Memory Of Love

Memory Of Love
Part 49's

Supposedly, his conversation with Daniel, could have made Casey convince himself, that he had to get Aaron out of his life.

But it turns out, the opposite happened, because the conversation, only made Casey more shaky.

How not?

It's not just the memories of scenes per scene, which Casey experienced only returned.

Just like Daniel and Lionel said, Casey loved Aaron in the past, the feeling of love, also came back and disturbed Casey.

Until now, Casey felt that she loved two men at once.

And it was very confusing for Casey, who had never experienced anything like that before.

Casey repeatedly sighed heavily, seemingly drawing attention from Lionel, until he then asked, saying,

"What's wrong? Why do you look like you are struggling? Is Grandpa's answer still unsatisfactory to you?"

"Lionels...! What am I supposed to do?" Casey simply asked, without expecting an answer from Lionel.

Lionel looked puzzled, and only speechless, as he stared fixedly at Casey.

"I love Steve ... But at the same time, I think, I love Aaron, too." Casey said.

"Huuufft...!" Lionel snorted softly. "I expected it."

"I don't like the overlapping feeling like this. It feels so strange, if I want the love of two men at once," Casey said, frustrated.

"What about the Grandpa's response?" ask Lionel.

"Nrt! ... Grandpa's words earlier, it only makes me consider the existence of Aaron," said Casey, as if.

Lionel stood up from his seat, and took two cans of soda from the fridge, then gave one of them to Casey.

"Aware of the advice, I think, you should immediately stay away from one of them," continued Lionel, while opening the lid of his soda can.

"But who do you think I should stay away from?" ask Casey.

"Casey...! Only you can make that decision. Just think of a strong enough reason, to choose it," Lionel replied, then wiped the wet tip of his lips with the soda liquid, which he had just drunk.

"It seems I can't just walk away from Aaron" Casey said, staring at the soda can in his hand.

"Because according to Grandpa, I had to convince Aaron to agree to the cancellation of our engagement. There is no misunderstanding between two families....

... Although Steve ... I think I would be like a very stupid person if I stayed away from him right now. Because I've loved it for a long time" Casey continued, completely baffled.

Again, Lionel stood up from his seat.

And after putting his soda can on the table, Lionel then walked out of the room, without saying anything.

Because Casey knew that he could not force Lionel to give his opinion, Casey did not hold back Lionel's steps, leaving him alone in the room.

After a while Casey was there, but there was no sign that Lionel would return, Casey lay in bed.

Either Casey should be grateful, because his memory can still return, and be a sign that his brain condition has improved, or he should just regret it.

During this time, Casey never forced the situation, just to get all his wishes, to ignore others, who might be hurt by it.

However, this time Casey felt that he might become greedy, if he could not make the right decision immediately.

The next morning, Lionel was waiting at Casey's doorstep for breakfast.

Casey, who was ready, immediately met Lionel and went down to the ground floor of the hotel, where they were all staying.

To clear his mind, Casey deliberately refused an invitation from Aaron or Steve, to meet him this morning.

So, as was customary in the past, before Casey was close to Steve or Aaron, Casey would only be with Lionel, who agreed to accompany him, wherever Casey wanted to go.

"Yes!" casey replied, excited.

"Your Grandpa called me," said Lionel, then pulled up a chair for Casey.

"What are you talking about?" ask Casey.

"As usual ... Grandpa wants me to continue monitoring your situation. He said he was quite worried, because you sounded riled up, while talking to him last night," Lionel replied.

Lionel then made an order, which would be the food menu that would be their breakfast, to a restaurant waiter who approached them there.

"What do you think, Grandpa still doesn't believe that I didn't intend to kill myself?" casey asked, after the waiter had walked away from their table.

"I don't know ... To be sure, Grandpa's voice still sounded anxious as usual." Lionel who poured orange juice, then offered one glass to Casey.

"I'm just a burden to a lot of people." Casey lowered her gaze. "You can't even live your life freely, and you're just busy babysitting me."

"Casey...! Lift your head...! Lookatme!" Lionel seemed to be giving orders to Casey, until Casey looked at him.

"I don't feel burdened at all to take care of you, because I love you" said Lionel.

"Is it not just because you feel sorry for me?" ask Casey, be careful.

"Geez!" said Lionel, who looked anxious. "I'm not who you think I am. Understood?!"

Casey nodded her head.

While eating his food, Casey floated his gaze around inside the restaurant area, which could be reached by his sight.

And there, Casey finds neither Aaron nor Steve.

"Hm ... Lionel! Did Steve have any trouble?" ask Casey. "I mean, there's nothing Steve knows well here, other than Oscar."

"Steve is fine ... All I know is, they came here first, to eat the morning. So, maybe now they're relaxing on the beach" replied Lionel.

"What are you really thinking now?" continued Lionel, hurry.

"none. I just feel a little worried, just in case Steve can't blend in. Because the situation is the same as a stranger, in this place" Casey replied.

"If that's all, you don't have to worry. Steve is a grown man. Not children anymore, who will have trouble with such trivial things," said Lionel.

"Okay!" casey said, then finished the last piece, from his bacon. "Are we going straight to the beach?"

"As far as you are!" sahut Lionel, who also looks finished finishing his meal.

"I'll be back in my room for a while" said Casey, who was intending to change her clothes in a bikini.

Lionel nodded in agreement, then walked with Casey, climbed to the top floor of the hotel building, and headed back to their respective rooms.

When they meet again at Casey's doorstep, Lionel is seen wearing a hat, shorts, a loose T-shirt, and paired with a pair of slippers.

"Did you bring sunblock? I completely forgot to bring that thing," said Lionel, looking at Casey's hand carrying a medium-sized basket case.

"There! ... Let's go!" sahut Casey's.

After getting a sheet of mat from the hotel attendants, Casey and Lionel, rushed off to the beach.

And on the coast, it was already crowded with R&H Corp employees, who were on tour from the company, and other resort guests, who were not part of the company.

Some play in the water, and some just lie in the sun.

But overall, it seems that no one does not enjoy their recreation.

Lionel then invited Casey, to go on the beach that is not too crowded with visitors, and immediately roll out a mat on the sand, which will be a seat for them.

Alternately, Casey and Lionel help each other apply sunscreen, to their bodies.

When it was Lionel's turn to rub the back of Casey, who was lying face down on the mat, suddenly his hand stopped moving.
