My Ex-Husband Is Crazy About Me

My Ex-Husband Is Crazy About Me
Chapter 34 ~ Refuse To Meet

Diedrich company.

Ruby sat behind her desk with a complicated mind.

Even with a stack of documents on the table, as well as his predicate as a workaholic, it was still not enough to arouse his pleasure of opening and viewing those documents.

In fact, there was nothing else he could do but reflect and reflect. Forget about work, too much of it bothers you, and he can't possibly rule that out.

When Lily entered, Ruby was propping up her chin with both hands using her elbows as a support. His empty gaze made his brow lift up. 'What happened?' he muttered to himself. Maybe he missed something? Or. could something have happened without his knowledge?

Lily looked at Ruby.

The document he had placed on the table, still the same, seemed untouched in the slightest. The workaholic devil, is actually ignoring his work? Should he clap and throw a party to celebrate?

No. gabe.

This is not a good time to have a party. More than that, rather than having fun, something this calm just feels weird. Like the quiet time before the storm. It was as if there would be a big problem that would happen sooner or later.

Very fishy.

But he's not the one who can find out anything about Ruby. He was not in a place where he could ask at will. So he could only endure his curiosity by himself.

"Mrs," call Lily.

Lily's voice jerks Ruby's daydream.

Ruby turned her head and saw Lily standing in front of her desk. "What's wrong?" tanyanya, lethargic. At a time like this, he just wanted to go home and tie his two sons together so as not to go anywhere. But it's just a plan. In the end he is unlikely to realize it even though honestly he really wants to do it.

His two sons, more precisely Xavier, were thinkers. Something he did or decided on, was impossible without reason. More than that, it is likely that this is the best choice that can be made for now. Not for the sake of imposing his will or for the sake of fulfilling his ego, but for his good, for the good of all.

At least that's what Ruby caught from Xavier's intentions of insisting on leaving her. But even though he knew his good intentions, he still could not accept them.

As a mother who has cared for her child for many years, the worst and saddest thing is to live with a child who has been cared for wholeheartedly. Even if it was for his good, he still found it hard to accept it.

"CEO SVN, Vidrian Christensen, asked to meet with you" Lily said. Since there was no prior appointment, Vidrian was still stuck at the reception. And not wanting to make a mistake, he rushed towards Ruby as soon as he got a call from the receptionist.

Now, he is waiting for instructions. Should accept Vidrian or not. Given that Ruby was in a bad mood, even if she accepted it, she was afraid that Vidrian would only be a punching bag for Ruby.

So it would be better if Ruby rejected it. It's good for everyone, including him. At least he won't be in a difficult situation.

Ruby speechless.

"Madam," Lily called Ruby back.

"Essir him!" he immediately rejected the idea of eliminating it. "I don't want to see his face" he added later. Seeing his face would only make the hatred within him even greater. Better not to see it.

Moreover, he had just dampened the urge to finish him off. If he really met her, he wasn't sure if he could keep his gun safe or not.

"Okay, ma'am," Lily chimed in. He bowed and then walked away. After exiting Ruby's study, she immediately called the receptionist and asked him to subtly banish Vidrian.

After getting the 'yes' answer from behind the call, Lily immediately turned off the call and saved her phone again.

Meanwhile in the lobby, after receiving instructions from Lily to subtly reject Vidrian, the receptionist said in a soft voice to the man, "Sorry, Master, Madam is busy. He cannot accept guests at this time. You can make an appointment another day or you can make an appointment with our CEO to talk business." Rather than talking about business with Ruby and bothering her, it would be better to talk about it with Grissham. Didn't we?

At least this is a suggestion as well as a reminder that this man does not bother Ruby anymore.

Vidrian was a stiff man and never accepted rejection. While what the receptionist said was like a pureed rejection. Then, what's the difference? Whether smooth or rough, both are equally rejected. Something he hated the most.

Ignoring the receptionist, Vidrian calls Carl, "Carl."

Carl, standing behind Vidrian, said, "Yes, sir."

"Contact Lily, ask to meet" said Vidrian, giving orders.

Carl is stunned for a moment before picking up his phone and immediately contacts Lily as per instructions.

Lily, who was sitting behind her desk with a focused look at the computer screen, gasped as her phone rang. He shifted his gaze and when he saw the name listed, next to his eyebrows raised. "This guy, again?" gerrick, annoyed.

Lily picks up her phone reluctantly and immediately presses the answer button to receive the call. "Hello, how can I help you?" ask, a little rough, and get straight to the point.

"May I know, does Mrs Diedrich have free time now? My master wants to see Mrs Diedrich, we're in the lobby" Carl said. He looked nervous waiting for an answer. But he did not show his nervousness clearly.

"Sorry, Madam is busy. He has no time for this." Lily refused without hesitation, also leaving no room for negotiation.

Carl glanced at Vidrian and instantly lost all his words. Just as the receptionist had said, Lily even directly rejected him without the slightest bit of mercy.

Knowing he had no hope, Carl said a few more words before disconnecting the call and saving his phone back.

"Sir." Carl is about to say something but Vidrian hastily stops him.

"Don't say anything" said Vidrian. He knew what Carl was going to say, the rejection, again, and he was tired of hearing it.
