Only I Love

Only I Love
Chapter 61

The two couples were sitting in the waiting room, their hearts heavy with the news they had just received. A quiet and tense atmosphere filled the room.

Rafatar looked quite shocked to hear the news that had just been delivered by the doctor.

Ala tried to control her emotions, but her tears still continued to flow. She looked at Rafatar, hoping to get support from her husband. Rafatar, although trying to smile, but his face also looks full of mystery.

The atmosphere was very quiet, although occasionally it sounded sobbing Ala who ended up trying to calm herself.

"It seems we have to find more information" Rafatar said in a trembling voice.

"What other information? Isn't this obvious? It seems Uda was quite hit with the condition of our baby in my womb. Didn't Uda say she was going to face it together?"

Rafatar shut his mouth back unmoved. The atmosphere felt increasingly tense in the silence between them. Rafatar rubbed his face violently.

"We have to find the best way for our child and give him the care he needs."

Ala nodded, trying to calm herself. "You're right, Uda. We have to gather information, consult experts, and find the best solution for our child."

Ala clasped her husband's hand, hoping to get reinforcement from the person she loved. However, Rafatar seemed very desperate, choosing silence.

When they were called into the doctor's office to discuss options and next steps, they felt a mix of feelings that were difficult to express. Her husband did not comment much.

"In every step we take, the final decision is with you as parents" the doctor said gently. "We will support you in this process and provide the best guidance and care for your child."

Ala looked at Rafatar, with a face full of question marks. He understood that their hearts were being overwhelmed with anxiety and sadness. However, it is not that he has sworn to support each other and survive together.

"So, why just shut up?" ala asked in a discordant voice. "Are you not ready to face this?"

Rafatar looked at Ala. "I don't think we need to tell Ama what happened to our baby in your womb. I'm still hoping that the diagnosis the doctor gave me wasn't right."

Ala tried to smile, even though her heart hurt enough to hear what Rafatar said just now. "Do you regret this?" coined.

Rafatar's a little face-off. His eyes glowed in the shadows. "I'm just a little in shock. I'm trying to set my heart to accept the fate that awaits us."

Ala approached her husband, leaning back and embracing him from the side. "I'm sure, if you're next to me, we can both deal with it" Ala said in a hopeful voice.

Rafatar turned his head back to look at Ala who was leaning on him, his lips smiling gently, rubbing Ala's head affectionately.

"Let's get through this together, honey. There are also many out there who get special children and they are strong. We will fight for our child, no matter how tough the challenge."

Ala nodded in that embrace. However, Rafatar still holds a mystery in his face that had been flat, not knowing what he was thinking.
