Part 43's

Casey packed several pairs of her clothes into a suitcase.

There was not much he needed to bring, as the city that the company planned for recreation destination, was an area that was not familiar with winter.

The blazing sun throughout the city's year was a consideration for Casey, who brought thin clothes, especially for summer.

While choosing the clothes he wanted to bring, Casey occasionally remembered the conversation he had with Steve and Lionel, yesterday afternoon.

Casey's plan to nominate Steve as president of R&H Corp will be scrapped by Casey.

Steve will travel in a separate vehicle, together with Lionel.

"Have you taken care of your wounds?" casey asked, wearing her jacket, and pulled out her hair that was wedged between her jacket and her back.

"It feels better." Aaron approached, then revealed Casey's bite scar, on his lips. "The wound is dry, enough with medicine."

"Still look swollen. Will it not be used later? Didn't you visit the doctor?" Casey.

"It's okay! ... It's no big deal" said Aaron, smiling.

"It's my own fault. Even if it's going to work, then it will be a reminder of my stupid behavior, every time I see my face in the mirror," continued Aaron.

"Huuufft...!" Casey grunted softly, then shook his head.

"Oh, yes! ... Waita minute!" Aaron then seemed to pick up something, in the inner pocket of his jacket.

"Stupid me! ... I completely forgot, that I pocketed this for you. Do you still want to accept it?" aaron said, with a voice and a disappointed face.

Aaron held a bar of chocolate, which seemed to have broken in some parts, until it looked crooked, and could not be straightened again.

"Pffit...!" Casey laughed restrainedly, seeing the shape of the chocolate bar, and so did Aaron's silly-looking facial features, as Aaron forced to straighten the chocolate bar.

"It's okay...!" casey said, then took the chocolate bar out of Aaron's hand. "It's still edible."

Casey immediately opened the chocolate package, then ate a piece, and offered a piece to Aaron. "It feels the same."

"I've never tried it." Aaron opens his mouth so Casey can feed him.

"Hm ... It tastes good. It's only right if you like it" said Aaron, who smiled broadly, as he chewed the chocolate in his mouth.

"How do you know I like this chocolate?" ask Casey, just ask.

"I've seen you eat it in the hospital" Aaron replied. "I'm guessing, maybe Lionel brought it for you back then."

Casey was speechless, and even stopped chewing on the chunks of chocolate, which he had just fed into his mouth.

Because what Aaron was talking about, was an overseas hospital, where Casey was admitted after an accident.

As such, Aaron does not seem to be lying, when Aaron says that he visited Casey in the hospital, unbeknownst to Casey.

"What's up? ... Do you want me to buy you a new chocolate?" aaron asked, jolting Casey from her daydream.

"Ugh? ... No. gabe. This is more than enough. If I eat more, I won't taste for lunch" Casey said.

Aaron seems to be preparing his journey with Casey well.

In Aaron's car, there are even pillows and blankets, which Casey can wear, in order to rest more comfortably, along the way.

"If there's something you need, just say it! ... We can stop for a while" said Aaron, who was driving his car, turning to Casey for a moment.

"No need to worry about that. Just wake me up, if it's time for lunch, then I'm still asleep" Casey said.

"Okay!" While still driving, Aaron then seemed to try to pull up the blanket with one hand, to cover Casey up to the neck.

"The bus that the officer is wearing, has it left?" Because Casey is not yet feeling sleepy, Casey invites Aaron to have a conversation, just to reduce coobosanan.

Aaron turned to Casey for a moment, before he looked straight ahead again.

"I don't think so ... Because of the plan, the employees will be traveling, after lunch break," Aaron replied.

"Then why do we have to leave in such a hurry?" casey asked, raising her seat back slightly.

"Hm ... I deliberately chose to leave first, so that we could take a leisurely drive, and I didn't have to speed on the way" Aaron replied.

"You're not sleepy yet?" ask Aaron. "There are drinks and snacks in the cooler."

Casey opened the cooler box in Aaron's car and pulled out a can of soda and a tube of potato chips.

Casey opens the lid of the soda bottle, then thrusts it into Aaron.

"Ugh? ... I didn't want it" said Aaron, who eventually received a can of soda from Casey's hand. "I'm just telling you, just in case you want a drink or a snack."

"Okay!" Casey took back the soda can from Aaron's hand, and gulped down a bit of its contents. "I think you want it, and just can't take it yourself, because it's driving."

"Hm ... I don't want soda. But, I want that one!" Aaron pointed at the packet of potato chips in Casey's hand, which was already open.

Casey brought the packet of potato chips closer to Aaron.

But Aaron seemed to have difficulty, to get the contents out, until finally, Casey was the one who bribed the snack for him.

"Thank you" said Aaron.

"It's not a problem. Rather than you losing concentration, just because of these chips alone" Casey said, without burden.

While eating chips, and occasionally feeding them to Aaron, Casey then asked Aaron, saying,

"What about Julie? Don't you think, if you cut off the relationship unilaterally, it would be very painful for him?"

"I know, because it wasn't easy for me either ... But he and I also know that continuing a relationship without love is useless" Aaron replied.

"It took many years, then we could understand, that our relationship was not based on love. He realized that I had misjudged my feelings for him....

"You loved Steve for so long, that you closed your eyes to other men, didn't you? But when you meet me, you can finally feel in love again....

...More or less the same. The difference is, because Julie and I were together for too long, so I never opened my eyes to another woman....
