Orsgadts
The Dumina Forest

Tired and saddened by the unexpected incident, Emune sat on the ground and leaned against a tree. Elric must be worried, Fiona and Greg, Alfred, Sean and Aiden. Are they safe?

Emune saw something appear from a distance. Although it was impossible, he still wished that it was Elric. The closer it became clear it was not Elric, but rather a white-haired girl holding a wooden stick. The girl glided over the ravine with something that looked like steam or fog. As soon as he stepped on the ground, the fog under his feet dissipated.

“You who?” ask Proner. He held his sword tightly.

“I Avena. Make a fire and mark the people across there,” he said flatly.

Hearing the girl's words, Emune jumped up and clutched her shoulder but she immediately let go. The girl's body was cold, like ice.

“Are they safe?” ask Emune.

“Yes. Just heartbroken because you're stuck here,” he said indifferently. “Fire, give them a sign,” he said again in a flat tone.

The Proner started the fire quickly. He made a torch out of a wooden branch and torn a cloth and burned it with the fire he made. He hoped the fire could be seen from the other end.

Proner made a circular shape so that those who saw it were sure it was not just a campfire. After a few times, he stopped. Torch it into the ground and start making campfires. “Emune, come here,” he said calling Emune.

“You ... how do you know my name?” ask Emune

“Be careful man, do not try to disturb him,” Horeen warned Proner.

“You must be Horeen, the pesky carrier fairy,” scorn Avena.

Horeen. The white-haired girl could not keep her mouth, she thought annoyed.

“I just found out there's an unlucky carrier fairy. Then what are you?” ask the little girl in the gray hood. It is the smallest of both size and age.

“I think he's a cursed mixed creature. Aren't you also unlucky?” Horeen laughed out loud. So hard the fallen leaves vibrate and then break and melt down to the ground.

“Horeen, stop.” Emune's not coming near Proner. His head was dizzy because he was surrounded by people he did not know. Only Horeen knew but Horeen also had to keep her distance.

Emune sat down again on the ground. “Listen, other than Horeen I don't know who you are. Can we all sit down and introduce ourselves? Horeen, sorry, you better stand near the ravine,” Emune said.

Horeen moved towards the ravine. He stopped briefly near Avena. Just a minute but the effect is amazing. Avena sneezed and shivered.

An ice master has the flu? How strange. “Very funny!” he shouted at Horeen while blowing towards Horeen. Waves of cold wind suddenly appeared crashing into Horeen until it bounced far away. Horeen reappeared while grinning. Avena smiled winning.

Emune sighed and wanted to cry. Though everything is smooth because Elric already knows about his identity and they just need to find a way to separate from Greg and Fiona. Why should I be stuck on the edge of the Dumina Forest with these “ people” freaks? I want Elric, I want to be with Elric. I'd better take care of this one first, Emune thought.

“Alright, my name is Emune. As you can see I am separated from my friends. I'm on my way to Eimersun but right now I have to get to Onykz to find the wise Olevander and ask him to free Horeen from the curse,”.

“Proner, I'm a traveller. I'm in charge of looking after Emune,” Proner said.

“Pregnate me? What are you taking care of me for?” Emune confusion. Did Arrand send anyone new?

“I don't know either. A fortune teller showed it to me.” The proner grunted quietly.

All who were there saw no trust in Proner. Avena's view seemed to ask whether humans are so foolish as to believe in prophecy?

“Did the fortune teller wear a hood that made his face almost invisible and screamed to tell you to leave?” ask Emune. He remembered the strange fortune teller he had met.

“Yes! therehewas. Ahem, that weird fortune teller showed you in something like a maelstrom,” Proner said.

“I?” Emune frowned.

“Yes. You were in Galvey back then. I looked for you there,” answered Proner.

Did ya? Emune tried to remember. In Galvey he only remembered there was a crazy Rhea.

Emune noticed Proner's face exposed to the light of the campfire. That man is young, Fiona's age. Although it looks clean but it looks clean.

Did he really meet her? Lest this guy just make it up. But he saved me. Why do they do it if they don't feel it's necessary? “Ah! You were standing in the wine shop back then!” peekit Emune's. He remembers now.

“Yes. I wonder where you went.” The Proner watched Emune. From such a close distance he did not feel anything strange about the girl.

“You followed all the way here? I think there is something strange. Why doesn't Greg know? Maybe he's too busy looking after me and Fiona.” Emune spoke for himself.

“Greg knows. He allowed me to follow you as long as I kept my distance,” Proner said.

Emune. Greg knows?

“Wah, your fate is the same as mine,” Horeen said. He was playing with leaves that turned to ash every time he touched. No one is talking about Horeen.

Then it was Avena's turn. The white haired girl moved her fingers, her long hair was woven by the white mist that moved like two hands.

“Avena, I'm a mixture of humans and ice fairies. I was just walking around Artamea at first then I heard from your friend that you were going to find Olevander to help that unlucky elf so I decided to follow you,”.

“Avena, don't call him that. Called Horeen. How can you exist outside of the magical world? I know you're sealed in there.” Emune was astonished.

“I'm only half a fairy so I can live on human land. I was driven out by the villagers for freezing the village. The village chief is depraved! He wants to touch me.” Avena brushed her shoulder off as if the disgusting man's hand was still there.

“Then you went berserk and hurt the villagers?” chirps Horeen.

Avena grinned. “I didn't mean that. Even though I tried to explain, they suddenly came carrying hot water to flush into my body. I could die, so I just frozen everything. Not for long, just a minute. They're alive and they just kicked me out,”

“Why were you cursed, Horeen?” ask Proner.

