survives the formalities, but Daniel looks more relaxed when talking to Steve.

In fact, so engrossed Daniel talked with Steve, until Lionel also seemed to be ignored by them again.

"Steve could follow Grandpa's discussion very well" Lionel said, whispering to Casey, as Casey sat nearby.

Casey looked at Steve and Daniel, who seemed to have known each other for a long time, so they could look familiar.

"Where have you been?" ask Lionel.

"Just to the shopping mall" Casey replied, then sipped a little tea, which had been delivered by her domestic assistant.

Suddenly, Daniel's phone rang, interrupting his conversation with Steve. 

"I'm sorry ... But I have to take this call" Daniel told Steve, after he saw the display on his phone screen.

"It's okay, Sir ... Please!" steve Sahut.

"Casey! ... Lionel! ... Serve Steve well! Grandpa went inside first," Daniel said.

"Yes, Grandpa!" sahut Casey and Lionel together.

Daniel then seems to be walking hastily into the house, and soon followed by Casey, who intends to go pick up the guitar they bought earlier.

"Steve seems like a nice guy, but he's too shy" Daniel said, before he walked into his study.

Casey did not respond to Daniel's words, and continued to walk to his room, where their groceries had been delivered there by his housekeeper.

When Casey returned to the side porch of the house, Steve and Lionel seemed to have talked there.

"Steve!" Casey thrust the guitar he was carrying, to Steve.

"Now?" steve asked, who then took the guitar from Casey's hand.

Casey nodded. "Yes ... Lionel would have wanted to see it, too."

With a smile, Steve seemed to shake his head, but he did not reject Casey's request, and began strumming the strings of the guitar slowly.

This time, Steve sang a song with a universal language, which became the everyday language used by people in the country, to communicate.

And the reaction from Lionel was more or less the same as Casey, when he saw Steve playing guitar for the first time, in the shopping center earlier.

Lionel seemed amazed, when he saw Steve playing the guitar while humming.

"Bw! ... You can also play guitar! Your voice is good too!" said Lionel.

Steve smiled shyly, as he continued to play the guitar and hum, while looking at Casey and Lionel alternately.

"I think he's really interested in you" Lionel said, whispering to Casey.

Casey just smiles to respond to him, and still does not want to tell Lionel, if the truth is, Casey has dated Steve.

But Casey's delight, it seems, will only last a little while. Because before Steve could finish one of his songs, all of a sudden, one of the housekeepers met them there, and then said,

"Miss! ... Mister Aaron Hamilton came to visit, and wants to see you."
