Only I Love

Only I Love
Chapter 31

Salma was surprised to hear the name Humaira was mentioned by Syauqi in a semi-conscious state. He felt confused by the situation, but the sense of happiness that Syauqi had already woken up made him not think too much about anything else.

Salma immediately approached Syauqi and held her hand affectionately. He tried to calm Syauqi down, "Bang, I'm here. Don't worry, I'm not leaving."

Although Syauqi was still in a state of confusion and was not fully conscious, Salma's grasp of the hand made him a little calmer.

Ala, who had been outside the hospital, felt a sense of confusion and jumbled in her heart. He cannot forget Syauqi, but is also aware that he has decided to divorce. The inner conflict grew when he heard Humaira's name from Syauqi's lips.

In anxiety, Ala decided to continue her steps and leave the location. Although he felt lost, but he could not retreat anymore.

Meanwhile, Salma remained by Syauqi's side, clasping his hands. He didn't know exactly the reason he called Humaira's name.

"Bang ... Bang ... This is Salma, not Humaira" he said.

The story continues to evolve with many emotions and conflicts that Ala, Salma, and Syauqi must face. They are faced with difficult choices and must find their own way to overcome this complicated situation.

"Humaira ... Humaira ... I'm sorry." Syauqi's hand held Salma, but his mouth did not stop whispering the woman's name

"Don't you hear what I'm saying? I'm Salma!" salma's voice that was still soft, slowly began to use a high tone.

"Humaira ... Horror ...."

The man he held, as if he had not heard what Salma had said. The happy smile that had adorned Salma's face, now slowly faded away with an upset face.

"I'm Salma, Bang! You didn't hear? I'm Salma, not Humaira!" Salma's emotions are rising because of it.

"Humaira ... Hum—"

Syauqi's mouth was closed by Salma. "Can't you see me? I am Salma! Stop calling me Humaira." Salma took a few steps back to feel something strange about this man.

"Dark. Turn lights! It's dark, I can't see anything."

Salma was stunned to hear the rumble from Syauqi's mouth. Whynot? The lights are bright enough in this room. However, Syauqi said he could not see anything. In fact, his eyes were opened very wide.

Salma shook her head. She went out and went back to the doctor and told him that her husband had just woken up.

As the doctor examined Syauqi, Salma opened the map she had found lying on top of her husband's body. After he read the contents, Salma's face turned flat.

"So it turned out to be true? It was his presence that made Bang Syauqi wake up from his long slumber?" Salma filed a divorce petition against her husband.

Six years later, a hijab-wearing girl, wearing a white base skirt, combined the tops with baby blue suits. His smile was very confident greeting the people passing around him.

He had just completed his duties as the manager of Pondok Pesantren that Abi left behind. Although the department is not connected at all with this work location, but, so many changes that he brought as a Bachelor of Civil Engineering in obtaining the shape of the school building and dormitory, so that, in addition to quality qualified, quality, the architectural style of the building is antique but beautiful, making a lot of influential people from this city and other regions who want to include their children as students in this Pondok Pesantren.

"Well," he said confidently waving into the four-wheeled vehicle in white, parked in the front parking lot of his office.

Drrr...

Drrr...

He looked at the phone while turning on the car engine that issued a smooth roar that was not noisy. His lips smiled at the name on the screen that said 'Wawa.' Without a second thought, he immediately pulled the green button.

"Assalamualaikum, Wawa."

"Makasi. Yes, it's okay. Am I not a child to be said happy birthday? I'm a quarter of a century old. Hmmmff ... I didn't think ... Time passes by very quickly." he murmured.

📲 "Well, do you feel old? That's why the hunt is off your jam status! Aren't you tired of living alone like this?"

Ala shook her head and her lips smiled even though the person on the other side could not see how expression she was given. "I'm happier this way. I can focus on work and take care of the aging Ummi. Not only that, I can also focus on sending my sisters up to S-2."

📲 "Here you are, La. You don't be like this! Is it six years? Your period of trauma to men hasn't gone away either? Now it's your turn to think about yourself, La. Why not seek your own happiness? Not that living alone is bad, but you deserve the love and happiness in your life."

He sighed. "Laughter, you know, the past can't be changed. I've been through a lot and learned to be stronger. But, right now, I choose to focus on things that are more important to me. Love and happiness are not everything to me."

📲 "But, La, you also need to take care of your heart. You deserve love and happiness. Don't let past wounds stop you from opening new doors."

Ala smiled. "Thank you, Wawa. I appreciate your concern. But right now I am happy with what I do. Live life meaningfully and give my best to those closest to me. That's enough for me."

📲 "Alright, La. I respect your choice. But remember, if one day you want to open your heart again, I will always be there for you. May you remain happy and blessed in every step of your life. Happy birthday, La. I'm proud of you."

Ala smiled and was moved by Wawa's words. "Thank you, Wawa. I am proud to have a friend like you. May we always be able to support each other and be happy in life. Thank you for remembering my birthday. I'll call you later."

With a smile still attached to his face, Ala began the journey to the Hajj and Umrah Travel Bureau which was recommended by one of the members of the Board of Trustees of the Pondok Pesantren Foundation. Ala had known the picture of its location and turned the steering wheel leaving the parking lot of Pondok Pesantren.

After a journey of about fifteen minutes, Ala turned her car to the Travel Bureau. As it turned out, the building looked very large and a line of luxury cars lined up in its parking lot.

"God, tabarakallah ... So great is the owner of this travel agency, so it is trusted by the community to use their services," muttered Ala, smiling sweetly.

Ala continued to step into the building. When entering, he is immediately welcomed and served by employees who work here. Friendly service, making Ala feel very comfortable.

"Sister wants to register Haji Plus with his mother?" ask the employee who serves Ala.

"That's right, Mom. While waiting for him, I want to register Umrah first."

The employee inputs the data provided by Ala. "Aren't you going to sign up for Umrah for what month? And a package for how many days?"

"When's the fastest trip, Mas?"

"Waahh, you can't wait to set foot on the holy ground?" seducer the agent.

Ala just smiled because she felt it was a question that didn't need an answer. Which Muslims do not want to set foot on the holy land, right? All the people, must have a longing to visit the temple, as well as Ala.

"Because we have a rule yes Kak, so, maximum Brother can leave Umrah after registration, is three months away. Incidentally, the CEO of our company will be his Tour Leader if you take this Umrah package. How, Brother? Is Brother interested?"

Actually Ala was not interested at all with the explanation that the CEO of this company who will become his Tour Leader. It's just, he was impatient to look directly at Baitullah, with Ummi.

"Well, I'll be there in three months."

Some time later, Ala had completed her registration as a candidate for Umrah. The agent who served him submitted two important papers files for the preparation of Umrah later.

"Thank you, Mum." Ala nodded then walked back.

He did not look back at someone passing by, making him almost fall. The burly hand of the man who hit him, instantly pulled Ala's wrist, making the body that was about to fall, remain standing stably.

Ala breathed a sigh of relief, did not become ill, did not become embarrassed. Then, he looked towards his wrist, still clasped by the hand of the man who was holding his body earlier.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Boss," said the agent who served Ala earlier.

"A-ala? You're Ala, right?" said the man with surprise.
