The Part 27

For a while, Steve did not immediately give his response, and only fell silent while staring at Casey.

Casey almost reprimanded him again, but at that moment, before Casey let out his voice, Steve had already spoken first.

"Did you know? I'm happy to know that you have the same feelings as me.... 

... It feels like I'm winning the lottery, if it's true I can be your lover" Steve said.

"But on the other hand, I don't know if the action I want to do, will be true" continued Steve.

"No need to make small talk. Just tell me what you really want to say!" Casey.

"Casey! ... Will it not be a problem for both families, if you cancel your engagement? ... Then, Aaron....

...You may not believe my words. But as a fellow man, I don't think my judgment of Aaron would be wrong. Aaron likes you....

... With that being the case, is it possible that he would just take it for granted, if I were to become your lover instead?" said Steve.

"Are you looking for an excuse?" ask Casey, ketus. "You shouldn't have to say that you love me."

"Casey...!" Steve shook his head, as if he could not believe Casey's reaction.

"From now on, we don't have to talk about this anymore. I'd assume, if I never listened to anything from you." Casey then stood up from her seat.

"Wait a minute!" said Steve, who stood up from his seat, then hurriedly approached Casey, and held Casey's hand.

"What else is it? We better get back to my house. I want to calm my mind, and forget this conversation of ours" Casey said.

"And one more! ... Go ahead, if you still want to be a coward! But not with me....

... Just so you know, that even if you're not here, I'm still going to cancel my engagement to Aaron" Casey continued.

Casey, intending to return to his car, which was in the parking lot in front of the cinema, did not get to step foot, as Steve immediately hugged him tightly.

"Remove, Casey! ... Forgive me ... I love you, so much. And I'm not running away. I'll stay beside you," said Steve, then kissed Casey's lighthouse.

Casey pushed Steve slowly, until Steve loosened his embrace, and only held both sides of Casey's arm.

With a slight raise of his head, Casey tried so that he could look into Steve's pair of bright blue eyes.

"Did you really mean it?" ask Casey.

"Yes," replied Steve, who then brought his face closer, then gently kissed Casey's lips.

After they stopped kissing, Steve looked like a confused person, then said,

"Can you pinch me? I think I'm dreaming, so I can kiss you."

Casey almost laughed at it. 

"You can do it again, if it makes you believe, that it's not a dream" Casey said, smiling broadly.

Without lingering again, Steve kissed Casey's lips again, until some time, before he finally stopped his kiss, when the sound of someone who cleared his throat near them.

Both Casey and Steve, simultaneously turned to the direction from which the voice came, and saw Aaron standing there. 

Whether or not Casey's judgment is correct, Aaron seems furious, as the man looks at Casey and Steve in turn.

But Casey did not want to think about it, and just smiled at him.

Just to make small talk, Casey then said,

"Hi, Aaron! ... You're alone?"

Just as Casey finished talking, Julie's voice said,

"Honey! ... I'm done. Did I make you wait too long?" 

Julie, who had just walked out of the cafe, and approached Aaron, looked surprised, when she saw Casey and Steve there. 

But at that very moment, with a cynical smile, Julie then held the warm arm of Aaron, then said, saying,

"Honey! ... I don't know if you're talking to them. Ii'm sorry. But shouldn't we go now?"

Julie's words, it sounds like she's being directed to Aaron, so Casey doesn't respond, and just smiles and almost laughs, looking at Julie and Aaron in turn.

"Aaron! You better go now. You don't want to make Julie wait any longer, do you?" casey said, while still smiling mockingly.

"Hm ... Then we'll go first" Casey said, then turned to the side, looked at Steve, and then said,

"We better go now!"

"Casey!" aaron said, as if to hold Casey back.

But apparently, Julie squeezes Aaron's arm, as if Julie disagrees with Aaron's intentions. 

Casey almost laughed at the scene in front of him, which he thought was very silly, but eventually he just turned around, then walked along with Steve, away from Aaron and Julie.

"Casey...! Doesn't it matter if we just leave? I didn't even have time to say hello or say goodbye" Steve said.

"It's okay!" sahut Casey, no burden.

"Oh, yes! ... The woman with Aaron is Julie Tosch, director of marketing at R&H Corp. Who was Aaron's lover....

... So what do you think? Do you still feel that Aaron likes me?" continued Casey. 

"Do you want my honest answer?" Steve asked back.

Casey turned to Steve, and looked at the man, with Casey's mind full of question marks. 

"He doesn't just like you ... Aaron has fallen in love with you. Jealousy in his eyes can make me feel annoyed by it" said Steve, putting on a serious face.

"Pff.ht...! Don't tease me!" casey said, laughing. "Aaron loves Julie."

"Huuufft...!" Steve grunted softly. "As far as you are. Whether you will believe my words or not."

"We'd better stop talking about it. Because I know, I like you....

... And I just want to be happy with you. Don't you want the same thing as me?" sahut Casey's.

"Of course I want it!" steve said, then grabbed Casey's waist, and kissed Casey's head lighthouse.

Because none of them wanted to eat dinner soon, so Casey and Steve, then walk around in the shopping center.

While looking around, and buying a few items that caught their attention, Casey caught on several occasions, as the women of the store clerk looked at Steve, with a look of admiration.

And to be honest, Casey felt annoyed when he saw the store clerks, who were smiling at Steve.

Especially when Casey saw the female employees, who seemed intense approaching Steve, as if they wanted to seek attention, from Casey's male friend.

Casey then picked up a pair of glasses, similar to the ones Steve used to wear while he was in college, and put them on Steve's face.

"Hey! ... I've been wearing contact lenses, so I don't need glasses anymore" Steve said, looking confused.

"You're too handsome ... I don't want another woman to come near you" Casey said, sniffling and forcing Steve to keep wearing the glasses.

Steve laughed amusedly, then removed the glasses from his face, and while staring fixedly at Casey, Steve then said, saying,

"Casey...! I'm just gonna look at you."

"Hmphh! ... Just watch out, if you dare to lie to me!" sahut Casey, firm.

Steve then put the glasses he still held, back to his original display.

"Trust me! ... I would never lie to you!" steve said, then grabbed Casey's waist, and walked away from the merchant stand. 

"By the way ... You look cute, when you're jealous ... I wanted to tease you for longer" continued Steve, with a big smile.

Casey who did not like being ridiculed by Steve, then pinched Steve's stomach, saying, saying,

"Stop teasing me!"

"Auch! ... Okay, okay!" said Steve, grimacing, and rubbing his stomach.

At that moment, Casey felt as if someone was staring at him, until Casey lifted his gaze, wandering around.

Casey's vision came to a standstill, when she met Aaron's pair of eyes, which were staring at Casey right now.

Aaron is seen at a stand that provides women's underwear, which is located not far, from where Steve and Casey are.

"Annoying...!" Casey grumbled softly.
