Memory Of Love

Memory Of Love
The Part 21

After the headache felt by Casey had subsided, then Aaron ran his car again, and continued their journey back.

With Aaron escorted, Casey went straight home, without returning to the office.

At home, Casey says nothing to Daniel or Lionel, about a piece of memory returning to him, and just like the dream.

Casey was immediately preoccupied with overseeing the work of her domestic assistant, who prepared an empty room for Steve, which was located close to Daniel's room, which was downstairs.

Until it was time for dinner, Lionel who had dinner together and asked a lot, Casey kept his mouth locked tightly.

Casey only told me about the location of the new branch, which he saw with Aaron.

Then, Casey who wanted to prepare a place for Steve was, who made Casey as an excuse, why he arrived in a hurry to go home.

***

As planned, before Casey went to the office, Casey still went to the airport to pick up Steve, whose arrival was scheduled early in the morning.

Casey was still on his way to the airport when Steve called him and told him that the plane he was on had landed.

Upon Casey's arrival at the airport, Casey was confused to find Steve's whereabouts, so he had to call Steve again, looking to and fro.

"Hello, Steve!" greet Casey.

"Hello, Casey!" Steve greeted me from across the phone.

"Where are you? ... I can't see you" Casey said.

"I've seen you. Just wait there! Don't go anywhere else!" steve said, from across the phone, then the phone connection was cut off.

A man suddenly stood by Casey, smiling broadly, then greeted, saying,

"Hello, Casey!"

Casey did not immediately respond to the man's greeting, and instead looked at him from the tip of his hair to the tip of his foot.

The man's voice was indeed similar to Steve's, but not to his face and body shape, which seemed much different from what was in Casey's memory.

There were no thick glasses, the man's body looked shaped, and not as squeaky as Casey recalled.

After a while he looked at the man's face, Casey realized that it was Steve.

So Casey smiled widely, then said,

"Hello, Steve! ... You look so different that I can't recognize you anymore!"

"Pffit...!" Steve laughed, hugged Casey. "Did my change look bad?"

"Don't joke! ... You look handsome" Casey said.

"I mean, you're good looking, but right now, you're so much better looking than before" Casey continued.

After they let go of each other's arms, Steve smiled, then said,

"Thank you for the compliment! ... You look beautiful too. It's still the same as I remember."

"Thank you!" sahut Casey's. "Let's go! ... You must be tired, because of the long journey."

"Okay!" Steve then walks out of the airport, together with Casey.

While walking side by side, until they both get into the car, Casey still occasionally glanced at Steve.

Casey still can't believe that Steve's physical appearance will change that much.

"You're just making me feel ashamed" Steve said, then covered part of his face with one hand.

At once, Casey's face was hot.

Casey was embarrassed, because then, Steve meant to realize, that Casey too often looked at him.

"I'm sorry ... I don't intend to look at you continuously" said Casey, who felt misbehaved.

"I'm just amazed by your change, after all this time we haven't met" Casey continued, arguing.

"It's okay ... As long as you like my change," said Steve, smiling.

Because Steve wants to spend as much time as possible with Casey, so Steve does not want to stay at Casey's house.

Upon arrival at Casey's house, Steve immediately gets ready to go with Casey, who is about to go to the office.

"Do you really not want to rest?" casey asked Steve, on their way to the R&H Corp office, where Casey worked.

"It's okay. I want to take a look around where you work" replied Steve, sounding carefree.

At that time, Steve only wore a plain long-sleeved shirt, which was lined with a long jacket limited to his thighs, and paired with long jeans, and sneakers.

However, the appearance of Steve actually looks more prominent, and attracts the attention of employees without exception, when they arrive at the office.

Coincidentally, Casey and Steve met with Lionel, Aaron, and some of the board of directors, who were waiting for the elevator to go upstairs.

"Good morning!" greet Casey, to all who were there, who then immediately replied his greeting almost simultaneously.

"Good morning!"

Casey is deliberately indifferent to Lionel, because he plans to introduce Steve to him later, when they are not with the crowd.

Thus, ever since they got into the elevator, Casey had only a light conversation with Steve, and ignored the presence of others in the elevator.

After they arrived at their destination floor, and the elevator door opened, Casey said,

"Lion! ... You can come into my room for a minute."

"Ugh?" Lionel looked like a surprised person, before he finally nodded in agreement. "Okay!"

"Casey!" Aaron held Casey's step.

"Yes! ... What's up?" ask Casey.

Aaron did not immediately answer Casey's question, and instead looked at Lionel and Steve alternately, as if he did not want to talk in front of the two men.

"Lion! ... Please take Steve to my room! I won't be long" Casey said.

"Okay!" sahut Lionel then immediately walked away, along with Steve.

"Do you feel better?" ask Aaron.

"I'm fine" Casey replied.

Aaron then just fell silent, as if confused to say what else.

"That's it? ... I don't want to keep my acquaintances waiting. If there's something about work, you can come into my room" Casey said.

And without waiting for a response from Aaron again, Casey immediately passed away and headed to his study.

After asking Morty to deliver drinks to his room, Casey rushed into his study.

"I'm sorry, Steve ... The person who was, was the CEO of this company" Casey said.

"No problem" said Steve.

"Are you two acquainted?" casey asked, looking at Steve and Lionel in turn.

"It's over!" Simultaneously, Steve and Lionel answered Casey's question.

"Now! ... Why are you two just standing? Please sit!" Casey.

Casey then went to put her bag on her desk, before she sat down on the couch with Lionel and Steve.

"What's wrong?" casey asked Lionel, who seemed to be smiling to himself, while looking at Casey.

"There's nothing" Lionel replied, smiling.

Casey shook his head, then looked at Steve, then said,

"Lionel is like my brother. He's actually a good, smart man. But sometimes, his silly behavior makes me want to pretend I don't know him."

"Casey...!" said Lionel, who looked anxious because of Casey's words.

"Pffit...!" Steve laughed restrainedly.

"Said Casey, you are a smart person in your field, so you were once a tutor to him....

... And now, you've even become a professor at university" Lionel told Steve.

"That sounds, Casey is exaggerating too much" said Steve, as if he was humbling.

"Actually Casey doesn't need a tutor. Because he is basically smart. And just pretend, so I can be smart....

... That's why, so I was only accepted to teach at a state university, which is normal. Nothing special" continued Steve, looking at Casey, then smiling.

"If you don't get me wrong, you might still be a year or two older than me" Lionel said.

"Maybe so ... I'm thirty-five, this year" said Steve.

"Yes ... You're one year older than me. I'm sorry ... I might be too relaxed, when I talk to you," Lionel said.

"It's okay ... It just becomes more comfortable, if it's like this," said Steve.

"Hm ... Okay!" Lionel looked to nod his head. "Are you married?"

"Lionels!" Casey interrupted the conversation, which he thought was too offensive about Steve's personal matters.

"It's okay, Casey," said Steve, without looking distracted.

"I'm not married yet" Steve replied to Lionel.

Steve then looked back at Casey.

And smiling, Steve continued, saying,

"Because I still haven't found someone right for me."
