My Ex-Husband Is Crazy About Me

My Ex-Husband Is Crazy About Me
Chapter 49 ~ Request From Ex Husband

The man was wearing a black business suit.

His hair was somewhat disheveled, even his deep face could not cover up any signs of exhaustion within him. But all of that doesn't affect his good looks.

Some men are born well.

They will always look better than others.

His dark eyes stared at him, along with a flat face, A small sized suitcase lying beside his feet.

Ruby was surprised when she saw him. He never thought that he would see the man at the door of his apartment. He never prepared himself for such a meeting. Of course, he also did not want to prepare. He didn't want to see her again, really.

Ruby immediately backed down.

Without hesitation, he was ready to close the door.

But the door was blocked by a large hand exerting its power, holding Ruby from moving.

"Are you always like this, opening the door without checking who it is?" The man's voice flowed slowly, quietly, emotionlessly. Staring at Ruby, he hid his emotions well.

Sure enough, the woman was still the same.

Not one bit changed.

The habit of opening doors without seeing first who is coming. Back when they were living together, he was always like that. Now there seems to be no difference.

Ruby looked at Vidrian's flat face and said coldly, "Now I have seen clearly who you are and I want to close the door." And that's what he really wanted to do. But Vidrian held the door and seemed not to let go.

"You don't want to see me?" ask Vidrian. His eyes looked at him calmly. Although he knew what answer would come out of Ruby's mouth, he still asked.

Ruby raised her eyebrows. Staring at him was full of ridicule. "Isn't it clear?"

Hearing his cruel words, Vidrian showed no shock on his face, as if something like this was a commonplace thing to happen. Or rather, lately he heard it more often.

Although not good words, but it does not sound bad. Rather than not hearing his voice at all, even if it was a curse, he would listen to it without complaining.

Vidrian elaborated on his emotions and said coldly, "I have to go take care of some things. Savana will accompany you today.”

"What did you say?" Ruby's surprised. He looked at Vidrian and thought he had heard wrong.

Vidrian looked at Ruby and his black eyes were so dark and aggressive. "I'm very busy and can't take care of Savana for a while. I'll pick her up tomorrow. Can you take care of her, for me?" His tone softened as the words were thrown.

Although he knew Ruby would not accept it easily, he might even reject it immediately, but he could not give up. More precisely, it will not. Already so far, as long as he could thrust Savana to him, he was sure Ruby would accept it even if she had to.

"You think you're the only one busy? You think I'm not?" Ruby's voice is rising. It's good, is it child care? Indiscriminately asking him to look after his son? He was busy too. Very busy.

He was so tired today that he couldn't do anything more. Still telling him to look after the kid? Has he lost his brain somewhere?

"Ruby." Vidrian looked at Ruby and frowned. "Don't tell me you forgot who Savana is." He tries to remind her that Savana is his daughter. The child born of him. Also, biological relationships that can never change.

Ruby clenched her fists and glared at the bastard. He tried to control his anger inside and said, "Vidrian, I remember we made it very clear, the boy ..."

"I remember, therefore I only let him stay at your place for one night." Vidrian said in a low voice. "Can't you do it?"

“Vidrian, don't cross the line!” Ruby shouts. He did not agree that the boy was staying in his place and that the man should not carelessly make a decision.

"Me, over the line?" Vidrian looked at Ruby coldly. The pressure from his body dropped. He became upset. No. gabe. Rather than being upset, he was actually disappointed.

Vidrian doesn't say anything anymore but Ruby knows what it means.

Asking him to take care of her, even if it was only for one night, he still could not accept it. It never will.

"So, you want this to be a business?" Vidrian's tone weakened. The little ray of hope in his heart immediately withered. Of course, he really did not expect Ruby to say something like this.

But the cold voice seemed to warn him not to expect anything else. That's hard enough.

That means the journey is still far away and he has to be patient, right? After working on it slowly, he thought it was close. But it turned out that the hand he managed to hold was only a shadow.

Does he have to live in anxiety of not being able to have it for a lifetime like this?

How depressing.

Ruby sneers. "Am I not supposed to be like that with you?" This is the game Vidrian created, and he just played with him.

Vidrian's face grew sullen and anger rose from his eyes. “Ruby.."

"Dadd's." A sweet and gentle voice sounded from behind.

Vidrian turned his head and gentleness took over his eyes all of a sudden. The darkness disappeared altogether. The anger and sadness that had almost drowned him, disappeared in an instant. Change into a gentle, loving smile.

Ruby had never seen the gentle gaze of Vidrian before, even throughout their marriage. He looked on unconsciously and followed his gaze.

A small figure was right behind Vidrian, looking at the man with a dejected look.

His face and Vidrian's face were as if they were carved from the same mold. It was white and soft, and very beautiful.

That's Savana?

Yep. He also met her by chance several times. But still when he saw her again, his maternal instinct could not resist him. And he hates this feeling.

While Ruby insisted on rejecting her feelings, Savana looked at Vidrian sadly. He almost cried. At first he was very happy when he found out that he really had a mother and father would deliver her to him.

He has been dreaming about this all his life.

He even dreamed of eating breakfast made by his mother also got lunch made by him full of love.

But when in the end Vidrian delivered it to him, and heard the conversation made by his new found father and mother, he realized that he had been rejected even before he introduced himself.

Apparently, mom doesn't want it.

Really don't want it.

That was the conclusion he had drawn from their debate.

Seeing Savana once more, Ruby clenched her fists again. He turned to Vidrian. "Take him away!" His voice was firm, full of emphasis but without rejection.

Hearing this, Savana lifted her face and looked at the woman who had just asked her father to take her away, and she was aghast.

What he saw in front of him was amazing.

Sean's mother?

Isn't she Sean's mother? The graceful woman that made her envious wanted to have such a mother?

No. gabe. That's not. Why is he here and arguing with his father?

Could it..