Horeen who had been quietly hovering over the wide chasm from her panic heard Emune's screams move to the edge but still quite far from the small group surrounding the campfire. He looked at the dark sky full of stars.

“It was a misunderstanding. I drove the wife of the Flower Fairy King I met in the forest then suddenly I was ambushed, cursed and thrown out of the magical world.”

“You don't know why they did it?” ask Emune.

“If I hadn't panicked, this wouldn't have happened. How can we get to Orsgadt quickly?” Emune's dizzy. Nothing seems normal in this group, he thought.

“We can walk down the edge of the forest and reach Imperia. Unfortunately the sandstorm is coming soon, at risk if it passes the border.” Proner added twigs to the campfire.

“We can be faster if we pass through Dumina Forest,” Horeen said.

Everyone looked at him. The idea was obviously crazy. No human made it out of the forest alive. Proner, Emune and Avena talk together, essentially rejecting Horeen's crazy idea.

They don't want to be the food of witches or their terrible pets. What if they were turned into rocks or cockroaches or goats? Horeen tried to explain but the three were already not interested because of the high risk.

“I can drive you,” the little girl in a gray hood who has not had a turn to talk since finally made a sound too. Everyone looked at him. They remembered that there was a little girl among them. “Hai, I'm Leonz. I'm a witch,” she said in a cheerful tone.

“That's what I mean,” said Horeen. “You are as bad as fairies who catch and curse me without listening to my explanation,” said Horeen slowly. “Sucks!” he slammed his ass to the ground to sit down.

Never mind sitting, not touched by the ground around it has collapsed and added to the width of the abyss. Again ignored by others. They were busy talking to the little girl.

“Sorry, I forgot you were here. Can you really help us get out of the Dumina Forest?” ask Emune.

“Sure. Even if I was a child, I was also a witch, ” Leonz replied.

“After Dumina Forest there is Hope Sandfield and Death Valley. You can roast in the desert without an oasis and shelter. Then get lost in the valley with the ghosts that will drag you down into the black swamp or the death hole,” Horeen told anyone who might not know.

“I've heard of it. Can you make a protector with the ice power you have, Avena?” ask Emune.

“I haven't used it in a long time. I'll try.”

“Slightly worrying but not wrong if we try,” Proner said.

“How long is the journey across that desert?” ask Avena.

“Three days if not stopped by a storm,” replied Horeen.

“I think we can try it,” said Emune.

“You're sure your friends will approve it?” ask Avena.

“They don't have to approve it. We will go without them,” Emune said. At first he regretted this incident but now he considers it as another path that can bring him to Orsgadt faster.

“You sure, Emune?” ask Proner. “Avena can take us across, I think,” Proner said.

“Yes. It's good to be apart from them. We have to get to Orsgadt.” Emune had already established his intentions. Both of Emune's eyes stared at the tongues of fire dancing before him. His resolve is round. He will not retreat, he must arrive at Orsgadt soon.  “Avena, please tell Elric, I'm waiting for him at Onykz,” pinta Emune on Avena.

Avena woke up and began to cross the ravine gracefully, helped by the cold mist beneath her feet. He was happy because for the first time there were people who saw his departure without swearing and throwing it. It's spanking!

“Why don't you just speed up to get there faster? Sok graceful!” horeen exclaimed from earlier annoyed at Avena. He moved his hand and pushed the air towards Avena's back.

Avena was pushed and quickly reached the edge of the abyss. He was angry at Horeen who interrupted his moment of happiness and shook his hands while shouting furiously. “Stupid series!” exciting Avena.

Far across it, Horeen was invaded by a vortex of cold mist and slammed into the ground three times.

“What are all childish fairies like?” ask Leonz.

“Kurasa no. Ignore them,” replied Emune.

“I'll find rabbits for us to eat,” said Proner. He grimaced to see Horeen lying face down on the ground. Fortunately, she was a fairy, he thought.

“Leonz, how old are you?” ask Emune.

“Nine years of road,” replied Leonz.

“Will you open your hood?” pinta Emune's.

“Sure.” Leonz opened the hood. Emune was almost gaping in front of Leonz. This girl is so beautiful. His long hair was golden and curled beautifully. His face is ovoid, his cheeks are slightly stye and red. Who would have thought she was a witch?

“You are beautiful once!” exclaim Emune restrained.

“My mom always says so,” says Leonz plain.

“What magic can you do?” ask Emune.

“I'm still learning to make potions and cast spells. I can make a small light,” he said proudly. He flicked his left hand. A small light appeared and grew to the size of a fist.

“Wah, you're so smart!” Emune clapped.

“I can also make tendrils like I have Horeen,” Leonz added.

Horeen saw the tendrils that Leonz meant. “It's not ‘sulur-sulur’, it's a curse bond!” annoyed.

Emune ignored Horeen's annoyance. “Really? what will those tendrils do?” ask Emune enthusiastically.

“I'll show you.” Leonz patted the light earlier, moving both of his palms slowly around the light. The ball of light turned into tendrils that continued to extend. Leonz put it on the ground. The tendril continued to extend and move towards the edge of the abyss. “It can last long enough. It used to be just for a minute.”

“Industry ..” Emune's fascinated. Other than the campfire, there were now light-giving tendrils at the edge of the forest.

The Proner returned from hunting rabbits. He got two tails and immediately prepared them to burn. He was surprised to see the luminous tendrils but because they were harmless, he finally smiled.

Avena has not returned even after the rabbit meat has matured. Emune hopes nothing serious happens across the street. Emune, Proner and Leonz eat voraciously.

Emune looked up at the sky. Elric, I want to see you soon, he said in his heart.

The wind blows the leaves. Emune left everything to the natural lord. He was convinced that he would not stop fighting for his throne.
